I was here this morning around 10 am, when i was struggling to find energy drinks this lovely guy I believe his name was anthony approached me and asked me if i was doing alright, I was going to say yes but I really couldn't find where the energy drinks where and since he was already by the drink section I just took his offer and let him help me. I was super impressed by his politeness and his way of customer service. I have never had such great experience at a target before and i just want to thank him and target cooperation for hiring such wonderful people as him!! I placed a drive up pick up for Saturday, to take to Visala, CA for my Mom who is battling lung and liver cancer, that traveled from her uterus and appendix... i was missing over 7 items and didn't realize it until I was 200 miles away! In Woodlake, CA. I have documented on the target app three times and I was missing certain items. But the app does not allow you to document for Lipsticks and there were 4 revlon colorstay lipsticks not given to me. I received an out of stock notice for only one of the lipsticks. I was also missing an 8 pack of Gatorade, a six pack of powerade and 2 packs of Knorr Spinach dip, and an eyelash curler. I tried calling the store five times and no matter which department I select to speak to the call disconnects after the selection. I can NOT believe I was missing soo many items. I am using this service because I have two parents fighting for their lives and am trying to spend my free time with them. read more

I like this Target in particular because the customer service has been consistently good. I'm seriously just right down the street so I come here all the time and I've never encountered bad customer service. I also appreciate that everything is usually very clean, organized, and stocked. If there was something I wasn't able to find, a team member would definitely offer to help me look. Athina one of the cashiers was just so rude! We let her know we had already placed the card in the reader and nothing was happening. Athina rudely replied, " I can't see the screen". Obviously this is why we let her know, and instead of turning on her light to call a GSTL over Athina looked around, as if they knew she needed help. Smh... read more

I really like this new Target. I'd like to congratulate them for the way they organized the Black Friday. They did a really great job! First of all, it wasn't crowded as I expected. They served snacks and give coupons to people waiting in line outside! Once inside, they had very clear, easy to follow rules, so I was able to easily get all the items I wanted. Also, all the employees were smiling, helpful, and friendly, showing that they really love to work there, so they probably have nice managers there :) A+ for this new location! I just wish all the Target locations would follow their example. read more

I usually frequent this Target location on a weekly basis for home supplies and groceries. What can I say... It's an all-in-one store/supermarket! I come in and go. No hassles. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This trip around, while I was completing my transaction at the register, my credit card was declined... Several times. Turns out my card was flagged for fraudulent activity. A line was beginning to form behind me. I immediately started to perspire (and yes, the people waiting in line noticed this too). As I wiped my forehead, the feeling of embarrassment started to overwhelm me. One of the sale associates, Marjorie, assisted me with my situation, by putting my items at the Guest Services section, while I called my credit card company to straighten things out. Since I had groceries too, Marjorie informed me she had to re-shelve the cold item perishables. To my surprise, she had listed down every item on paper for me to use as reference. After the whole credit debacle, I reclaimed my items and re-shopped for my groceries and completed my transaction. You can say I left a satisfied customer. I just want to give Marjorie kudos for going above and beyond for helping me when she could've just left me hanging high and dry. She saved me a trip from coming back again. She definitely deserves employee of the month. read more

I bought a phone here last week and was very pleased with the level of service I received from their cellphone team member. I never thought that Target would be a place to buy a cellphone but I was in the electronics department looking at the cellphones when a Target team member asked if I needed help then answered all of my many questions. Who knew Target would have such knowledgeable staff! read more

This target is relatively new and is pretty clean and organized compared to other targets. I especially like it because it's less crowded and there are shorter lines to the pharmacy and optometry. The store, in terms of organization, has the dollar items right when you walk in and on the right hand side is where the pharmacy and optometry are located. It's also really near a bunch of other stores in the plaza, which makes it really convenient. read more

Second time I got scanned for more items than I bought! I know it's still a new target but they should train their employees better! I even told him to double check since he seemed absent minded while scanning when I asked him how often the 1$ section gets restocked (he didn't know). They are nice enough but I will be sure to pay attention during checkout next time instead of engaging in conversation! read more

Would give this target a 5 star But the parking is bad. Well if your a owner of a eco friendly car or handicap parking its a breeze. Be prepared to walk. The store is great seeming its new. Its in a great location .can't wait for all the other stores to open. read more

Someone at this Target needs to learn how to empty a trash and sweep. Every single time I come to this Target, we buy a slurpy for my daughter and every single time the trash at the Cafe is overflowing, there are wrappers all over place by the slurpy machine and the floor is a mess. This is the dirtiest Target I have ever seen! read more

ORDER PICKUP VERY SLOW It's a target, not unlike other targets in the area. I do wish they had a separate pickup area. East target failed me with a stock discrepancy online vs in store so I hoped I wouldn't have to wait long if I ordered my item at the south location for pickup. However, they were severely understaffed at the front desk and Leo must have been busy in the back but waiting 15 minutes for someone, this time Leo, to retrieve the order is not ideal, especially when you're not flexible with time. I debated purchasing the item again since I could walk to grab the item within 30 seconds... but they finally came through. Maybe target should urge their employees to be a bit smoother in that department. Or maybe the the problem was that there weren't enough people in the back and front of guest services. Or maybe they just don't have a good system. Either way, a 15 minute wait when you're the only pickup is less than ideal and now I'm upset and in a crabby mood. read more

Very happy with this store in general, and glad to have it so close to home! A couple of issues, however: 1. I purchased a small package of steaks a few weeks ago. When I opened the package, the meat smelled a bit "off". Chemical odor and over-the-hill smell. I tried cooking it, but found that the meat was over-salted and seemed to have lots of chemical additives. The other grocery items at this store are fine, but no more meat for me. 2. Cellular phone. We've been using T-Mobile for years and are very happy with our basic pre-paid plan. I decided that it would be handy to have a "smart phone', so purchased a Sansung G3 at Target with the idea of switching over to their "Bright Spot" program. The sales guy setting it up entered my home phone rather than my cell phone number, and I was on the phone for two weeks trying to get the number returned to Comcast. The store was totally unhelpful and non-cooperative. I finally managed to have my number restored, but forget "Bright Spot". I paid $35 for a Bright Spot prepaid card, but was told - a bit rudely - that the amount could not be refunded once the card was activated...in spite of the fact that I had not used it at all. The store did refund a $9.00 charge for the SIM card - also never used. These have been my only negative experiences with this Target store - or others. A bit disappointing, but I understand that the phone sales folks may not actually be Target employees. Not good for the store's image in any case. read more

Second time I've gotten hosed at this store. I wanted to pick up a couple of bottles of Nuka cola quantum for my son for Christmas, it's a soda associated the the video game Fallout 4. I called the store and was told that they would have the cola on the shelves on 12/14. I got to the store before 8:00 am, walked in and they told me that they don't have anymore. I saw an employee walking out with 3 cases and when I told the floor manager, he didn't care. This is the second time this has happened to me with this same product at this store. It's obvious that they care more about their employees then there customers. Hopefully, this is not a systemic problem at Target or they're going to loose me as s customer. read more

Worst customer service ever. Unable to help with registries when printer is down.....I call it lack of interest for business/laziness

I normally love this target and never have any problems but I'm very disappointed with my experience I had the other day. I was in the checkout line my son didn't want to go back in his stroller so I was holding him one handed. The checkout clerk named Chris did not great me, okay whatever he checked me out and not once asked me if I was interested in a target card(I'm pretty sure they are suppose to do this) he did not tell me my total I had to look at the screen to see what it was. Then the card reader wasn't working and when I asked him if I should slide it he ignored me. It eventually worked and I went to grab my stuff. As I'm grabbing my stuff he starts to check out the next person and just places her items on top of mine. Mind you I'm holding my son so I'm taking my items one handed I didn't think I was taking that long, but the clerk Chris glares at me like I'm inconveniencing him for taking a little long grabbing my stuff. I apologized to the women who's stuff got put on top of mine and she said it was fine meanwhile Chris the clerk keeps glaring at me, I quickly threw my stuff in my sons stroller and walked away because I felt so un welcomed. I spent $100+ you would think he would be a little nicer. I'm very disappointed in this target and you should get some of your employees in check. read more

I go to this Target a lot to do target runs because of the walmart that had closed down 2 years ago. This place is my favorite Target place in San Jose because the other customers are friendly and the employees are even friendlier. Something that caught my attention is that Sunday's and Saturday's are the busiest days of the week when I shop there, especially the afternoon or night wave of customers and having to find trouble parking close to the entrance of the store. I love this Target because when the lines are too long I would hear the GSTL's calling out to get more workers in the front to keep up with the rising lines of guests. The store is great and is very well organized with today's fashion trends and big grocery section compared to other targets. The other favorite part of the shopping experience is that the workers there are young and are able to easily understand when I ask them about a question and answer the best they can. Although they may always have to advertise the red card to us, I just finally got the urge to get one. So I got the debit red card and there was no fee's and was way better than having to hear about the red card stuff and I still get that 5% and is hooked to my debit card, because I usually just use my debit card to pay anyways. read more

I shop every Monday at the target on Cottle and I am getting tired of them the shelves are never stocked. This past Monday the shelves were empty. There was no one around to ask for anything. This means I have to go to another target. Why is the store on blossom hill stocked and not this one. The lines are long and not enough cashiers. I am glad that this target is open late but they really need to work on their customer service. Went there last night around 11 pm to grab a gift card and some toddler outfits. Asked couple of employees where the toddler outfits/swim wear would be and she said she look around toddle section. Browsing through toddle section didn't see much so asked another employee of they More stuff anywhere else. She replied no that's all. Kids section was so disorganized and I wasn't offered any help. Then I go to cashier and I could tell she was ready to go home. She cashed and rushed us and then when she gave me my card back she said "here you go" in the rudest tone. Jeez I know it's almost time to go home but what happened to thank you or something, not just slam my card on my hand and "here you go". Definitely need to improve on their customer service. read more

This is the worst Target I've been to. Rude customer service, if you even want to call it that. Nothing on the shelves half the time. Parking is awful and I've witnessed a police stake out there and a car which was burned and left in lot for weeks?! I drive 8 miles to the one a few towns over to avoid this one. Going to the Target in Harlem NYC is a more enjoyable experience. read more

Not my favorite Target by far but it's close to home so sometimes I'm just too lazy to drive further. The parking lot is always busy and the spots are pretty small. This is coming from a Prius driver fyi. Inside it's the same story. There's lot of people but luckily they usually have a lot of registers open so checking out goes by fast. The store is big and new so that's really the biggest benefit of shopping here. read more

The staff here is very friendly and accommodating, honesty this one and the one at the Plant would be the best targets, even if I have to drive across town. So I was looking for speakers in the Electronic department, I didn't get his name, but the sales guy and phone guy was super nice and helpful. Also got a yoga mat, it was mispriced they were glad to help me. Only downside here is parking is a little harder to find. Other than that, I can't really ask for more at a Target store. read more

This is a new Target that just opened up across the way from Bill's Cafe. It's just like any other Target but I feel this Target hasn't reached it capacity just quite yet. I felt like they didn't really have as much variety or stock of stuff just quite yet. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, it was clean and it looked just like any other Target. The whole Plaza that it's in isn't finished being built yet but I'm sure once it is, it will pull in a nice amount of crowd in there. read more

I came here for the first time yesterday. I hadn't felt up for dealing with the hustle and bustle of the oakridge target. The parking wasn't ideal but there is obvious construction still going on. It was busy but it didn't take that much time to find park and I don't mind walking a few feet to get to the front door. :) once in I was greeted and asked if I needed help locating anything. This place is huge. Their party selection is super organized an on point. I initially stopped for a target optical appointment and peeked through the NYX Cosmetics, directly across from the optical center and it is STACKED with the latest stuff. If I could give this store no stars, I would. WiFi is terrible here. More than not, I'm unable to use the Cartwheel app here. If by some lucky chance I can, it is laggy. I'm sick and tired of not being able to use my additional Cartwheel savings. I'm also tired of having to keep mentioning this to the employees and managers. I should mention that I do not have the connectivity issues I have here at other Target stores. Food items are poorly stocked here. I'm sure there are a number of reasons why inventory might not be on the shelves and I can overlook it most of the time. It's a minor annoyance. What I cannot forgive however, is the poor and lazy customer service I experienced there today after an item I wanted to buy wouldn't scan at the register. I was asked if I knew how much the item was, which I couldn't remember as there were a bunch of other items I was purchasing. You cannot expect me to remember the exact price of everything I am buying. A manager was called over and he ballparked the price of my item to be $6. Thinking that might be high, I objected and asked that they go find the item and do a price check or get a same brand and scan that. Nobody moved. No effort was made to call another employee to do a price check. I mean... come on! I said, "If you won't do that, I will." I did their freaking job. I went all the way to the other end of the store and grabbed the same brand with a different barcode. As I walked back to the register, of course the Cartwheel app wasn't working properly. After several restarts, I was able to scan it which came to less than $5 and not only that, there was a $2 off coupon! This store needs training and they need to put a heck of a lot more effort into their customer services, improving their WiFi and more. This store has finally dropped the ball. It's been coming for some time now. read more

Like a dream come true! I've been waiting for something like this in this neighborhood so that I wouldn't have to drive to Oakridge all the time which is a pain in itself. Having a target with a grocery store is so convenient and being able to walk to do my shopping is wonderful! There is some concern about the parking but we'll see how that pans out....
