First things first, this location has ample parking and has been in business for several years. Clearly, something is working. There is usually a line at this location, but the food is worth it. When you walk in it's like modern food hall vibes. You line up, place your order, and find a table - inside or out. Service is pretty quick here, no long wait times. The Brisket Taco, I could've ordered 3/5 and been completely happy. Also, the queso...I could drench everything in that. I did try to get a lil experimental and try the Chicken Quesadilla with Lemon Sauce. I won't be ordering that again... However, if you're asking will I be back? Yes. Yes, I will.

The food and service were good. Upon entering, you place your order at the register and pick your seat at a table. The food arrived promptly and was quite delicious. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, as it offers a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for catching up with friends without the distractions of a noisy environment.

Went there on my way back from Ikea about 15 minutes before closing and was delighted by everything there. Here is the summary of my experience there: 1) Ambiance 5/5: The place limited parking but they validate your parking which is great. They have heated outdoor seating which is great. The indoor is nothing like fine dining which this is not but casual and easy on the eyes. 2) Service 5/5: Although the place was busy, the order-taking was pretty quick, delightful, and helpful. 3) Food 5/5: Although the menu is limited, I feel there is something for everyone here. We were served with nachos with queso dip with jalapenos. I like things on the spicier side and so I loved the queso dip. Here is what we ordered: a) Veggie Bean tacos: I was not looking forward to it but it was really tasty and big. I ordered 2 and it filled me up. This is a great treat for people who love vegetarian dishes. b) Fried Chicken Taco: My wife ordered it and she loved it. c) We also ordered Fish and Briskett (recommended by the front desk) but my wife still liked the Fried chicken taco the best. Overall, if I had to nitpick any issue, it would be that they do not have soda on tap and serve Coke cans. 4) Value for Money 5/5: This is definitely one of the cheaper restaurants with great food. I mean my two tacos were under $10 and I felt full. Definitely worth the visit, now this chain will be on my radar whenever there is one around. The good: 1) Nachos with Queso 2) Fried Chicken Taco 3) Veggie bean taco 4) Price 5) Heated outdoor and entry Not so good: 1) Just nitpicking about no soda on tap.

What I love most about this local chain is the food is consistently good regardless of the location you choose. I've eaten at all of the Atlanta Metro locations and without fail, quality good food and still affordable. I highly recommend the Fried Chicken Tacos with Jalapeño Cole Slaw, the Brisket Tacos another Hit !! Brisket Enchiladas with Lemon Cream Sauce awesome and add a side of Beans and Rice. I'm also a big fan of the Chips and Salsa Trio...it's a great starter with more than one person eating - - they could be a meal all alone. Margaritas are pretty good also. They have a full bar so anything you want they can make. My only issue ever is that it's such a popular place - you will typically have to wait in a line around prime meal times so be prepared...you can't get a table until you order...so whole families or dinner parties are in line together which adds to the length of time you wait. They do validate parking at the Howell Mill Location too which is where I was last night.. there are other restaurants that share this lot so parking can be a bit tight - but hey it's West Midtown and kinda comes with the territory when eating anywhere in this area. The seating is ample and can accommodate a nice little group of friends for a meal - it's very casual and it has heated outdoor seating as well. 3 Strong Stars for food, drinks and overall value - from a service perspective - your interactions are so minimal and brief I've never just felt like it was anyone's pleasure to greet, welcome and take care of you. More transactional ... but then it's a counter order place. So I absolutely recommend this place I think you will truly enjoy the food and very casual vibe. "buen provecho"

I've eaten here a few times and I have a few thoughts, while overall I'll mention this place is fantastic. I'll always keep coming back! Their tacos and enchiladas are mouth-watering, the salsa trio is outstanding, the atmosphere is chill and service is always soooo fast even when they're packed to the brim. I've had their fried chicken tacos and their chicken +red chili enchilada on different occasions and both are ridiculously delicious. Although I'll mention the portion size for the enchilada appears to be a half-portion (taking up less than half of the plate, on a small plate). I'm a small person, and usually only eat half my food anyway, but by the end I was debating if I should just order another one - munching on the salsa trio instead turned out great. I love the atmosphere because it's so airy, bright with daylight (on a sunny day) with their patio space, and the bar area is wonderful. I also like the self-serve water station and upscale cafe vibe they have. There was once when I ordered the margarita, and they served something that looked like Mountain Dew (but it tasted good, definitely a margarita). I was confused because other people had these lovely pale green margs, and this was a strange neon green/yellow color. I'd only asked for "a margarita" - and I found later that they have two kinds with different names. If she's asked me which I preferred, I'd definitely have chosen the pale green one, even if it was slightly more expensive. I think it was a dollar or two extra. Overall this is a wonderful place. The price is great, the food is spectacular. Absolutely I will go again.

Taqueria Del Sol is such an Atlanta classic! You can never go wrong with anything on the menu here and you are always guaranteed great food and servicing. The parking lot can be busy but Taqueria does offer a validation code for the ParkMobile which is great! Always start of with a classic Margarita and chips and queso and guac! The salsa trio is good too but the queso is better. For my main, I always get the fried chicken taco with a roasted chicken enchilada with salsa verde and it's the best!! So simple and delicious. I will add rice and beans but I've been told to next time get the shrimp and corn chowder instead or 2 tacos with the enchilada. Either way peces are great as well! You seat yourself and food is always brought to your table so quickly!! 10/10

We love their tacos and the margaritas never miss. Minus a star bc I'm not a fan of the waiting in line to order and then finding a table vibe

Came here for lunch. You order at the counter and the food served to your table. Prices very reasonable. Tacos very good as was the enchiladas. Guacamole was very good with warm chips. Ambiance very good with both indoor and outdoor seating.

I came with a large group around 12:30pm and ordered off of the lunch menu, but for some reason was the only person at the table that was charged for a dinner plate and received a dinner portion. I ordered the cauliflower tacos and paid $40. I didn't get full from the tacos, but I stopped eating them because they weren't very appetizing. The cauliflower was very crunchy, lacked seasoning, and didn't really go well with the taco. Their bottomless chips and salsa were great though. The chips are so light and have the perfect crunch. The only issue is that since we had such a large group, the chips were finished about 10 minutes after we sat down and were never refilled, so we all kinda sat picking at the crumbs. While I didn't order the salad, many people that I was with did and it looked good. I am unsure of our servers name, but she was nice. She did fine for our 10 person table; She forgot to grab different drinks and refills but overall she was good, very friendly. We were sat outside, which half of us didn't know there as outdoor seating, but I would totally recommend. The weather was great, it wasn't loud nor crowded, and there weren't many bugs or anything. Overall, the food seems good, I just wouldn't recommend that a vegetarian or vegan goes here due to the very limited options.

We were greeted at our table by Deja, who was incredibly welcoming and full of energy--she really set the tone for the experience. My boys are usually picky eaters, but she nailed their orders on the first try without any confusion, which is no small feat. As for me, I went with the nachos topped with beef and beans, and they were fantastic. The chips were crispy and held up perfectly under all the toppings--ground beef, cheese, and all the good stuff. It would've made any "master chef" proud. The salsas deserve their own mention. I honestly can't say enough about them. The little reddish salsa was my favorite, but the warm salsa was also excellent--full of flavor and a nice twist compared to the usual cold options. We also added a side of queso, because let's be honest, you can't go wrong with cheese dip. Overall, the food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was buzzing with energy right before a Braves game at The Battery Atlanta. I'd absolutely return next time I'm in the area. Great job, folks.

Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

It was a rainy day and my dad and I had arrived before I started grad school at Ga Tech. Our server was an Electrical Engineering student at Tech. It was appreciated after the typical chaos of moving to a new city that he happened over here my dad and I talking and he shared he went to Tech. Over the 2 decades since, I've brought friends who live here and from outside the city to enjoy the great serving and kitchen staff. My wife and I have been many times including on the restaurant's anniversary night last fall. We are sorry to hear the landlord has decided to raise the rent and sell the property. Heather has been our server multiple times. She was our server tonight as we celebrated my wife's birthday with her parents, aunt and sister. From calamari to the desert platter and entrees in between, the food was incredible. The fried lobster tails are a must. The mouse has been my wife's favorite for years. The one note is Jacob the General Manager needs to learn to trust his servers. At the beginning of the meal I let Heather know despite being a party of 7 to just bring the check to me and I'll settle up with the other guests via Venmo. And, at as we were finishing dessert, Heather came by letting me know the next party for our table was had arrived and could she bring our check. I said yes. While Heather was getting our check ($490 Food & $600+ after tip) the Manager came by telling us we needed to finish up and have our check brought. When I asked the Manager to not make this an unpleasant experience and that coming by after Heather had just communicated the situation and I had agreed she told me I should share this feedback with the General Manager. She, Jacob (GM), and I stood on the front patio where I explained what I'm sharing now: Trust your Servers. He said they were front facing and so the management likes to meet the guests. Having your Manager tell us we need to get our check and leave is not the way to meet your guests. Chef Jack and his wife (the owners) are hospitable and trust and appreciate their staff. Jacob having his Manager micromanage the servers management of tables is nowhere close the focus on service the owners have had for 26 years. I hope that Jacob and the Manager take this as a learning moment that if you hire talented people your trust talented people to bring their talents to their job. Sure it was busy. But, that's why Chef Jack hired the staff he hired. Jacob the GM needs to increase the communication with his talented team instead of using the excuse of being front facing to ever overstep their bounds on the relationship his servers have built with his guests. Heather introduced herself when we sat down. Jacob did not - nor should he have. Heather did a phenomenal job making us feel welcome, have food and drink we enjoyed, and even recognizing my wife's birthday with her favorite desert. And when the time came she handled coordinating bringing the bill and having us free the table so a new group could enjoy an evening at Agave. Jacob and the Manager need to trust their staff more. Micro-management is never a good look for your staff's morale or your guests' impressions. Please go see them for Jan 31st 2026 when they close. The servers are all wonderful as are the owners. And the food is like nothing else in Atlanta. The management simply needs to trust the talented staff from front to back of house with whom they get to work. If they're ever in doubt if a server is either providing the level of service they expect or turning tables at the rate needed to keep pace with reservations then talk to the server. The server needs to own their tables. Management should truly be of service to their staff - and you can only do that with trust and communication. Customers should never know management had a single question if the sever was doing what's needed. Because it's a bad look to come by twice about being the check. Especially when the 2nd time is in between the 1st ask if they could and the server bring the check. Of note, I already had my credit card out so that I could hand it to Heather as soon as she returned with the check. And in front of the manager, I handed Heather my credit card. Everything else was great. But, why rush guests?
