Tastea at Delta Shores is my last and final stop on the wild ride that is the Boba Bracket!! I had low expectations for this location based on my drink and experience at their South Sac location. Tastea is located off I-5,Cosumnes River exit. This locations is much bigger and busier than the South Sac location. The inside really looks like and reminds me of Jamba Juice. Still have to wait outside when done placing an order. Their PeachMe Sweetea or whatever it's called, is the only drink with the 25% off discount during the Boba Bracket. I didn't like it the last time I ordered. I had no interest trying that drink again. I ended up ordering their winter melon tea w/ oat milk, half ice, full sweetness. I added Boba. Tastea pulled it off and I was very happy with my drink. Still not a fan of their green boba. Still not the right consistency, in my opinion. It doesn't taste good. For some reason, they don't serve their boba warm(the bottom of my cup didnt feel warm when I picked up my cup). South Sac didn't serve their boba warm either. It must be a Tastea thing. I'm still not a fan of Tastea. There's shops in Sac that makes better quality drinks and Boba. I would not stop by Tastea again. read more

Walked In and instantly greeted, got in our social distancing lines. Moved fast in lins. I like that they offer big size drinks. From a 20oz, 32oz & even a Jug size. Get your drink on! They have a lot of options and they had some we really wanted to try. The strawberry ecstasy with black tea was great and we got it with lite sweetness. The watermelon heaven was a great choice. Perfectly blended and made with real watermelon. The ice blended drink went down great on the hot day. They do have a drink card if you buy so many you get one free. Ventured out to Delta Shores to get some dinner and wanted a drink to go with it. I've always seen how crowded this place gets so I wanted to give it a try. I was in for a pleasant surprise! I went in to order and they have COVID precautions in place. I was greeted by the workers and went on to order my tea. I ordered my usual, a Thai Tea with Boba. My boyfriend was with me and he's not a big tea person but he decided to try out their Milk Tea. Once you order, you then wait outside and they call your name once your order is ready. If you're a usual here they also have a stamp card that you have to register for, so be sure to do that if you want free drinks! As for the drinks, by far one of the best Thai Teas i've had. The tea perfectly sweetened and had a great amount of boba. I love boba but for some people who don't this may have too much for you. Once I finished my drink I immediately wanted more. My boyfriend ordered the Milk Tea and for him it was too sweet, so keep that in mind if you're not into very sweet things. I enjoyed it and ended up drinking his as well. I even had some left over the next day and the taste was just as great! That's not typical for many tea places. Overall great place, the only con I see is that it is a bit pricey for the sizing. I think my boyfriend ordered a taro Milk tea and I got the classic. I can honestly say it was average tasting. It didn't blow our taste buds away. When I was giving my order to the staff, it was really hard for her to hear me because the music inside was so loud. I love Tastea! Their matcha milk tea is my favorite, the matcha flavor is strong and subtly sweet. I also enjoy the rest of the drinks in this picture as well. I would recommend their jasmine milk tea or house special if you want some Vietnamese coffee. Their boba is really good as well. My beloved Tastea has finally made it to Sacramento!! I've been a fan since I first had it in SoCal during my college days. I love that they use real fruit and their honey boba is always perfectly chewy. My favorite drink is the Peach Me Freezie with honey boba. Their classic milk tea is good also, but definitely get it less sweet. I've mobile ordered twice now and both times the drinks were ready when I arrived. Came here on a Saturday evening and was very impressed with the service! I have been to the Bay Area location before, so I was so excited for a Tastea to open in the Sac area! I tried ordering online through the app, but it said there was "a high volume of orders" so I wasn't able to order. So, I just waited in line to order. The line wasn't long at all, and the employees kept continuously apologizing for the line. In addition, I really appreciated all the steps they took to ensure social distancing & the enforcement of masks! I ordered the lychee peachee & the sunset peach, both with original boba. My girlfriends and I were driving around running errands on Saturday morning and decided to stop by TasteTea for a quick morning fix. Social distancing is enforced at this location which is a good thing. Face coverings are required and hand sanitizer is offered at the counter. After you order and pay, you are asked to wait outside until your name for the order is called out through the intercom. Two of us ordered the Watermelon Freeze and my other friend ordered one of their milk tea signature drinks. We all agreed that our drinks were consistent with other TasteTea locations which means they have the menu dialed in (some franchises are off when producing signature menu items). Finally a new location and a closer location, as well as another boba place I can go to in-between study breaks during the school year! It's right across Fire Wings, the theater, and Sweet Charlie's. I ordered their Peach Me Sweetea and I wasn't disappointed, especially on a hot summer day like yesterday. I got it with less ice and regular sweetness, and it was really great. It wasn't too sweet for me, although I could most definitely do it at 50% or less sweet too. The boba was freshly made, but I was a bit disappointed it wasn't the green boba they're known for. Yum! That tea is tasty! I like how they asked me what sweetness level I wanted and they were spot-on! I also asked if I could have 4 ice cubes in my drink and they listened! Usually when I ask for 4 ice cubes at places, my cup gets halfway filled with ice cubes... but Tastea did a great job in being a good listener. They also have all the good toppings that go with drinks. I usually go with crystal boba. Those sizes though, a 32 oz is worth it! I don't know about getting a jug of tea that may be a bit much for me, but if I host a tea party in the future I may think about buying a jug. Decided to come here yesterday around 2:30pm, was hoping to avoid the line and order through the app -- Once I was going to pay for my order, it said that they were busy due to high demand so I wasn't able order online. Bummer, I wish it was able to tell me that before I tried to make an order as I was already on the way to the location. We got there and it didn't look too busy, cool! There's two separate lines one for online orders and one for in store orders. The line to order in store didn't seem long wait but we still ended up waiting for at least 30 minutes. Finally, as soon as we ordered the cashier was very nice. We ordered the karate chicken, level 2, and the fries, level 3 spicy, along with the peach me sweetea, and the matcha Thai milk tea. In less than 10 minutes, our order was out. I have to say, I was pretty bummed!!! The chicken was good, but the spices were literally just spilled on top of the chicken and not evenly mixed in. The fries were pretty disappointing also, the crunch was there, but it seemed pretty bland? I mean, good thing we had sauces to dip in but even though we ordered "level 3 spice" there was nothing to be seen. The peach me sweetea was so warm, there was barely any ice in it, I had to add some when I got home. And my boyfriend did not enjoy his matcha Thai milk tea, again, barely any ice, and not much flavor to it as all. We probably came on a bad day, I understand they're still new! The customer service I received during my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered popcorn chicken and noticed on the screen that it had been entered in with the "no basil" customization. Confused, I asked the cashier who flatly said that they were out. Ok, no problem. I gave her my phone number for points and waited for my order. Some time passed and a name was called for an order--one that was not mine so I kept waiting. She calls the same name a few more times and again but this time, mentions a regular popcorn chicken. I went up to ask if that might be my order even though the name wasn't mine. It was, surprisingly enough. I can only assume that she may have entered in my phone number incorrectly which pulled up the wrong name/account. If so, I understand it was a mistake. But what I couldn't understand was that after taking/packing my order, repeatedly calling out the name, and seeing me waiting there, it didn't occur to her to communicate with me directly. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and believe that she had no idea but when I came up to ask her, she said, "Yeah, that's what you ordered." As someone who also works in food service, I understand how exhausting the job can be and I try to show grace and patience. But the whole interaction felt like the bare minimum in terms of customer care. It seemed evident that she didn't want to be there. And to top off my experience, the popcorn chicken was one of the worst I've had out of all the times I've ever ordered it :( Maybe she was having a rough day but judging from other reviews, she must have them every day. We are huge boba fans. We frequent this location weekly. The Thai Tea is my favorite. This review is for the poor service. We have had great experience ordering tea for catering, but this last trip was horrible. We asked in advance during our purchase if we could get ice so everything would be ready to serve and their employee gave us explicit instructions to bring ziplock bags for it. So, we show up to pick up our order, bags in hand, order isn't ready, Francis refuses to give us ice for the tea, so we have tea and boba, a small amount of fruit, and NO ice. They now say they don't provide ice with tea so, I guess the next time you order a cold Boba drink know that it may not come with ice. ‍ They wanted us to buy ice. Hmmmm. . .no thanks. I'm a big fan of Tastea and usually go to their South Sac location, but I have been to the Tastea at Delta Shores a couple times and noticed the drinks are a little different than their other location. One of my favorite drinks at Tastea is the strawberry milk tea, but the strawberry milk tea at this location doesn't have quite the wow factor I get from the other location. The last time I ordered the strawberry milk tea with crystal boba at Tastea Delta Shores, I could barely taste any tea flavor. It tasted like strawberry milk. I even went back to let them know and they added more tea, but it still didn't have that magnificent flavor I'm used to with this drink. It tasted like regular strawberry milk and did not have have fresh strawberry bits inside. It was a little disappointing. I've tried their Peach Me Sweet Tea and it was good, but a little sweet. They do have little bits of peach in the drink, which was a nice touch. Overall, my experiences at this Tastea were okay, but I do prefer the other location. If I come to this location again, I'll need to try a different drink. read more

OMG. YES and YES. The first time in, I was hooked. They have such an amazing variety of fruit and milk teas, smoothies and drinks. What impressed me most, is the menu offers "stevia" sweetened drinks- super hard to find at most tea places. I ordered a Thai Milk Tea sweetened with stevia (and of course Boba balls) It was phenomenal! The tea was strong but not bitter, the milk/cream ratio was perfect, the Boba was slightly sweet, chewy and delicious. TBH this is the most expensive Milk Tea I have ever had to date- but I did order the large which is 32 ounces, and a topping. Just a note to expect prices to be a little higher than other places. I was shocked at first when they read my total- but it was truly worth it. Some of the drinks offer a fruit juice and tea combo- and I mean REAL fruit juice, not just a syrup. They had quite a few juices, and I have also ordered a black tea with berry juice, stevia and ice. It was very refreshing on a blistering hot day. Note- they also offer drinks with flavored syrups, essentially they offer something for everyone. Great for keto, paleo, vegan, low sugar meal plans. I pre-ordered online for takeout! I got the Wintermelon Milk Tea, my boyfriend got the Taro Fantasy, and we split an order of the Jumbo fries at light spiciness. We ordered an extra set of fries for a friend at extra spiciness. The drinks we got at 75% sweetness and light ice. The pickup process was super easy. They're located on a corner in a shopping center, which has plenty of surrounding parking spots. The drinks were STILL really sweet despite the sugar reduction - I would recommend getting 25% sweetness instead. The taro drink was really good with a strong taro flavor and creamy. The wintermelon was good as well, but as I mentioned, was too sweet. The fries were stacked one on top of another in the bag - would have preferred some boxes like what In-n-out does for their Animal fries so that the fries are more contained. At least it was clear whose order of fries were whose since the spicier has way more chili powder. The chili powder on the fries plus the sweet chili dip for the fries is such a great combination - definitely recommend! I've been to this location a few times in person but have also had their drink delivered to a party before as well. I will say that their drinks are very good and they do their teas very well. They also do well maintaining consistency with their drinks. If you prefer the fruity flavors I would recommend this franchise to fulfill your craving. Sadly, they no longer serve shrimp, and the other food items are now only offered on a limited basis on the weekends. :( The honey boba is nice. Not too sweet, a nice touch in the more bitter teas. It has that slippery mouth feel, if you're into that. It's on the softer side as far as texture goes. The teas were also okay. The milk teas with almond milk always seemed a bit watery and bland to me, but the juice-based teas were nice and refreshing.
