Good street tacos at a reasonable price! Their salsas are flavorful and got some heat to them. I like them both the green is a thicker salsa and the red pours easy on your tacos. Both of them pair well with whatever you order. They provide you with 2 salsas one of each with your order. I ordered 3 tacos and got two salsas. Today I ordered 6 tacos and asked for more than the two they provided. So he charged me .50 cents for each extra salsa I ordered! I don't mind paying for the extras as long as I can get what I want! But I believe it's reasonable to assume that the more tacos you ordered you would get a couple of more salsa's with the order? I do understand a small business watching the controls as some customers would take as much as they can get for free! I'm just a person who really likes my Mexican food to be drenched in salsa! I normally use one container per taco if I'm able to get it? Sometimes it's a hit and miss? But like I said I don't mind the extra charges for the salsa cups I wanted! I just think two cups is just not enough for 6 tacos and this time it was hard to pay that price! Pretty decent. Hard to understand people on speaker. Very poor English. Got something close to what I ordered and it was good. Tuesday best to eat here. Taco Tuesday and all marked down. Plates come with beans/rice. Far superior to Taco Bell and Taco Casa located nearby. Real salsas not the doctored up ketchup squeeze packs most places serve. Delicious breakfast burritos! Tortillas are homemade. This place is a hidden gem and I love coming here while I'm in the area. As soon as i came back from restroom i go to the counter and noticed my order On the counter, just to make sure i wanted to see if it was mine just in case they already called my name while i was in the restroom. Immediately when i tried to look at the bag a younger Lady from around the corner yelled " CAN YOU WAIT!!!???" in a extremely rude manner mentioning someone is still making my burrito. I said i'm just checking if this is my order since i went to the restroom? Don't want to take anyone elses food? Didn't get an apology or any response back really. another lady handed my food to me. (not the case of a language barrier btw) Personally I'm really big on customer service and I understand not everyone has it. Its quite essential for anyone in business to have especially in seeking a successful one. Perhaps a coaching or a training on how to approach and talk to people. Just moved to this area and Taqueria Pepe saved me from having to go out of my way for authentic Pollo Asado. It was exactly what I wanted when I think about this dish. Despite being inside a quick stop, this is real food. They even serve menudo on weekends. Excellent street tacos. About the only complaint I have is that they're slow. They usually only have two workers behind the counter, and during lunch you end up having to wait for your order 15-20 minutes. Best bet is to call ahead and place your order. Food taste is great.
