The staff was friendly and guided me patiently through the paperwork and process. What really stood out to me, however, was the the young optometrist Dr. Justin Hart. I have been to many eye doctors and none have ever taken the time to really examine and address all of the concerns I had with my vision, let alone explain them to me. I never once felt rushed, nor made to feel like an eye hypochondriac. At the end of the exam, I was given several options that would provide long term improvements to my vision and reduction in eye strain. All of the staff came across as extremely patient and the level of care I received was more than I would have ever expected. The bar has been raised.

After a short wait the doctor came in smiling, introduced herself, and reviewed my history and symptoms before beginning the exam. She explained every step clearly and compassionately, even apologizing before using a bright light in my painful eyes. Dr. Alaina Lavine went above and beyond. Her calm confidence and clear explanations immediately eased my fear, and her gentle bedside manner made a painful situation bearable. I am deeply thankful for the time she took to listen, the care she showed while diagnosing bilateral corneal ulcers, and the thorough treatment plan she prescribed. Her follow-up scheduling and genuine concern for my recovery reassured me that I was in the best hands. I can't express enough gratitude for her expertise and kindness. She prescribed medicated drops and scheduled a follow-up for Monday (I was seen on a Friday). The combination of Dr. Lavine's exceptional care and the attentive team convinced me I've found my new eye doctor. I'll be getting my eye exam, contacts, and glasses here because the entire staff was that caring and professional. They were closing had a quick trip so I wasn't able to get back before this week, but my Life would have it that I was working in the area so it worked out just fine.. had a pair of sunglasses that last year got knocked off the counter unbeknown to me. They were so classic. They still had a glass lens versus plastic and needed a specialty optician to assist me. Jerry was working, looked at them and immediately,knew CC how he could help?. he told me he could have them ready in 2 1/2 hours. Mind you I have held them in my eyeglass holder at my in my car for over one year.. The price was within normal limits. And a sidenote, I needed a screw for some other work eyewear and these are also specialty and although they could not assist me with those it wasn't because they didn't try. Everyone treated me very kindly. The exam process was a bit of a pain. They have this test that they blow air into your eyes that I did not like. Because I kept blinking during this process, they red flagged me as possibly having glaucoma and immediately wanted me to see a specialist. Dr. Valdez wanted me to see a specialist immediately, but NV Eye Surgery said it could wait a day. Her response to that was, "Well, it's their problem now!", and laughed. That along with being consulted on new glasses by someone who clearly wasn't properly trained yet, and trying to sell me extremely expensive glasses and then later telling me they had more affordable options "in the back" makes me hesitant to come back here. I'm actually considering going elsewhere to get my glasses after this experience, especially after NV Eye Surgery completely cleared me of having glaucoma. What a bad first experience. Two stars only because I was at least happy with how clean and professional the place looked overall.

Honestly, I couldn't have asked for better care. Today I went to pick up my glasses 10 minutes before closing time , and the provider didn't leave before making sure I was assisted, she was literally walking out the door and still took the time to make sure I was okay. She told me to take my time, listened to everything that had happened, and told me to come in and that they would make it right. That alone meant so much to me. I went back to my eye doctor three times while we worked through adjustments to my prescription, and Valle Verde replaced my lenses twice without making me feel like I was a problem. Skye kept telling me to come back if something still wasn't right and that they would keep working with me until I was satisfied. And they did. To be quite honest, I might just start coming to this location from now on, I liked it that much. The space is large and there is a lot of room to walk around freely, especially if you are browsing the glasses. The patient rooms are also larger, with a chair if you have someone with you at your appointment. This goes for the testing rooms too. It wasn't as hot in these ones compared to the other location because it was bigger with more space and a nice oscillating fan. Checking into our appointments was super easy and we didn't have to wait long to be called back. The doctor I saw was absolutely fantastic. She was easy to talk to and understood my eye issues immediately. My husband also saw her and he said the same thing. Checking out was super easy. The only issues I have are the CC fee (which I understand but don't have to like) and there could be more seating for people who are waiting for appointments.
