I was in this shopping center and decided to get some to go from Anthony's. I placed my order online and my order was ready when promised. The buffalo wings were tasty. I asked for extra buffalo sauce and there was a good amount at the bottom. The focaccia bread is OK. It is a little lackluster but still goes well.with the wings. They also give a piece with the Eggplant Marino. I haven't had eggplant in years so I thought it might be a nice change of pace. This one is pretty good. Ordering a pizza Super Bowl Sunday, not easy! The person taking orders in a very noisy atmosphere, so difficulty placing order and paying for pizza. Called at 3:45 for a pizza to be picked up at 4:30. this was impossible! could have 4:15 or 5:30! took the 4:15 and of course couldn't get there until 4:30 so it sat getting cold. It is unfortunate. I have been coming to this Anthony's since my kids were little. But today it is the straw that broke the camel's back. It took one hour to get a regular cheese pizza. I won't be returning here for the foreseeable future. Service in general decayed in the last year, but today I had enough. I will be going to the one in plantation and drive 20 minutes, sad because I live in Weston, but this one in Weston is terrible. Just a word of advice, do not lump Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza into that core collection of national pizza chains like Domino's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesar's and the like. I have often compared those pizza chains to kind of the fast food of pizza, while Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is definitely a step above to the fast food driven product that those national pizza chains offer. I have been to several locations in addition to this particular one here in Weston, Florida and have always had a positive experience each time. While their pizza is not earth shattering, it is still a solid pizza. As I said, my overall experience here (as well as the other Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza locations) was definitely a positive one with good food and good service and served in a pleasant environment. So I ordered the mediterranean 10" off the lunch menu. It comes with mozzarella cheese, artichoke, plum tomatoes, arugula, and kalamata olives. It was good but it wasn't great, and surely not worth almost $11 for a very personal size. The dough was a bit under cooked in the middle but the crust was just right. we order takeout meatballs and the quality is definitely worse since Burgerfi International has acquired the place. I was surprised to see at least 20 pans of precooked chicken wing. I watched as a wing order came in. The cook takes what count of wing and puts them in another pan and places it in the oven. Today me and my family looking forward to a Friday night out to a place we are pretty Familiar ( consider ourselves regular customers ) .. I called ahead of time to check the wait time, I very nice lady answer the phone and suggested it was " around 10 min wait".. this sounded good and we headed towards our pizza spot. Once we got to their location , first I noticed it was crowed it outside , meaning it was gonna be more then 10 minutes.. there's was 3 party's ahead of me without being able to sign put our names on the waiting list, because nobody was greeting the customers.. this step took us 15 min just to get our names on the list and the response was "45 min wait" , and the manager actually suggested in a way "it may take longer".. instead of encouraging customers to wait , he will do the opposite for us to leave... The manager unfortunately didn't seem to be doing its job properly , there were 4 tables at the patio with parties that had left and nobody came to clean them and move on quickly to seat us and the parties before me.. Once we were able to sit at the patio, it was flooded because the sewage it's not working properly, even do we accept to seat at the table.. there was no other table available and 55 min had past since we arrived. A lovely waiter , came and took our order quickly ( thank you ) I ask her to please if she can put the baseball game in one of the TVs in the back , she apply by saying of course!!! , a few moments later a male waiter change the TVs to only basketball game.. when I politely ask to please leave 1 tv with the baseball game to my Waiter she said " manager will not allowed it I'm so sorry"... at this moment I was just trying to not loose my cool and just wait for my pizza .. Pizza was ok, nothing out of this world and definitely not the quality that we are used to enjoy for so many years.. All together not a great experienced tonight , hopefully customer service will get back to be valued at this restaurant and improve the quality of their pizza. I will start off by saying when I think about having pizza I don't think about Anthony's. Coal fired pizza is just not my thing. With that said, I have had the catering more then I have dined in. In the few times I have dined in, I have been happy. What have I tried? Glad you asked. Salad: simple, yet delicious. For catering it is made pretty and comes with a bottle of Anthony's oil and vinegar mix. In house and out it has lettuce, Olives, tomatoes, hard boiled egg, chickpeas and red onion. For an up charge you can add blue cheese Wings: the best! Served with focaccia bread and amazing onions. They are cooked in the coal fire stove YUM! Meatballs: we have never ordered the pot, but we have had the appetizer and delish! Eggplant Marino: my favorite. Had it the first time at a catering order and had it for the first time in the restaurant the other day. HOW delicious! I get it without the romano cheese and the sauce is very flavorful. Cauliflower pizza...surprisingly good! My friend had a sandwich with prosciutto and mozzarella and said it was the best she has had. Everything is cooked in the coal fire oven so you won't find anything fried. My pet peeve (and the reason I won't give them 5 stars)....they don't have fountain soda...only bottles. I recently purchased catering and was able to order at 11:30am and pick up by 5:30p same day. Everything was ready. They included utensils and serving utensils. The paper plates were those thin paper (which the sauce from the eggplant leaked through). We had ordered for work and they put everything nicely in a nice carry bag. When I picked up my order for home they put everything in plastic shopping bags and when I asked about the carry bag the girl just told me to put both bags on my arms and carry the hot tray of food by using the white bag as a holder so I don't burn my hands. WHAT? Good thing my 6 yr old was able to help me. All in all, I will be back for the eggplant. read more

So today after my car was finished being serviced, we thought we visit this location for lunch in this location for the first time. And yes, the wings tasted just as good as other locations, and so were the meatballs. I noticed on the wall which wrote "Local Craft $4.00". Well, that sounds like a good deal. I will have a Funky Buddha. To my surprise when I got my bill, I noticed that they charged me $6.00 on the beer. I asked the bartender why I was charged $6.00 for a beer brewed locally. The answer I got was: oh, we don't consider that beer local!. What? Did I hear you right? If Funky Buddha isn't local, what are your local beers for $4.00. Ready for the answer I received? Yuengling!!! Yes, beers from Pennsylvania they consider local but beers from Boca are not. And Yeunglig isn't a craft beer! I know you may say what's the big deal, its only $2.00 different. But, I think the picture is much bigger than just $2.00. If they can be dishonest in $2.00 about the beers, imagine what else they are being dishonest to you about. You can order a nice glass of red wine and you may ended up with a house wine. You may be ordering a nice pot of meatballs, but you could end up with reheated frozen meatballs . And why would you want to support a business who is making misleading advertising to lure customers in and then lied about it. That to me is a big NO NO! Thanks Anthony's. Great pizza, wings and salad. Yes, everything else is really good also. I am not sure what it is about the coal fire oven, maybe its the high heat or the coal, but the way it cooks everything is truly delicious. We ordered wings, salad and calzone tonight and were not disappointed at all. The wings have a tangy smokey flavor and are served covered with a little grilled onions and flat bread. The salad is enough for four and is loaded with goodness. Goodness being lettuce, tomato,onion, egg, olives, chick peas and a delicious Italian vinaigrette. I add gorgonzola cheese to take it over the top. Now the calzones and pizzas, They are all delicious, the Paul and Ron with hot peppers is one of my favorites. This night we were greeted, seated, ordered and had food on our table in 15 minutes. It's not always this fast but the service here is always polite and attentive. The only negative thing I have to say about Anthonys is the menu is small and has not changed at all. It would be nice to see them try new things.
