This target is the most clean target of anyone. The online shoping wasnt too bad it was ready in last then a hour. Custmer service pick up is in the wrong spot. Food snack has limited list . the shop is good causs shevels are stocked. Only down side i saw there was alot group people just talking. Don't fall for the sale on their 32" TV, for some reason, may be illegal, these 32" tv's don't have any serial numbers??? If you buy one & try to return it, they say they need the serial number & there is none, so you are stuck with it!! Sounds criminal to me!! They have a great variety of things and a lot of good deals. I liked the big variety of gluten free frozen foods they have. Even better than other grocery stores. I just think they need to have more security at the front of the store those panhandlers in front of the store freak me out every time I go the store. The parking lot is a kind of dirty too lots of litter all over the place. It is a mix of neighborhood store with the feeling of downtown because of the panhandlers. I hope they put some order in front of the store. read more

This Target is unbelievably crowded. All day and even at 9pm at night. Lines are always long. Parking lot is scary, accidents waiting to happen. Expect the crowd if you can get parking. read more

OMG! This Target has an OPTICAL and does eye exam! Sweet! The doctor took me in on the spot and was in and out in 20 minutes. Best exam ever and informative too. Can't beat the price too. Bought me-self some Rayban suns and some cute Coach frames. The staff is fun and entertaining and Joy is outrageous. Not to mention the price is affordable, I got 2 pairs and under $400. VERY POOR EXPERIENCE WITH TARGET. Be careful when you visit this store. They have heavy boxes stacked on higher shelves (that too in aisle facing shelves) without any restraints. During one of our visits, an almost 50lbs box fell on my daughter causing bruises and trauma to her back. Since then we have tried to get in touch with several different people at Target to see what actions will they take to prevent recurrence of such issues but have been extremely disappointed with their lack of responsiveness. We have reached out to the following people so far but none of them have responded or helped. Brian C. Cornell, Chairman and CEO; John J. Mulligan, Executive VP and CFO; Paige Guttormson, Sedgwick (Target sent us to this third party when asked who we could speak with); Ron Cook, Sedgwick (Paige Guttormson's supervisor); Bianka E., Store Manager of the Target store where the incident took place. We continue to get the run around from everyone at Target. Any calls made go to voicemail and the folks listed above do not respond. Even land mail sent has not been acknowledged. I am quite surprised by how Target is shirking responsibility when they make tall claims about being a store that demonstrates strong social responsibility. Ask anyone, I'm ever so slightly obsessed with Target. It's my go-to store for pretty much anything in my life. And I'm SO EXCITED to finally have a target close to me in South San Jose! Almost every review so far has given the actual store a great review and then spoken negatively about the parking situation. Maybe I'm lucky, but I've never had an issue with parking so far. Yes, I do think the insane amount of spots for low emission vehicles is a bit excessive (they basically have their own parking lot) and yes I have most certainly seen many vehicles parked in these spots that are definitely not low emission. But once the construction finishes and the entire lot opens up I don't think parking will be an issue for people anymore. As far as the actual store goes, it's beautiful inside! It's very well stocked and I've never been inside a Target before where the staff is so cheerful, helpful, and just HAPPY!! Every time I go in there I'm greeted by at least 5 different employees during the course of my shopping. I'm especially impressed with the garden section. They have such an impressive collection of solar lights! Some Target have such a small garden section so this part of this target is especially impressive. But like I said, very clean, very well stocked, and VERY friendly! read more

Bunch of lazy people that work here. They are very unprofessional especially some lady named Jen at the customer service area refuse to take a return and it was not even closing time yet. She has brown hair and a fast paced environment she should at least fix her hair, appearance and attitude. She was extremely rude and doesn't apologize for her actions and how she treats customers. Earlier today she even was being unprofessional by the cash register and pretended to kick some Asian guy in the balls and that is inappropriate for a retail store. She thought it is funny to be obnoxious but it is not. There was another lady earlier in the month she was being loud about her personal problems from home talking about her family sucks and she was shoving cart shopping carts all over the store. I thought during those orientation as they teach you to leave your problems at home and don't bring it to work. Even though this target is the closest one to me thank you but no thank you I'd rather go all the way to Walmart or another target. Unless they hire more professional employees there I don't think I want to shop here with these type of actions that I've seen here. Also beware of the parking lot is extremely sketchy. They got a bunch of Homeless people on drugs hanging around. They need to improve the parking lot that is extremely dangerous. read more

Okay, so they fixed the parking situation - all annoyances are gone. Looks like they trimmed the FEV/Hybrid parking from around 30 to about 5-6 which is totally cool. Go environment :) I had actually heard that there were quite a few complaints. Its says a lot that a big company like Target is able to take feedback from their customers. Now only the positives remain,... big, bright, clean store, and friendly folks. Can't ask for anything more from your friendly neighborhood Target. read more

I was so excited to see they were opening up a new Target in my neighborhood as I shop there all the time! Of course my excitement was short lived after the horrible customer service I received for their store manager Brad. I have no idea how he became store manager but he clearly has no idea how to give even decent customer service. He was cocky, rude and spoke to me in a condescending tone as if I was a child! I understand they have certain store policies when it comes to returns but when I mentioned my experience to a manager at a different target she was so apologetic and explained how as manager you can override certain things which she did for me. Brad couldn't even do as much as apologize or offer to help me carry my huge return item back to my car seeing as how I was struggling with that AND a baby. I will not be shopping here anymore unless they hire a different store manager who knows how to offer good customer service. So disappointed!!! read more

Called the store because the web site said there was an item in stock (which usually isn't correct). I called the store and spoke with Bill in the electronics department he said the product was there and I told him that I would be there as soon as possible. When I got there Bill was very helpful and guided me through the process with expert knowledge. While waiting I spoke with several other customers that just happened to be off duty Target employees. This was/is a completely comfortable environment and will continue to make this my store to shop at. Keep up the GREAT work Cottle Target "team"!!! read more

I love this target because it is so much closer to me than the target at the mall. The customer service is wonderful. I have always been helped with a smile. I love that there is everything you could ever need there, from groceries, to clothes and cleaning products. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. The only hard part is finding a parking spot, but other than that, it's a wonderful place! read more

Man who doesnt love target. I was so excited because this is only a block away from where I live; meaning I dont need to go all the way to the plant or oakridge. Everything is so clean and new. The starbucks in this location looks really sophisticated, even nicer than the real starbucks shops. Electronics blew me away. I never expected that to be in a target store. Staff are very helpful and polite. Each time I go there, I get greeted by 3 random Target associates walking around fixing things, asking if they could help me find anything. At other branches, its a challenge finding an employee. Hope the good customer service sticks around & not just because its a newly opened branch. Parking sucked the first few times I went there, like others stated, but the last time I went they had removed all the Hybrids only signs, which is great because I was just about to buy a hybrid car just to get some parking there, lol. read more

Customer service is fantastic! I was there only 10min and three different people asked if I needed help. I know this store is brand spanking new, but I sure hope the service stays the same! I have yet to have a bad experience in any target. This particular Target is extremely close to my house which makes it convenient. If you are ordering online for an in store pickup the Target Team Members typically have you order ready within a half hour to an hour. Shelves can be tossed around a little bit during the Holiday but the team members are usually on top of things to get the shelves cleaned up. There are always plenty of open cash registers to get everyone through the lines at an efficient pace. There is also a food court and a Starbucks inside of this location. Last but not least they have curbside pick up for those of you who utilize the service. read more

Love this Target!! Manager Bryant & Bianca is so nice. My friend and I were at the Target at Oakridge mall and the idiot manager over there said my friend and I can't do separate transaction because we each had one identical target coupon because "we came together in one car." No joke. Tried to explain to him what household means but he is too stupid to get it. I got mad and went to cottle. The manager gave us a gift card and apologized. I boycott the Oakridge target ever since. This target is farther but the service has always been consistently wonderful. Plus the store is always well stocked and clean. I coupon so the things I go for is sometime out of stock, but their associates always offer to look for inventory at other stores. read more

I was really impressed by the way this Target managed the Lilly Pulitzer sale on Sunday. The manager (didn't get his name but he was very kind) let us stand inside the store before it opened at 8 am because it was so freezing inside. He also got everyone carts and told us ahead of time where the items were. The people stocking the inventory were also super sweet and helpful, asking what I needed (and how many of that item) and putting it in my cart for me. The girls that did the checkout were also great and friendly. Overall a great experience and totally worth the 22 mile drive from my place in Mtn View. read more

I really really wanted to like this store, but the last two times have been a big disappointment. The last time I went I had 7 items ring up wrong. ( Higher than they should have ) I also had items that should have earned me a $5 gift card. it would not ring up right and I had to have a manager come over and approve it. She acted like I was trying to pull one over on her and wouldn't go check the item. Eventually she gave me the card. Making your customers feel like a thief because you are too lazy to check a price is not a good way to keep customers. This happened several month ago. Today I finally decided to give them a 2nd chance. This time I was trying to buy a few cleaning supplies and garbage bags. There was once again $5 gift card offered if you purchased two boxes of them. Problem was there was only one box on the shelf. I walked around for a good 10 minutes trying to find someone who could check and see if there were any more in back. I finally found someone and he told me that was the only box. I asked if the others had been sold and he said, no that is the only box . When I asked how you were supposed to get the $5 gift card if they only have one box to sell, he laughed. I said that sounds a lot like bait and switch and he laughed again and said yes it is.I commented that this is the kind of thing that gets you bad reviews on Yelp. He could have cared less. Just laughed. No apology just said I could go to another store.When it was clear that I was pissed he walked off. I will not be back and I will be sharing on FB. SHAME ON TARGET!!!! read more
