This was my first time visiting this Target in the Vista area. Overall, the employees were nice, and the store was very clean. This Target is also quite large and has a great selection. I especially liked the makeup section because they carried many of the products and brands I was looking for. One thing that stood out to me was the Starbucks inside Target. The person who made my drink did a really good job, it was perfectly balanced and not watery at all. Although they didn't seem very friendly and came across a little blunt, that honestly didn't bother me as much because the drink tasted exactly the way I like it. This target has a wide selection of items and sometimes is the only one that has in stock items I'm looking for (at least in my surrounding area). A lot of my usual products are now only sold at this store as well so I've been going more often. Very happen with the organization and again stock itself. Happy they have an Ulta too! Really easy to find parking, do drive up, or pick up inside too! read more

Came here specifically because it had something in stock that I was specifically looking for. They only had two left. Both were damaged and dirty but they offered me a discount at the register so that was worth it. Most things I've gotten have generally lasted a long while. I use my circle account and target card to get the deals. I'm always on the lookout for the clearance and it definitely doesn't hurt to ask when you see something that isn't quite right with the products on hand. I used to love shopping here, but my recent visit to this target location was awful. The store was completely unorganized with clothes thrown all over the clearance racks and empty hangers rolling on the floor. I waited twenty minutes at the main checkout because there were only two registers open, and the cashier was scrolling on her phone instead of greeting customers. When I tried to return an online order at the customer service desk, the employee rolled her eyes, told me their system was "acting up," and refused to process my refund without a physical paper receipt (even though I showed her the barcode on my app). We were looking for a Lego set for my son and this was the closest location that still had one to us. I placed the order online Sunday night and it was ready for pick up Monday morning. Close to the freeway, easy to get to, and plenty of parking. We walked up to the Customer Service booth and they scanned our barcode and brought out the Legos. Easy peasy! Watch out for the grinch that works at Starbucks at this location inside target. Almost all Starbucks employees are nice and greet you with a good attitude but not on this location. There is a blonde tall older lady that has a nasty attitude. Lady, if you don't like your job or being around people then maybe you should be working in the back. I had a couple of questions and each time she would answer me with a short answer with an attitude, like if I was bothering her. I like target, actually love Target but this one is poorly ran. The wait is forever for pick up, purchase, or returns. I've never experienced this at any other Target. Managers here do not seem to be efficient and makes customer wait a long time (10+ mins to come to the counter). Long lines. Probably will find a different location to shop. read more

What a great experience we had at Target this weekend. For someone who does not like shopping, the visit made me feel comfortable. We ran in for a few items. The ability to locate things was easy and predictable. The pricing was easy on the wallet. Like this Target because of the location. It's located right off the freeway at Sycamore and 78 so it's easy to get to and if you can't find what you need you just drive across the street go to the Walmart. They have self-service checkouts too. but what I don't love about this location - the lines are always long. Hence the 3 star rating. It seems they never have enough cashiers at the registers. It always seems like 50 people are in line at the one or two opened registers and a line of people waiting at the self check out so whether it's the fact that they're just not fast or they just don't have enough staff I'm not sure but that's my biggest concern because it takes longer than It should to check out. They've done a recent renovations so the departments are moved around slightly so things aren't where they used to be if you if you if it's been a while since you've shopped in there I'm so may take you longer longer it's mostly in the clothing area I didn't really say a whole lot changing groceries and stuff like that but our beauty. The WORST customer service ever!!! I regret not getting the cashiers name!! Absolutely nasty ! They were talking about our family as we walked away to complete a total to get a coupon that we ended up not even getting!! The cashier said "it'll pop up when you pay" wth????? I even told her it wouldn't!! And guess what?!! It didn't!!!! It was $25 off which for some might not seem like a lot but it is when you're starting up a new family! I had my baby with me.. we were super nice and friendly towards her so for her to talk about us with her co worker is so rude!! As we walked up the co worker said "they're coming! They're right there." Like are you serious!? It wasn't even young girls they were the oldest ones I've seen work there! As grown women I would expect more ! How unprofessional!! I guess I was the idiot for paying even though I knew it wasn't how it worked!! I am so upset at the fact that she was rude ! Not the $$ but her attitude! Only giving two stars because they had the product I wanted, but then they would not sell it to me. I found the hint water, in the water department and saw that they had packs of whole hint water, so I put two in my cart. I think I even saw the price tag of the whole case. I go up to check out, and the cashier tells me I cannot buy a pack of this water because they are sold only individually. I asked why were the packs there, and she responds "somebody didn't do their job". The price for each bottle water was about a dollar fifty, and the case itself was about $5.50. Our go-to favorite place for all things household. We are also starting to pick up some organic grocery items and staples as well. Haven't quite got on board with wearing Target apparel but there are always people shopping these aisles. The product mix, the staff, the clientele-- all a bit more upscale. You won't see many sweat pants with the word "Princess" emblazoned across the backside, like you see at the WalMart close by. And if you get the "Red Card" - their private branded credit or debit card - you'll get 5% off of everything. There's nothing more to be said that hasn't been said already... I can only add this: Five Fun things to do in a Target 1) walk up to an employee and tell him in an official voice "I think we've got a code 3 in housewares " and see what happens 2) put random things in other people's carts 3) hide behind a stack of paper towels in the housewares aisle and as customers walk by say "pick me, pick me!" 4) go to the clothing section, stand next to a dressing room, and yell in a loud voice "there's no toilet paper in here" 5) follow someone around the store with a can of spray sanitizer and spray everything that they touch read more

My fondest memory of this Greatland Target was a over a year ago. For Christmas, I purchased three new bikes for the kids here. I also bought a bunch of other stuff including bike helmets. A month goes by and I'm getting ready for the big day, but I can't find the bike helmets. Nowhere. I did pay for them, but I never remember seeing them since I put them on the conveyor belt. I left them behind at the store....... Sheepishly, I returned to Target and told them my story and said I must of left them bagged at the cashier. Even though a month had gone by they said no problem and they credited me new helmets. I don't typically leave bad reviews, but I had to leave this one- a couple of weeks ago, I went to Target and was being helped by a young man in the market area. As I was being assisted, I heard a team lead yell at a team member down a few aisles. I heard the team lead; I believe his name was Lincoln (it was hard to read his name tag), tell a minor to "lose the gray" because the young man was wearing a gray sweater. Amongst their conversation, I overheard the young man state it was the only sweater he had and asked the manager to requisition him a red sweater if he needed to be wearing red. I'm disgusted in the matter the lead spoke to the team member. Target is known for treating its employees right, and this experience was a poor example of that. It made me think of how much the store makes, and they could not simply requisition an item? When it is freezing in the market area. The young man was in the middle of helping me, and Lincoln rudely irrupted us. As a manager myself and a former Target employee, I was disgusted by how he treated this young man. No one in a leadership position should speak to anyone as if they are beneath them. This was such disgusting and unprofessional behavior for a team lead, and I hope Target does better with their training for team leads at this location because they have no right to speak to a team member in that matter. I love Target even though they don't sell ammo or gun cleaning supplies. The quality of their clothing is so much better than Walmart. Even though probably overall Walmart is more affordable. I rather pay more and get a longer life out of it. Also Target sells some of my favorite brands like Method which you can't buy at Walmart. read more

This review is strictly for the experience I had for the in-store pick up on 11/23 afternoon. While in store, I placed an online "in-store pick up" purchase on my phone in order to take advantage of an online only promo. I know this may be petty but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get the best deals? Anyways, by the time I came to customer service to pick up the order, it was nowhere near the 2 hour pick up time and a few of the cashiers either didn't know what to do or told me we had to wait the full 2 hour. A polite reminder would have sufficed since waiting is technically the rule but it turned unexpectedly into one cashier scolding and asking me if I understood the rules of the online purchase/in store pick up rules! Asking someone repeatedly if they understood something is something you do to unreasonable kids, not paying customers. It was humiliating and uncalled for for this to occur by the front entrance as each customer walks by watching the debacle unfold. At the peak of this unpleasant shopping experience, Target employee, Jocelyn comes out of the back office with her smartphone and in her calming and friendly demeanor reassured me the order is prepared and can be picked up right away. She went out of her way to resolve a situation that was already "handled" by her fellow employees, completely reversed the appalling bad customer service experience, and left me going home feeling thankful and appreciative. So I just wanted to take the time to thank Jocelyn and this particular Target for having hired this wonderful person! read more

This target in particular is a basic store but it's the employees that I have a problem with. Not once but three times the employees were talking trash about another employee right in front of me! I like going to this Target. Only setbacks are that this location has a higher sales tax (9.75%) since it's in Vista, and that there's only 1 entrance (before the remodel, there were 2). I came here to bypass some time prior to my BoD meeting a local restaurant. The remodel looks great. Clean, wide and spacious. Now selling produce and food items. I could def stop here to grocery shop if need be. The parking area provide ample parking and usually I never find a problem. It's conveniently located off the Sycamore exit off the 78 so it's easily accessible since it's on way home from work. read more
