tacos de buche y lengua
Just Us ..

Friendly staff, good food! We went for the antojitos but ended up with a plate of chile relleno, tacos de buche/lengua, agua frescas and no room for more. Well plated with all the condiments we wanted. Will be back to try the Michoacana ice cream/paleta side!

Carne asada tacos

They accept card! Inside isnt much to look at, but their food is delicious. Each taco is approximately $1.50 each, but they are on the bigger side of the spectrum compared to other taquerias to the bite size street taco size. Ordered a carne asada burrito and a Carne asada quesadilla (Each item is approximately $7), and pretty big sized. The burrito comes with cheese, cilantro, onions, rice and beans (I opted for no beans). The burrito was delicious, the meat is flavorful, the rice has more of a fried taste, rather than just steamed, the burrito is greasy (Unhealthy but that's where the flavor is!) The quesadilla was also delicious and comes with a side of diced lettuce and sour cream. Overall: reccomend!

Wow wow! That salsa will wake you up! Walked in casually in the middle of the day and place was fairly packed so I almost left, but very glad I braced the line. Ordered 3 tacos and a burrito for the ride home, ate the tacos so quick I wish I ordered 20 more. The tortillas were grilled to that sweet spot, in between slightly crispy and soft. The meat was seasoned and grilled great and they gave me some salsa which really kicked! Was a bit sleepy before eating but afterward I was hyped! Thanks to the friendly staff and to that secret family recipe, so good!

Nice workers and the food was really good. The portion for the burrito was massive and large enough for 2. Definitely recommend !

Bought some tacos 4 carne asada, 2 chicken and 2 carnitas. All are 1.79.

Bought some tacos 4 carne asada, 2 chicken and 2 carnitas. All are 1.79 each not like what they have on their menu. Which says 1.45. Hope they taste good.

Just a local Mexican joint but they cook up some flavorful and tender meat! The dishes were served with pickled carrots and radishes ---Cabeza quesadilla: not listed on the menu but you can choose any meat on the menu. we didn't eat it fresh on the spot and the Cabeza is juicy so the quesadilla was a bit soggy but the meat was very moist ---beef stew: SPICY, served with rice, beans, and corn tortillas, not my cup of tea but also very flavorful and tender NOTE: ask for extra red hot sauce, it is money!!

It's a small joint, feel like I'm back in El Monte Has a scent to it when you first step in but it disappears as you chomp your food. The staff is nice Pretty delicious tacos, menu board doesn't have prices Food is made to order rather than having a heaping pile if meat waiting around. Tacos are stuffed generously Rice and beans were tasty Will be a frequent visitor

Finding great-tasting tacos close to home is always a plus. For us, that special place (or at least one of many, anyway) is Taqueria El Rancho. Be careful when seeking it out, however, as it's actually easy to miss, hidden a bit off Beach Blvd. and Orangewood, nestled between both a laundromat and a...well, what looks to be a lonely, little saloon. (The shared parking places always seem to be full. Whether that's from want of tacos, beer, or clean socks, I'm unsure. You'll decide.) Taqueria's tacos, though, I love them. Along with the extensive and delicious menu, and including the smiling service, I don't see how their tacos could be anything less than awesome. (In the interest of being honest, I will say that I was less impressed with the burritos. But, with that said, I'm willing to give them another try.)

4 star rating is for their 3-Roll Taco…read more This place has always been reliable for their carne asada, California Burrito, chicken chimichangas, and 3-rolled tacos. I've been coming here since it was originally named Alberto's...The outside seating has not changed. It's still the same round table bench with the red umbrella. Service is the same, they're pretty quick at getting your food prepped. Now I said that their carne asada has always been reliable, but my last two times I've ordered a carne asada burrito (sour cream and cheese only) or a CA burrito, IYKYK, their meat has tasted different. It taste like it's some carne asada and then like some other mystery meat, sometimes liver... Either way I stop eating it when I have tasted it being weird. Maybe it's the other meats they serve that get mixed in. I don't dig that. So for that I would rate them down to a 3 star. I'm rating their 3 rolled tacos as 4 stars! It's the best around. It has the crunch and enough meat inside. It's not all tortilla like some places. We always order it with sour cream and cheese only, with carrots on the side. I've tried adeltacos down the street and it doesn't compare. Get it here.

We moved away, but grew up with Albertaco's and we LOVE IT. Carne asada fries, chicken quesadilla, cali burrito, their red salsa, chef's kiss. Last year May 2025, we drove and did takeout for our brothers birthday. We ordered 2 carne asada fries, and they only gave us 1 (our order was big). Yesterday, May 17,2026, I drove out here again for my brother's birthday request to do takeout for our entire family. Ordered 2 orders of their rolled tacos, finally got home to see that we only received 1 order of the rolled tacos, not 2 (we also ordered more things). Yes, you'd obviously like for everything that you paid for to be handed to you, but a lesson learned to check your bags!!! If something is missing, kindly let them know and receive everything you paid for. Not the end of the world, we love this place as this is one of our childhood comfort foods/go-to places.. we moved away and miss this place all the time, and to make our birthdays feel like home/childhood, we drive out here to show our loved one some extra love with Albertaco's BOMB food, but yeah, it's a bummer when you're missing things that you paid for & is shown on the receipt (will post receipt photo shortly).

been coming here for 25 years, so i thought its about time i write a review…read more this place is a torrance staple. anyone who grew up in torrance or the south bay knows la capilla. have the prices gone up? yes. that's with anything. have the portions gotten smaller? honestly not really!! has the service changed? NOPE! i don't even think the staff has changed! i've been knowing these people since i was a kid and they're still here. la capilla is the definition of a mom and pop hole in the wall mexican restaurant. and that's part of the charm and what makes it so amazing. you start off with fresh chips and home made salsa. after all this time it's still the best red salsa out here. the menu is full of authentic mexican dishes. there's something for all ages and tastebuds. i love: chile verde, arroz con pollo, mini tostada, carnitas burrito, tortilla soup, and machaca just to name a few things. i could get one of everything if my tummy allowed!! when you come eat here, you are coming for the vibes. you feel like family even if it's your first visit. everyone here is genuinely happy to be working and you can tell. the food is made with such love. idk what i would do if they shut down! i have so many memories here as a kid. i've been here with family, friends, and even solo. my husband and i had our first date here, and he also came here often as a child. it's one of those places where, even if it's not nostalgia for YOU, you can tell this place is rooted in family and culture and tradition. no, it's not a fancy steakhouse. but it's not meant to be. come by and taste for yourself why this place is so historic and special. a cup of tortilla soup is a MUST!!!! :)

Wow! What an amazing Mexican restaurant here in Stanton!…read more I truly enjoyed my enchiladas here. I got both cheese and shredded beef and they were both perfect. They're generous with the beef and sides that include rice and beans and a small salad.
