    tacos de buche y lengua
    Just Us ..

Friendly staff, good food! We went for the antojitos but ended up with a plate of chile relleno, tacos de buche/lengua, agua frescas and no room for more. Well plated with all the condiments we wanted. Will be back to try the Michoacana ice cream/paleta side!

They accept card! Inside isnt much to look at, but their food is delicious. Each taco is approximately $1.50 each, but they are on the bigger side of the spectrum compared to other taquerias to the bite size street taco size. Ordered a carne asada burrito and a Carne asada quesadilla (Each item is approximately $7), and pretty big sized. The burrito comes with cheese, cilantro, onions, rice and beans (I opted for no beans). The burrito was delicious, the meat is flavorful, the rice has more of a fried taste, rather than just steamed, the burrito is greasy (Unhealthy but that's where the flavor is!) The quesadilla was also delicious and comes with a side of diced lettuce and sour cream. Overall: reccomend!

Yum Great lunch today, friendly service, delicious food, excellent value! We tried the chicken tacos, birria tacos, carnitas tacos, chicken torta, lengua nachos, taquitos, and burritos. All super tasty. Next time I want to try the tamales elote

Wow wow! That salsa will wake you up! Walked in casually in the middle of the day and place was fairly packed so I almost left, but very glad I braced the line. Ordered 3 tacos and a burrito for the ride home, ate the tacos so quick I wish I ordered 20 more. The tortillas were grilled to that sweet spot, in between slightly crispy and soft. The meat was seasoned and grilled great and they gave me some salsa which really kicked! Was a bit sleepy before eating but afterward I was hyped! Thanks to the friendly staff and to that secret family recipe, so good!

Nice workers and the food was really good. The portion for the burrito was massive and large enough for 2. Definitely recommend !

Bought some tacos 4 carne asada, 2 chicken and 2 carnitas. All are 1.79 each not like what they have on their menu. Which says 1.45. Hope they taste good.

Just a local Mexican joint but they cook up some flavorful and tender meat! The dishes were served with pickled carrots and radishes ---Cabeza quesadilla: not listed on the menu but you can choose any meat on the menu. we didn't eat it fresh on the spot and the Cabeza is juicy so the quesadilla was a bit soggy but the meat was very moist ---beef stew: SPICY, served with rice, beans, and corn tortillas, not my cup of tea but also very flavorful and tender NOTE: ask for extra red hot sauce, it is money!!

It's a small joint, feel like I'm back in El Monte Has a scent to it when you first step in but it disappears as you chomp your food. The staff is nice Pretty delicious tacos, menu board doesn't have prices Food is made to order rather than having a heaping pile if meat waiting around. Tacos are stuffed generously Rice and beans were tasty Will be a frequent visitor

Finding great-tasting tacos close to home is always a plus. For us, that special place (or at least one of many, anyway) is Taqueria El Rancho. Be careful when seeking it out, however, as it's actually easy to miss, hidden a bit off Beach Blvd. and Orangewood, nestled between both a laundromat and a...well, what looks to be a lonely, little saloon. (The shared parking places always seem to be full. Whether that's from want of tacos, beer, or clean socks, I'm unsure. You'll decide.) Taqueria's tacos, though, I love them. Along with the extensive and delicious menu, and including the smiling service, I don't see how their tacos could be anything less than awesome. (In the interest of being honest, I will say that I was less impressed with the burritos. But, with that said, I'm willing to give them another try.)

I've been coming here since it was originally named Alberto's...The outside seating has not changed. It's still the same round table bench with the red umbrella. Service is the same, they're pretty quick at getting your food prepped. Now I said that their carne asada has always been reliable, but my last two times I've ordered a carne asada burrito (sour cream and cheese only) or a CA burrito, IYKYK, their meat has tasted different. It taste like it's some carne asada and then like some other mystery meat, sometimes liver... Either way I stop eating it when I have tasted it being weird. Maybe it's the other meats they serve that get mixed in. I don't dig that. So for that I would rate them down to a 3 star. I'm rating their 3 rolled tacos as 4 stars! It's the best around. It has the crunch and enough meat inside. It's not all tortilla like some places. We always order it with sour cream and cheese only, with carrots on the side. I've tried adeltacos down the street and it doesn't compare. Get it here.

This time I went a different direction though and picked up one of their Torta options - the Cubana. Fresh homemade bread with all of the fixings one would expect in a Cuban inspired Torta - quite large as well! The fam got Super Burritos, some with chicken and one with Al pastor. They had nothing but good to say - my son noting that it was really fresh tasting. The service was friendly and knowledgable, and they had our somewhat large order out in really good time. While you wait there's some arcade machines set to free play, a salsa bar with plenty of options, including roasted jalapeños. The place is clean with plenty of seating, and if I wasn't in a rush I'd have probably eaten there nust to get a few more rounds of Marvel v Capcom 2 in. ;)

They tack on extra charges not listed on the menu. Ordered 3 tacos and paid $19 something (handed him $20 and got some coin change). It was 2 carnitas tacos (listed for ~$4.40 each), plus an El Jefe taco (~$6.75). When he said $19 something it sounded high, I questioned it and he said that's what it is. I didn't want to argue further. I calculated it afterward and this was overpaying by $2 something. The amount is not a big deal, but I don't like being stolen from. So I'm writing this, so that others may avoid the same annoying experience. I was hoping the tacos would be really good and justifies it. But they weren't. The El Jefe one wasn't even as described. He said there would be cheese but there wasn't. The guac tasted old. And the whole plate was incredibly oily. The carnitas ones were less oily but not very flavorful either, and there were chunks of fat. Never again. Also the place was just gross. They used the same ladle for all the sauces, so it was all cross contaminated. The bathroom looked like a mess and had graffiti everywhere too.
