My favorite Target store. *Helpful employees - I really wanted the old formula of Method cleaning spray. The new stuff stinks. Literally. Anyway, there was one old bottle left on the shelf, surrounded by a bunch of bottles with the new formula. He checked inventory of other stores and in the back, but it was all the new formula. Then, he asked if he could call me sometime. I declined, so he offered to give me his number. No thanks, you were very nice, but I'm good. * Prices are better than the Target at Pacific Commons, Bayfair Mall, Target on Whipple Ave near 880 (and Target Newpark Mall before they closed). * Open pretty late all week. * Has the magical ability to have me walk in, woman on a mission with shopping list in hand, then walk out with bags full of things I never knew I needed but just had to have. I went in looking for a wedding gift for my coworker. I found and purchased a few items from the gift registry, BUT then I also picked up a 4 burner gas grill that I suddenly just HAD to have. Totally random, right? The security guard grabbed a flatbed cart and another employee to "team lift" that bad boy and then transported the grill to customer service while I continued shopping. Two other employees met me at customer service and accompanied me to my car in order to load it into the trunk. They waited patiently as I emptied out my trunk to make space. Such wonderful service! I love target, they have everything you could ever possibly need. I would have given this target more stars, but the photo center totally sucks. I waited, and waited and then someone had to hunt down an employee to help us. I've experienced better photo center service at other targets. Other than that, I can't get enough Target. I've bought something from just about every department at Target. I rarely have problems with target. read more

I'm a big big fan of Target!! This store is clean and neatly organized. I sometimes find myself getting mixed up with the other Target layouts elsewhere because I'm so used to coming to this location. I always find myself going for the red tag items and looking for good deals on electronics and beauty products. The staff here are helpful and considerate. A few times, some of them asked me if I was finding everything ok or how my day was going. I love how this store isn't as crowded as some of the Target stores I've been in. read more

This is my least favorite Target. Ever. But I'll still throw them 2 stars for convenience, when desperate. On *multiple* occasions, I have purchased food items here that turned out to be expired or spoiled (wtf?) and nearly stumbled over fallen non-perishable items that were just broken or spilling their contents onto the floor. No bueno. I also dislike the competitive parking scheme out front, courtesy of the Hub location. Unless you have a handicapped placard, good luck finding a decent spot during prime shopping hours. Shame on you, Target. Just finished picking up a few household items when one of your employees yelled "ISIS" as I was on my way out, probably because I am muslim and it's obvious because of my headscarf. Definitely not coming back to this location. In fact, Walmart is closer to my house. Expect that Target card to get cut up and thrown away, too. This is sad. I'm not a terrorist. I was born and raised in the U.S. and taught to love my country, respect others and despise hatred and extremism. This target is the best target around. It is located in the Fremont hub and it open later than any other target store that I know of. Heck, it freaking close at midnight. MIDNIGHT! This target is a decent size being that this is a 1 story target. They do have more than enough space so that when you walk around, you don't feel that the isles are so close to each other. This is definitely my go to target if I want to go shopping. read more

Target is target but I'm only giving this Target 3 stars because it is in such a big a$$ shopping center. First of all crawling through the shopping center looking for this store having to keep an eye out not to fender bender the car in front of me and keep the other eye out not to hit a loathing pedestrian in the 5:30 pm standard time midnight hour darkness made it somewhat difficult to find this store when I came in from Mowry East. and Target...WFT...my sister had planned to pay with her bank card and the display indicated nothing; rendering it impossible for her to see what she was paying for and the associated cost. Super squeaky clean restroom. There are 4 sinks, 2 toilets (1 wheel chair accessible), 2 urinal, 2 xcelerator hand dryer, and a diaper station. Let's just say this place does not have the cons of a walmart. *be careful of the sink, I thought it had too much psi that water got on me. read more

This location has one of the best grocery store you can find. I buy some of my Guittard Akoma semi sweet and milk chocolate chips here. So cheap because it is $2.89 a bag compared to Raley's, Safeway or Albertson- they are $3.89 to $3.49. Also great to buy a box of Ball mason jars for canning and preserving fruits, vegetables or anything that is culinary related. A case of 12-8 oz jars are $8.98 compared to Raley's - it's $11.99. I love how they have their own exclusive food products here. But the only thing they don't have are ice cream makers. read more

Customer Service = (-5 STARS) I came in to make a payment on my RedCard. 2 "BOYS" were assigned at the Customer Service area to handle returns, payments and etc. There was one person in front of me so the wait wasn't that long, but you can tell that they(employees) are so unhappy with what they do. When it was my turn I told the BOY i needed to make a payment. He said "How much?!" In an irritated tone. Okay, I understand you have a lot of go-backs and you probably don't have a lot of customers that come in to make a payment, but could u please at least be polite?! After my receipt printed he just handed it to me without even saying a "fake" THANK YOU!! And no eye contact, and called the next person in line before I was able to put my cards away. This store always has a negative vibe from employees. This is not the first time I've had this ugly experience. I only go to this target when I only need a couple items since it closer to me but any other time I will drive the extra distance to Pacifc Commons. This target always is low in stock on high demand items, disorganized and does not provided great customer service. I normally use self checkout and the lady who is mostly this is unfriendly and rude. Take the time to go Pacific Commons for a more pleasant experience. read more

I LOVE This Target. I have had the pleasure of running into floor managers Day Shift & Evening. I am probably here more than I should be but its hard to stay away when there are great sales going on. I believe the Day manager is Sharon and she's very helpful, and the evening manager (male) is helpful to when my cartwheel wasn't working. This Target is clean. One day when it was raining there was someone wiping off the carts, and that was very helpful. read more

Tonight I came in after work , hoping to get my customer credit after a incident that occurred almost a month ago . I went to guest services where then dealt with the manager Miguel and front manager Sabrina . Miguel assured me that he would give me a call back regarding my credit promised from the incident that had occurred. My name had not been put in the system or called back from cooperate after my complaint. But I was ok with him following up with me because he was very professional and helping in anyway possible. So I proceeded to purchase my items at a cash register and while in line he approached me with a gift card ! I was totally caught off guard because I figured no one believed me that I had a really bad experience almost a month ago and was promised a credit. He explained to me that he spoke with Sabrina and she recalled that day I called very upset about an employee who is no longer there. I really felt happy that they both took into consideration my feelings ! I currently Live in Hayward and come to this target in Fremont because I've always respected the customer service! Randa the cashier is a sweet heart I have ran into a couple times for the fitting rooms and she's always patient and willing to help in any way ! Thank you all for making me leave as a happy customer! I would rate 5 stars but 4 because sometimes the items are not stocked only reason why . Worst customer service. I bought this item and on May 10th and decided I didn't need it so I went to take it back 40 days later and the manager that looked like she got out of High School said I could not return it. I have spent thousands of dollars in this store and I will never return there again. They wouldn't even give me a gift card. I had the receipt. They suck! I just call customer service and they told me that if you purchased a item with your Target Card , you have up to 60 days to returned your item regardless what says on your receipt. This manager does not know what she is doing because I even told her that I used my Target card. She should know the policies if she is a manager. read more

We went to the electronic department looking for help with phone cards at 9pm and was told all the technical staffs were off at 8pm. The staff told us to come back tomorrow as the technical staffs will be there at 8am. We went again the next morning at 9am and was told by another staff the technical staffs come in at 10am instead. I love Target, just like everyone else. I however do not like this Target. I'm not sure how their restocking crew work here but you go there and you mostly see empty shelves. I have gone here several times and there is a high chance that they don't have what I am looking for. Mind you these items are random, not like highly demanded products. TARGET brand has lost trust since they had online security hacked few years ago. TARGET prices much more expensive. They seem to put dollar shop items at premium prices. Seems like people behind the business, don't want to compromise their compensations. In recent online order experience, an associate was not attentive and handed over incomplete order, and didn't check also. I think stores can do better to ensure that masks are worn properly and at all times. I know it is hard for businesses to have the extra duty of ensuring that customers are not acting like dumb germ factories. Target is a nice store to purchase the items of One's Choice. The store is nice and tidy. But I wish they had more merchandise. Such as a shoe section the underclothes purses. In a way it's kind of like a smaller version of a nicer Walmart. I have had no problem buying anything at any of the targets. But one thing I would caution as to not go in that store wearing red why because people mistake you for employees and they're constantly asking you for Price checks which I think is funny. There's only one floor and everything can be found on that floor. This target comparatively is small and has little bit of electronics, grocery etc. But this place is good for women and children. Sometimes, I try to make a purchase online and pick up from this store as I live very close to this store. But most of the times it was not available for pickup as the item was available in the store. The prices are average compared to other stores. read more

Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces around the Target area. I always find one without any problems. Bathroom: The ladies' room has been a disappointment. It was dirty and messy when I was there a few times. Selection of items: I have been disappointed with this Target. They do not have the Vanilla Light Silk Milk. The Banquet items are very limited as well. This store does not have any Dreyer's Mocha Almond Fudge ice cream either. Note: Indeed, you will need to bring a reusable bag in the store. If not, you can always carry the items out or leave them in your shopping cart until you get to your car. read more

This is my home away from home! I don't know what it is about target that makes me so happy. I purposely don't buy everything I need for the week so I can go back. I know I'm not the only one who does! Targets awesome! The Fremont hub seems to be my favorite Target location. I live across the street from this branch. I don't go in there anymore because a few years ago I bought an electronic toothbrush for $100 that didn't work at all. Store policy was exchange only. They wouldn't give me my money back. So don't make any large purchases unless you enjoy rape. read more

The target was very organized and clean and I much prefer to shop at target since they have very good quality stuff that are also in trend. I came here to buy a gift for a cousin and I ended up buying much much more. I enjoy shopping here but I can never control myself. In addition, their customer service is very helpful and she was able to find the right watch for my cousin very quickly and efficiently by quickly contacting other fellow employees. One thing to remember here is to always bring your own bag or pay the 10 cents fee for a new one. I will be back at target very soon. read more

This is just a bit better than Walmart, which isn't saying much. I don't mind Target stores; it's just shopping in this particular branch is more frustrating than others. It's just one customer service fail after the other. 1. the people who invites you to sign up for their Target card right by the entrance needs to know when to BACK. OFF. When I politely decline and starts to walk away, they actually do follow you before you get too far and would demand, "Why not?" and then proceed with the many benefits that I could be missing out on. Are you guys on commission? Y'all are so aggressive. 2. Assign people that are at least a little bit knowledgeable in their area. Or give them proper training. Or better yet, just don't hire people who are incredibly incompetent. Went to the Electronics section and asked the associate manning the desk where I can find a mouse. She looked shocked and asked if I meant a mouse, as in the rodent. What? I didn't know that I should specify computer mouse, because I'm in the freaking Electronics department and not in a pet shop or pest control company. Then when she led me to their very few selection, and I asked if these are backward compatible with a much older Windows OS, she proceeded to say, "Yes, this has a backward button". I said Windows XP. And she looked at the specs and said, "Yes, it says it's ok for Windows 10 and later". Woman, you are so high. I suppose I could have saved myself the trouble by reading stuff for myself, but I'm holding on to a lot of items (I picked up more items than what I initially wanted to buy). Which brings me to asking same lady if there are available carts or baskets around. Obviously, I need one. And Employee of the Year just says they're in the front. Thanks for not offering to at least look for a basket, because you know, I'm not struggling here. Also, you might want to stop looking at your friend's phone when a customer (me) is right there in front of you waiting for you to ring up my damn purchases. Waited another 8 minutes for our paid order to arrive from "The backroom" Point is don't expect to get faster device even though you purchased something online to pick at the store. This review is for the mobile store in Target Fremont. I had the best cell phone upgrade experience in Target yesterday. Raj the sales associate at Target guided use through the options and he had good advice on what plan we should pick. We ended up getting a Samsung Galaxy S5 and also he told us the buy back options from Target for our old iphone. This was a great service. I would highly recommend this place over the AT&T store or even Best Buy. read more
