I really like this location. The electronics department in has phones from Google, Samsung and Motorola instead of being exclusively Apple. They also had a great selection of games. Thomas in electronics was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient and helpful, particularly in helping us choose the right items. I love this place. I pick up my parents' prescriptions here and never have a problem. The pharmacist is very nice and helpful. Usually, a prescription that is dropped off is ready within minutes or very little wait. I have had a couple of negative things happen. I have to remind the staff about my cvs card and the transaction is processed so quickly that I an not given the opportunity. When I reminded the staff he gave me the bag and said "oh well there's next time." One other drawback, this location closes pretty early compared to the other target location @ the market place (Jamboree). read more

Store severely out of stock compared to neighboring stores. Staff do not greet, make eye contact or offer any help at all. Worst morale I have ever seen at a Target. Cashier lines were backed up and cashiers were incredibly slow. Cashier did not great or thank us at all. No words were exchanged. Customer service manager got called due to an issue in an adjacent lane where she left the poor cashier hanging walked away and just watched. Really sad when the local Wal-Mart provides a better experience. This store really needs a visit by management, and some secret shoppers. read more

Compared to all other Targets, this has got to be the daddy-o of all Targets. I was impressed. I wandered in there around 11am and it was empty. I love it. All the staff members were standing around greeting customers. I was near the pharmacy and the pharmacist even came out to help me locate an item. Then, he presented me with a bag of goodies. How awesome is that? He told me that they haven't officially opened yet and that the official opening was on July 29th. Right now it's a soft opening. He asked me how I liked it so far. I said "Great cuz there's no one here!!" LOL The store is laid out a little differently with the beauty section before the other sections. I'm used to it the other way around. Still, it was so cool because it was brand new and everything was in its rightful place and everything was neatly stacked. I think I'll be coming to this Target from now on even though the one off Barranca is slightly closer. BTW the bag of goodies was a lot more than I had expected. We came here because my friend needed some nursing tanks and I needed some cheap dress clothes. We had an hour to kill before our next engagement and since we both needed things and this was close to where we were going, it was kinda perfect. This Target is huge and away from some of the craziness that is The District. There's plenty of parking and we were able to find what we needed in the time frame we had. The clothes weren't exactly cheap but the quality was pretty good - just what I needed to get the job done for about a month or so. All in all, not bad for what I wanted and needed. read more

My husband and I call this Target location the "nicer" Target. We refer to the one closer to us (Barranca and Culver location) as the "ghetto" one. Anyway, this Target store is definitely one of the nicer and larger ones around. The items on the shelves are not all disheveled and are neatly lined up. This place also seems to re-stock their supplies more often since I rarely have issue finding my "regulars" (toiletries, feminine products, household items, etc). The employees did a very poor job of managing the self-checkout line. It was extremely unclear where it even started and people were cutting the line left and right. There was an employee and a manager dedicated to monitoring the line and they just stood there deadpan and did nothing to keep it in order. Simple stuff like this makes a big difference, and it's frustrating when the employees don't care enough to put in any effort. read more

Like I mentioned in previous reviews, I like Target! I especially like this one as it seems to be new, or newly remodeled. The space is very well lit and the fixtures aren't jammed up close together that you can't maneuver around without getting caught on one. I especially enjoyed that the men's apparel section was neat, organized and clearly labeled. Not to mention the specials on the already marked down clearance items. Tops for $3, IMO can't be beat. I'm a long time fan of Target stores, be it in a shady 'hood or a fancy shi-shi town. However, one busy afternoon after work, time stood (almost) still...in this one spot on earth. This is RUSH HOUR, people! Why do you only have 4 check stands open? Also, they need to tell the cashiers forget about trying to sell Target debit/credit cards if they are short-handed. There are actually jerks who decide to ask 50 questions about them as people lined up behind them become increasingly irate. When new checkstands open, guess who benefits? Not the people who have already been in line waiting...it's those people who just got to the lines and shimmy right on by to the newly opened cashier. Meanwhile, I realized the guy working our line moved as slow as molasses. Even the simple act of turning to pull the receipt off the printer took three times slower than normal. The speed at which he scanned items drove me nuts. Have you seen the employees next door at Costco?! This Target needs better protocol on how to deal with busy time which includes training their managers to be more well-prepared. One person rushed to the checkout area, flanked by a few lackeys doing nothing and finally radioed for help (1 checkstand opened). As if she had to witness the lines in person to do something about them! Needless to say, I will think twice about coming to this store again. (I still love my other Target stores!) read more

I used to love this Target. I truly did! If it wasn't for my last visit, I'd give them 4/5 stars. But my last trip to this Target, my mother and I were the target (no pun intended) of a robbery in the parking lot. We went back inside to ask for their help. It was not a violent robbery but what they stole from my mother (ya know license, glasses, breathing medications, etc) was a little important. We thought maybe someone had gotten ahold of her purse and turned it into Target. We were giving them descriptions and an employee was laughing at us. I love the ease and efficiency of the Tustin Target staff drive up. They always get my order right and they are attentive to my needs. I tell my friends, who are still in need of covid distancing, that Target is 100% the place to shop to be safe and get the best prices. The app is so easy to use and you can decide to change your pick up to drive up if needed. This location is keeping brick and mortar still relevant. They're able to keep prices competitive with online rivals and have everything that you're looking for most of the time. But I would say that it's their service that motivated me to leave this review. Every time I do self checkout here, I'm met with the most helpful, polite and patient employees. Same goes with the floor assistants and other employees. Target, if you're listening, keep selecting these wonderful individuals. I can only imagine that the reason they're so incredible is because you treat them well. The district and its parking lot on the other hand must have been designed by sadists. read more

This Target is by no means a bad store, however just personally, I've seen this location hit rock bottom since the pandemic. One deterioration has been the cleanliness of the store, mostly in the restrooms. Understandably, Target cares about the safety of its employees. We spoke to the Manager, Kevin, and he informed us that staff is no long cleaning restrooms because of the health hazard. Totally get that. However, on Target's part, I think it's REPULSIVE to expect their customers to bear these health hazards that Target recognizes as dangerous to their employees. While in the restroom today, I witnessed more than just me walk out without using a stall because of the health hazards. Target, please find a way to fix this issue. It's all the little things that really add up to a consistent and epic FAIL for me. For example, I came in to the Pharmacy to get some prescriptions filled & sure enough- they did not have them. I asked if they could contact other Targets, and I got the same response. This is the fifth time this has happened with different prescriptions. The Pharmacist did not even offer to order them for me. This was especially frustrating for me because it took me a really long time to navigate through the overcrowded parking lot & forever just to find a parking spot- just to leave empty handed. I'd have to say, this is probably my favorite Target to goto. It's pretty big compared to the one on Culver (Irvine). Its clean and stuff is where its supposed to be. I entered this Target ready for some serious shopping for an upcoming trip and one of my kids needed the bathroom so we stopped there first and OMG I've seen rest stop, beach and gas station restrooms in better condition Stalls with liners all over the floor and seat No toilet paper Something in the floor that looked like Waste bins overflowing Got out of there and went straight to two manager types and told them they had a bio-hazard situation in the restroom "Ok ma'am we will send someone over there" Then they continued to talk about whatever serious management issue comes up in a Target We got our cart and went to the women's clothing section to shop meanwhile nothing happening to address the restroom situation........ We walk over to customer service and tell them the bathroom needs to be shut down ASAP and cleaned. "Ok ma'am I will call someone" Tried on some clothes and decided I was no longer in the mood to shop so bought my item and left. I was in the store abt 30 minutes and "someone" never showed up to clean the restroom and patrons were still going in to use it Disgusting! I love that this company is taking covid 19 precautions seriously. They have a curbside pick up where you purchase your items via target app and pick it up once your order is ready. Upon arrival, I checked in when I arrived with my car details and they were very speedy with the process. It probably took no more than a minute to bring my items out. As far as Targets are concerned, this one is more or less identical in layout, inventory, and square footage (might be a little bigger) as the one in the Crossroads with the exception that their guest services are to the left of the entrance and their Starbucks and cafe is to the right. They were out of stock of some items I shopped for, but it wasn't anything I needed immediately. They have a slightly larger selection of seasonal merchandise at the far diagonal corner of the store. Their parking situation is better than both the Marketplace and Crossroads location, with lots of parking spaces to park at when driving from the direction of where the Costco is, but if one enters from the side with the Office Depot next to it, it's chaos. Their cashier didn't sales pitch to us this time and they got it done quickly without any socializing. read more

This location is conveniently located at the district in Tustin. Also looks clean and sleek. Parking is pretty easy if your patient. I almost always park within 5 spots of the door. I like this Target out of the few I frequent this is the best one, actually its a toss up between this and the Irvine location. This spot has plenty of parking and is never too overcrowded at any given time. Lots of check out lanes and a self-checkout area as well. Compared to the one in Orange this one is solid. Shelves are always plenty and its very well kept up. I was actually in there yesterday (10/17/17) and as I walked down the aisle ways I realized that this is one of the cleanest well-kept Targets I have been in. I actually even ran across a few Nintendo Switches while I was there. I was talking with the electronics department who were all very helpful. One thing I am a little bummed about is that they got rid of their Target cafe. They replaced it with a Which Which and a Starbucks. I mean come on!!! Those are all over Orange County. How am I supposed to get that awesome Target popcorn? How am I supposed to suck down a Icee and shop? Oh well, a minor set back here I guess. But I still like my Targets with there own cafes. The people in Target Online were very kind to me after I told them about the incident on the Barbie doll house. They gave me a lot of discounts when some of the coupons expired. I understand that Target needs to make money or else they can't pay their employees. I wish I could say sorry to the Muslim lady when I was buying the doll house. I was upset that I did not get the 25% discount on the Barbie doll house. I know she was doing her job. I wish I can make up for any miscommunication to her that I was not angry at her. WTF didn't I write a review for this Target yet..? I come here whenever I get a paycheck. It is utterly impossible to leave without donating $50 to the Target bankroll. This is the cleanest most-organized Target i've ever been to. They have a nice selection of groceries, pet stuff, and beauty-primping supplies. I was looking for a board game here that is kind of rare, and they HAPPENED TO HAVE IT for much less than the usual price. The parking lot is huge and they have tons of registers. Great customer service compared with other OC locations. Huge parking lot that gets rarely full, and there's sometimes music playing from the speakers outside, which actually puts me in a better mood when I go shop. The cashier that rang us up today was so nice and seemed happy to be there - a trait that is mostly lost in customer service these days. The store itself is pretty well-stocked and clean. Today a young girl with black hair and a nose ring was rude, incompetent and illogical. To pack clothing in the bags carelessly like stuffing newspapers into the trash can. I politely asked that she fold the clothing to not get them wrinkled, so I'd have to iron them at home, then she rolled her eyes and lazily folded them into the bags. This girl needs a wake-up call, to have this type of work ethic in any job is a poor character trait she can keep a lifetime if, she doesn't change her outlook in the working world. read more

I love this store, the which which and Starbucks are great! The staff is phenomenal and they are very friendly. I came here for cat litter about a week ago and they had a huge selection. I mean, I couldn't believe how much cat litter there was. Double duty, organic, you name it. Almost too many options. But my kitty likes the double duty, so we went with that. Will definitely come back to this target, need to check out the cat toy section next time I go in, I didn't have enough time last time. I do come to this Target a lot. This is the second time I run into the problem of being mis charged. The sign will say an item is let's say $10 and I will be charged $20. I take pictures of each price tag to let them know that was the price shown both time the workers have been upset but charged me the right price. This last time a went the manager was very defensive and would not honor the price on the tag. When my boyfriend said it was against the law to post a certain price and then charge us different she got loud and agressive. She was very unprofessional after a while she told the cashier to give the product to us at the price it was show as but to cut the receipt so that we could not get any coupons or give it as a gift.
