I've been to both the Somerset and Fall River locations, and I love how consistent they are with their level of service and quality and authenticity of food. Excellent! The ambience is cozier at the Somerset location which is to say that Fall River feels more open, but both are clean and well designed, not over the top with Mexicana decor, which I think can slip into the tacky theme category. I don't know who's in charge here, but they run a tight ship, super efficient, with a thoughtful professional staff, and they do it consistently. Well done!!That's not easy with the staffing challenges these days. I don't like to take risks with my hard-earned money. So while more and more "elevated" Mexican restaurants seem to open in the area, I choose to stick with Fiesta for great food and amazing service EVERY TIME. I recommend you do the same! I've driven past this place at least a dozen times, and today my husband, daughter, and I finally decided to give it a shot since it wasn't too busy. Hunger won. The food? Decent. Not mind-blowing, but it hit the spot. Prices were fair, portions were generous, and it definitely calmed the craving for Mexican food. If you're looking for bold, unforgettable flavor--this isn't that--but it's totally fine for a quick bite. Service was great--friendly and fast. The music? Surprisingly awesome! If there's anything that I typically return to Fiesta for, it's the ooey gooey pollo con crema, a tender blend of cheese and comfort that aims to accomplish nothing more than putting a smile on its diner's face. I was slightly disheartened to see that it was slightly thicker and saltier than those at the original Somerset location (or perhaps even Dartmouth...), but it still finds space for rent in my heart. As is the case with Somerset, the incorporation of thatched roof palapas tells me they decorate not just for the sake of it, but to stamp it in that you've walked into a distant world. The paradox of building inside building (in other words, one form of architecture that is constructed inside a building of a different mold) is a time-consuming yet worthwhile process that delivers when done correctly. The staff have done quite a fair job of keeping the building ship-shape, the service swift, and the Fiesta brand consistent with its other venues. While based on previous experiences, I wish the food offerings had the same legendary impact on me as the stuff at my other two spots, it's good enough to bring out my gratitude. ¡Buena suerte, todos! read more

The original Fiesta used to be my go to for Mexican food in the area. I had never been to the Fall River location before, but I assumed that it would be the same. Well, it's not! The space is nice. There is lots of room, and it's modern and well decorated. Our server was friendly and attentive, so I will definitely give them credit for that. My jalapeño margarita was quite tasty, and they did have a good size bar. So I imagine this would be a good place to go for a drink. I ordered the enchiladas mole with rice and beans. I found the rice to be very dry, and the beans were headed that direction. My enchiladas were very bland and the mole sauce tased as if it were from a can (if that is even possible). The prices were also not cheap for anything on the menu. Certainly far above the quality of the food that was served. I would likely go to Taco Bell next time for more authentic Mexican food. The food here has great potential (delish rice and beans) but they really need to get their act together. Tonight, I ordered Birria dinner takeout and about a third of the meat was thick rubbery fat and they forgot to add flour tortillas. Last visit they forgot the guacamole and when I called for a partial refund or credit, I was told since I ordered from their online site, I have to take it up with Door Dash. Extremely disappointing every time I give it another shot. Outrageously salty and takeout is almost guaranteed to mess up your order. I asked 3x on phone for cheddar cheese instead of disgusting American cheese on my burrito... I asked for them to make sure when I picked it up. They said it was all set. Of course it wasn't. Somerset is absolutely nothing like the Fall River location. Terrible service! Our server was the red headed girl. The first thing we heard was her complain to a young male about having a table sat in her section. Why work if you can't be bothered? She proceeded to come over to the table to take our order and she was very short and quick yet she had plenty of time to be on her phone. Again, like she couldn't be bothered. Although I only had a few bites left, she didn't bother to ask if I was done eating. She just took my plate and I didn't get to finish my meal. Something just seemed off with her. I would absolutely stay away from her section. Give your money to someone who is actually willing to work for it. As bad as my experience was, the blonde hostess was friendly. My friend and I went to The Fall River Fiesta for lunch. We ordered the tacos and chimichanga. Both were exceptional. Our meals were prepared quickly. The waiter was very good. Absolutely DISGUSTED!!! came here with my friend to get a quick drink, and have never been more turned off. Bartender was super cool, and was making us a pitcher of margarita. A young blonde curly haired boy went over to the bar and stuck his finger in the drink, and put it to his mouth to suck the drink off of his finger to taste it. I complained to the bar tender and he was super cool about it and made us a new drink. They need to spend a bit more time training their younger team members. Every single time I order from this place, they try to rip me off. If I didn't check my bank account, I would have never known that they were over charging me (tipping themselves?) charges not on receipt but in account. It has happened both times I went there and then I picked up an order for a friend and paid cash at the curbside pick up and she never came back with my change.
