But, I felt that I needed to express my feelings on some sort of public platform. The time I've spend working here has been very pleasant. Bill Tassio the owner has always been a honest man with integrity. He's always been straight forward with us and cared about our opinions and feelings. I've always felt He was very easy to approach and speak to about any concerns I've had in the past. He's always been very clever and focused on resolving any and all situations for all his employees. Our management and dispatchers have always cared about us and always gave us everything we needed to do our jobs efficiently and accurately. Finally, I've been involved and working in the industry since I was 16 years old and went to vocational school for Hvac when I was 18 years old and even got my driver license in a work van. In 21 years I've been doing this I've never seen such care and workmanship on new equipment installations as our team. I mean it's really a work of art. Our team really strives for perfection and every install must have photos taken and sent to Bill himself for approval. Well, It's Summer for sure, Mid July and temperatures hit 114 in the San Fernando Valley! I wrote a review in May for this company, and just as fate would have it, My A/C stopped working the day of the hottest weather of the year....This is life! I am writing this because even though Tassio has given great service, Mechanical products fail. It is not the fault of Tassio that a product fails, and Lennox is a reputable manufacturer of quality products. That said, If it can go wrong it seems to happen to me. My A/C went out on me at 10 pm on a Friday! I called Tassio and spoke to the answering service which took my information. Tassio called me at 7:30 am to let me know they would be at my home 1-3pm. I then got another call that my service tech in the area could be at my home by 10am. Awesome! The tech called me 10 minutes later and was at my home within 20 minutes. This is what great service is about. I have my entire system under maintenance contract with Tassio. If something goes wrong, I can count on them to be responsive to my needs and resolve the issues. In my case my Zone controller card went bad. There was a mixup about whether it was under warranty. In my case, Bill the owner called me and took care of the issue of warranty and set up the proper service and replacement of the defective unit. This is what is amazing about this company. Bill cares! and his employees care. It has proven evident to me so many times already in my home. In my home, If it can go wrong...It does go wrong. If a product can fail, it will fail! Quality Service is what makes life better. Quality service with a great attitude when it is 114 degrees out is even better. Relationships create even better service. I know it sounds like a sales pitch, but it is not! I have no relationship other than from my first day of business as a homeowner with Tassio. If you want great service..USE this company! If you want amazing service when you need it most like I have on more than 5 occasions in the last year and a half since buying my home.....GET A MAINTENANCE CONTRACT with these guys! They will make sure all is working well. They will make the correct recommendations if it needs any repair and keep things running properly, and MOST importantly, THEY WILL BE THERE in your time of need in a very reasonable period of time! I will never blame Bill Tassio for product failure and all mechanical items will fail! But.....I will say that this guy and his company stand by their work, product and service! Great experience! I found Tassio through Yelp and the stellar reviews do not lie. I submitted a service request on their website and was called back within a half hour to schedule. They got me an appointment for the next day (even though it's blazing hot and I'm sure they're busy) . And the morning of my appointment, the technicians arrived at the beginning of my appointment window and I got a courtesy call a half hour before they arrived. My techs were Albert and Jake. They were knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. They got my AC up and running in under an hour and charged me a great price! I couldn't be happier! This has to be the WORST company to deal with, and I HIGHLY suggest noone should EVER make the mistake we made by having them out to our home. They sent out their technician to simply put some tape on open spaces nearby our furnace. He was here no more than 1/2 hour. We were told there would be a $99 charge to come out and whatever needed to be done, that initial fee would go towards the work they performed. Of course they were kidding!!!! They charged us $160!!!!! which after calling three other companies, that was WAY MORE than any other company was going to be charging. However, this company came recommended from Thousand Oaks Plumbing since they had just done work on my home...so although I attempted to call Tassio directly and let them know that I should not be charged and additional $60, it fell on deaf ears. I then contacted T.O. Plumbing since they are all owned by CASTLEWORKS, another company that is uninterested in customer service, and the manager there agreed to help me get my entitled $60 back. However, although the manager at the plumbing side of CASTLEWORKS agreed to help me, what he did not tell me is that he was taking it upon himself to credit the card I used for a plumbing job and not for the Furnace job. I cannot for the life of me figure out where he had the idea to get an ok from my cc company to just credit to any darn card he wanted versus getting the credit on the card I used to pay for that particular service. I waited TEN DAYS to get to the bottom of this fiasco,, while the manager is asking ME if I am checking the credit going back to the correct card!!!!! This company should not be treating the consumer with disprespect and gauging them the way they did me. I am aware that the mgr at Thousand Oaks Plumbing had good intentions on making this right, but instead, made it worse by charging another cc without notifying me thats what he was doing. This is a clear cut situation of the right hand and the left hand not communicating with the consumer. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT I WILL BE SURE AND LET EVERYONE AND ANYONE I KNOW TO NEVER USE THIS TASSIO COMPANY UNLESS THEY WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND TREATED LIKE DIRT! STAY AWAY FROM CASTLEWORKS COMPANIES SINCE THEY HONESTLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, OR THEY WOULD HAVE RETURNED MY CALLS AND NOT LEAVE IT IN THE HANDS OF THEIR MANAGEMENT IN ANOTHER DIVISION. The other issue was that TASSIO claimed that they were just in charging me the amount they did since they were out at my home several times. They were out at my home only ONCE and I never heard of this company before they were recommended to me by the very same manager that tried to do right by me. Sadly, this has been nothing short of a nightmare for us and I want to be sure it NEVER happens to anyone else.....I hate giving this company ANY stars because even ZERO is too much, but I have to do something or this review will not get printed. read more

Tassio installed a brand new HVAC system in our home April 2014. Here it is 5 years later and condensation drainage pipe wasn't installed properly. So we now have to spend more money correcting the poor installation they did back then. If they did the job right the first time we wouldn't be paying for this 5 years later. Now our AC overflows with water in the closet in our home because the pitch of the drainage isn't correct and the water backs up. read more

He walked me and my parents through the options and costs and presented us with formal quotes for the options. He was clear in his recommendations about fit for needs and value. We chose Tassio and the installation process was identical to the quoting. Tom and Tassio were super flexible with scheduling and could not have been more professional. The installation work was outstanding and Tom and team followed up with me when they were done and the following day to make sure we were happy with the new system and their work. I do not usually write reviews, but this time I had to! The company is absolutely amazing! Our AC stopped working Monday night and I had it fixed the next day! Also, with everything that is happening in the world right now, the workers were extremely professional, sanitary, and respectful,. Throughout their whole visit, they were following the state's guidelines and were wearing masks, gloves, and other necessary protection. Tassio Temp is the best in the market for HVAC. We made the decision to go with Tassio to replace our 5 tons HVAC unit after comparing with 6 different companies. Tech from every company inspected our system and quoted us. But, Tassio stood out in all aspects of technical knowledge of the system, process, pricing and authenticity. Avo is great, we decided to go with Tassio because of Avo. He is personable, knowledgeable, spent a couple of hours twice explaining and educating us on the system. He made it easy for us to make the decision quickly. He is highly reliable, quick in responding to our inquiries via phone, text or email. Avo's team Abi Bahena Gomez, Oscar and Filman did a fabulous job. Abi worked on uninstalling and installing the unit at the backyard and Filman and Oscar worked on the attic uninstalling and installing the furnace and evaporator coil. The entire work was done within 8 hours seamlessly. Oscar was swift in installing the Google Nest learning. Abi was so efficient oversaw all the work while working himself. These guys are great! Professional & fixed the problem with the switch. Impressive customer service, especially by telephone customer service representative. That being said, I am still waiting for their recommendation to replace the entire unit as discussed with the technician. We have a recurring problem with the old switch and apparently it needs to be replaced. However, since the unit is old, switches for this unit are no longer available on the market. Hence, the entire unit needs replacement. read more

DO NOT USE! TERRIBLE customer service and incredibly overpriced. They told me they would be at my house between 8am-12pm and they didn't get there until 3:30pm. I have 2 babies so having them in the heat while I wait for someone to show up was horrible. When the guy finally came he quoted me a huge amount and was unable to itemize labor and parts. Luckily I was able to get a hold of someone else who was able to come to my house, was there when he said he would be, kept me updated and billed me less than half of what Tassio was going to charge me for the same work. From start to finish, Tassio was a pleasure to work with. Our air-conditioning went out on Thursday July 6, 2017 -- right in the middle of the record heat wave. We called a few companies for estimates. Most couldn't even get out to our house until the following Monday. The first company that came out on Friday was clearly a scam. They told us we needed a new AC and new furnace immediately, and it would cost over $8000! They didn't even leave us a written estimate/invoice, and they didn't charge us the inspection fee. That's not true: they did leave us a Post-It with the number written on it. Luckily, the HomeMag arrived in the mail that afternoon, which is where I saw the ad for Tassio. Having nothing to lose, we called and surprise surprise they could get a technician to our house within the hour! "We'll believe it when we see it" was our thought, but sure enough, not more than 30 minutes later, Jake appeared at our door. Jake did a great inspection for us: confirming our fears that the first estimate had not been on the level, we did not need a new furnace, just a new AC compressor and coil. He left us with a detailed invoice and said that someone from the office would call us within the hour. Guess what? They called within the hour. An appointment for 8:00-8:30am the next morning was scheduled. Bill Tassio (owner) appeared at our door at exactly 8am the next morning (Saturday). He inspected our compressor and coil and sat down with us to talk about our options. The furnace was clearly not an issue, but he would give us two estimates: one with just a new AC unit and one with both AC and Furnace. We decided on just the AC. The only unfortunate part of our entire experience was that we had to wait until Friday (July 14) for the installation. We realize that this must be a busy time of year, and definitely busy during this heat wave. Even though we suffered through 100+ temps without AC, we hunkered down with fans and waited for the "Big Day". We were told Installers would arrive 8am on Friday morning, and sure enough, 8am I see trucks pulling up in front of the house. Tassio employees are exceptional when it comes to punctuality. This is something we appreciate greatly as it seems many businesses don't understand that customers' time is valuable. Tassio gets it. Mario and Jaime were personable and respectful of our home. They laid down tarps on our hardwood floors and even took the time to say hello to our dogs. We have an older unit that sits on our roof, and although the nosy neighbors got an eyeful of the crane, we felt zero inconvenience (we didn't even have to move our cars out of the driveway for it!). There wasn't a moment during the installation when we worried about the installers walking in and out of the house. They took the time to talk to us and kept us apprised of everything they were doing. The work was done on time (they said it would take until "around 3pm" when they arrived) and done well. They cleaned up our house, they cleaned up our yard, and most important: they wished us well with our new unit. There's a lot to be said for customer service. From start to finish, Tassio was a pleasure to deal with. They understand that the emergency expense and stress of replacing an AC unit isn't something to be taken lightly. Not honest! Had my system serviced last week with Tassio Inc. I was quoted $89.95 for service. The technician fixed the problem in 5 minutes by changing a switch from on to off and stayed about 30 minutes. But I was charged more. Asked why, he answers that's what the company wants me to charge you. Told him I didn't think that was fair. Noticed afterwards that the invoice said he was at our home for 2 hours. Lied about the time and the service charge. Cross them off my list. Too dishonest. read more

I had a complete air conditioning and new furnace put in less than a year ago. Tonight at 6 pm sunday we realized the heater was not turning on. The technician was just here a few days ago and it appeared everything was working. However the temperature is dropping and my mother is 92 years old with some health issues. When I called the company and asked for someone to come out and fix this they first told me they couldn't get here til tomorrow at 10:30 am . After a few minutes they then told me they could get here at 7:30am. Not sure why they advertise that they have 24/7 help when they told me the best they could do is come in the morning while my 92 year old mother is sitting in her bed freezing. I am not sure how this is caring for their customers. read more

I had been dealing with Temperature Control since I purchased my HVAC in 2008. I have been bumped several times over the years, however, I had a service for my AC scheduled on Friday, June 3rd between 2-4 pm. I was home at 1:30 p.m. No one showed up. No Text or Phone call. Of course when I called them this morning, it was that their tech was there and that they called me. Neither of those occurred. If you make a mistake, own up to it. Don't call me a liar. I asked for 1/2 of the yearly maintenance fee I paid - they are not keeping up with their end of the deal. I would not recommend these people to anyone. They SUCK! read more

I had a new A/C system installed and the technicians Ramiro, Filimon and Oscar were very meticulous in their work which is what I demand in any work done on my house and came with a smile on their faces everyday and ready to go to work. They left left my house clean everyday they were here and I can't thank them enough for their hard work. Thank you guys for making the installation less stressful. I also have to put in a good word for Memo who came out and measured the rooms and drew up a plan for the installers to work off of. He was very polite and answered all my questions. A big thank you to the owner Bill for taking the time to come down to my city and after seeing my house, answering my questions recommended a system that I am so happy with and for that quality work you advertise. My normal HVAC contractor was out of town, so I called Tassio when my heater decided it "sometimes" wanted to blow hot air. The woman who scheduled the appointment said the service/ diagnostic charge was $65 and that it would be waived if there were any repairs that needed to be done. Sounded good to me! Andy was the repair tech and seemed friendly and knowledgeable enough. I explained the situation and I told him I had an older unit, but it's never given me a ton of problems. He went on the roof, checked it out, came back to tell me what awful condition it was in and that I'd probably need a whole new unit soon but he thought the problem was a loose wire that he fixed (to the tune of $126 that took him all of a few mins to fix) Now, mind you, I don't mind paying for things if they are 1.) Done correctly and 2.) Actually FIX the problem. I cheerfully paid him for the service and went on with my day. I wake up the following morning and guess what? It's blowing cool air again. I understand these types of things happen when trying to diagnose a machine that can't tell you why it's malfunctioning but when he came back the 2nd time he still couldn't figure out what was wrong!!! (I also had Tassio's salesman Jim out for an estimate on a new unit, at the same time) At that point, I lost faith that they knew what they were doing so I called my normal contractor so that he would at least know what Andy had checked so if he needed to come out he'd know what was going on. At this point I could tell Andy was a bit annoyed that I had him speak to my contractor but come on....he is a repair tech and had no other ideas of what could be going on!! He left pretty quickly after that. The next day it was still blowing cool air (surprise, surprise) when funny enough I got a call from Jim the salesman asking how things were going. I told him that it was still blowing cool air and that I was upset with the whole experience. He apologized and said he'd "pass on the info" but I never got a call from Andy or the owner to make things right. I would have gladly paid for the service call but to pay for him to fix one wire at the tune of $126 and not even have a working system?!? Not okay!!! Very disappointing and I definitely wouldn't recommend them. read more

I was very pleased with their service and highly recommend them. The job: I had them replace my home's Trane split system with a new one. This was because I had a broken a/c and it was too old to be worth repairing (over 25yrs old). And we figured it's smartest to also update the heating unit at the same time so the entire system is brand new and works together well. Price: Very fair, and the best value. There were higher quotes, and there were cheaper quotes. The cheaper quotes were clearly unprofessional people, or people that were being sneaky and creeping up their price through nickel-and-diming tactics which made me extremely uncomfortable. I was comfortable the Tassio quoting process and Jim (the sales guy). Communication: Honest and clear communication. When I met the company's sales guy, Jim, for the proposal I felt comfortable with changing my A/C system. He was very attentive to answering all my questions and concerns. I also requested a specific thermostat I wanted (Nest) which they agreed to do and I love the thermostat. Their work: the crew is very professional, clean cut, knowledgeable, friendly, and had their ducks lined up in a row start to finish. They got the job done within a day, very efficiently, and did a clean job. The result: It's been two weeks and the a/c seems to be doing a great job so far. Overall: A job well done. If you're looking for 24 hour emergency service, this is not the place to call. I called first when our air conditioner broke, and was scheduled for the next business day. The prices are beyond inflated, but it was hot, and I was miserable, so I paid it. 2 weeks later, it's broken again (a 3 year old unit, this should not be happening), and low and behold, there are no technicians available outside of normal business hours. We are stuck in a 90 degree house after paying a small fortune for a small repair just 14 days ago. I absolutely would not recommend. If you have time to quote it out, find someone else. Otherwise, pay 3 times more for a normal job and have it break again shortly after. And if you're looking for emergency service, they don't offer it. They answer the phone, but that's it. read more

Tassio is a service-oriented company without question. During the hottest day in July, 112 degrees F, the Tassio crew worked in our attic pushing to finish the installation of our new system (Lennox AC & Furnace). I don't know how they did it, but they were able to endure the extreme temperatures in the attic for hours. I can only assume that they wanted to finish the job, that day, so that my family can begin to cool off. Mario, Sergio, Daniel, Marcos, and Steven are true professionals. These guys were courteous, hardworking, gentlemen when they had every reason not to be - again the heat was intense. These guys answered all my questions and never minded my interruptions. If you ever find yourself in a position to have Tassio install a new system, make sure to ask for Mario (lead) and the rest of the crew to do the work. The crew has decades of experience and their work reflects it. These guys are true craftsmen. When it comes to HVAC system installation, through my research, I learned that who you hire to install your system is more important than the brand of the system you buy. Remember this, the best branded system can still fail if it is installed poorly. Thanks to my research, I hired the A-team. Tassio has been extremely responsive throughout every phase of the purchase transaction; before, during, and after. Whenever I place a call, Tassio is at my door step within hours - even after my system was installed. Two-months since the installation, and I still love my system. Lastly, I love how Tassio embraces technology in every aspect of their business, service, invoicing, installation, and product sales. It feels like a big modern company, but their service maintains a small, mom-and-pop, business feel - this is a good thing. The best part is, these guys are comparably priced to many HVAC companies in the area; I know, I interviewed several companies before hiring Tassio. What I'm trying to explain is that as a customer, I received a lot of value for my dollar and I'm sure you will too. read more

Our old A/C unit recently started leaking, so we started calling HVAC repair places...and I will never call anyone but Tassio again. The first place we called said the unit was completely beyond repair and quoted us a fortune to replace it. But Jake came out from Tassio and got the unit up and running again in under an hour. My AC went out last Sunday and managed to get an appt with Tassio on Mon. The technician that came out, Avo, was on time and very courteous. Explained how my compressor was dead, got me set up with an appt for a quote for new system in 30min. Their sales guy Tom came out on time and gave me several quotes by days end. I didn't know that AC units are in short supply but Tassio was able to get me setup for an install within 5 days. Other contractors were quoting 2-4weeks just to get the unit in stock. Anyway today Sat the Tassio team came out and installed the new system. Finished an hour ahead of schedule and were extremely organized and polite. The team was Juan, Eduardo and Filimon.
