The homemade corn tortillas are great. We ordered the costa azul (shrimp wrapped in bacon) this came with rice and beans I also had the shrimp cocktail, they need to make sure all the shrimp in the cocktail are deveined other than that everything was our liking. To drink we had a Horchata and a Bohemia beer. They have indoor and outdoor dining with plenty of booths and tables to enjoy your meal. The customer service was excellent. read more

This place makes some of the best chili Colorado. I love the service here. Their coffee has the best hint of cinnamon and the place is small and feels like home. Love to come here. I came here with my bff when he lived 5 minutes away. Place was packed and we got lucky there was the only one handicap parking open. They seated right away as someone just left. Holy crap! The food is so good and so authentic, I felt like I was at my tia's house eating lunch! We had the sampler appetizer plate and I ordered beans and rice with side of chips with salsa. Plus beers, lots & lots of beers we got so loud one lady kept staring at us & I waved to her when we left and apologized, which she was cool and said no worries just making sure you guys ok to drive. We were, & to my friends defense, he only had 2 beers but we hadn't seen each other in forever so we were too overwhelmed with joy and I guess we appeared drunk but we weren't. But it's nice people care enough to say something-gracias señora! If you're ever out here, and craving Mexican seafood, this is the place but get there early to get parking and a seat, it gets really packed. This review is based only on their enchiladas. I understand that depending on what city you're from in Mexico people prepare food differently. Make no mistake though. This establishment does not know how to make enchiladas. From the lack of sauce used or the type of cheese barely sprinkled on them and who puts lettuce on top of them ??!! My opinion the enchiladas should have plenty of sauce on them melted cheese! The more the better and absolutely NO lettuce! read more

I came here just for the menudo. It is so good. They serve it in a variety of sizes; we ordered a large and it was enough for two people. It's a huge serving. I've also gone with my own pot to order menudo for takeout. I've only gone twice in the morning, but each time they were pretty busy. Service was good nonetheless especially for takeout. I prefer to takeout, but that's just me. It was faster service. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The time we ate there we sat outside and service was good both in and out of the restaurant. They have fans outside to alleviate the heat or help with flies which is good, but then it's loud. read more

We came to this place on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The food was good but what really really stood out was the amazing service. Not once did our coffee cup need refill, continually the waitress would check on us . Not just the one assigned to our table but every one that passed asking if we needed anything else. People here are not only rude but the food is expensive. I came here a few times and it seems like everyone wants to quit. The food they serve is overprice and if you get it to go chances are they will forget something. While in Ontario we found this place on a foodie review site so we thought we'd try it. When we pulled up we were a little skeptical, there was a lot of construction sites and not much parking available. I walked in to check it out and found a counter for to go orders. To the side was a small room with some seating but noticed a tent with other seats. We stayed and were happy we did. I had the shrimp Isabella which was spicy but delish and the beans were creamy and not thick. The rice was also very good. My husband had the chile verde burrito which was tasty too. We eat at this restaurant fairly often. Some of my family eats here quite a bit. I enjoyed my plate but loved the Horchata more! My husband was not a fan of his burrito and for him to have a strong reaction says a lot. I will have to ask him what the meat was so he doesn't get it next time. The food finally came and then off went the waited again not along if we needed anything, not checking on us, no refills (mind you there were only about 4 other parties and 2 more waitresses) . I used to go here often, but now the place has gone down. I took my family because I was craving Caldo de Res. It was a Wednesday night at 8pm. Ordered my Caldo, got Chile Colorado for my girlfriend, and a fish taco for my kid. The beans were bad, sour with bubbles on top, rice was dry and old, the beef in the Caldo was very different from what it used to be, dry with a lot of grasa. The only thing that was good was the fish taco. We were very disappointed. And for $20 for the Caldo and $20 for the Colorado, it is definitely not worth going back. read more
