We are not Vegan. We got Canuck Poutine French Fries as an appetizer which all 4 of us loved. I had the half Reuben and Corn soup with pepper, rest of family got the a Big Boy burger, the Texan salad with Vegan Chorizo, and the Black and Blue Burger, with slaw. Everyone was happy and said the food was yummy. Also, they had their garage size door open for air I assume due to Covid and had plenty of spacing in tables inside. I visited with my vegan friend and I had the chickn sandwich which was surprisingly spicy. The service was slow, but we sat outside and it was nice minus when the train came blaring by I had to protect my eardrums. The fries were okay, some smushy, some crispy. I have a love/hate relationship with vegan restaurants. I love them because I can eat everything on the menu, but sometimes I find the dishes to be a little disappointing. I'm happy to say that my experiences at Tasty Harmony have been predominately positive. On my most recent visit, my partner and I decided to order the Kentucky Fried Freedom and Vegan Truffle Macaroni and Cheese to split. The Kentucky Fried Freedom is my typical go-to dish (I love vegan comfort food...). The gravy was phenomenal. It goes perfectly with the fried mock chicken and mashed potatoes. The flavor combinations of this dish are just awesome! I stay away from the black eyed peas (not a fan), but the garlicky greens are a great side. I was less thrilled by the Vegan Truffle Mac & Cheese. For the price, I expected a stronger truffle flavor. Overall, I found the dish to be a little bland. The side of balsamic greens was very good though--the best entree of the dish in my opinion. The service and atmosphere are GREAT at their new location. It's much larger than the previous rendition and there is now plenty of seating room. We came in close to closing time, but the waiter was EXTREMELY accommodating and friendly. I felt bad about making him stay a little late, but if he was upset I couldn't tell. I wish I had caught his name because he was great. Tasty Harmony is one of FoCo's dining jewels. Every time my parents come up to visit we always come here. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is so cute and comfortable. I think at this point we've tried everything on the menu and I've never been disappointed. Everyone who works there is always very very nice. First and last time for me here after visiting Friday March 2, about 6:30 PM. Ordered main dish called "Loaded Yam - Baked yam, chocolate chili, tempeh bacon, vegan sour cream, pepper jack cheese or cashew cheese, scallions." It came out about 15 minutes later, room temperature. Maybe I'm crazy, but every baked potato or yam or mashed I've ever eaten in my entire life has been hot when served, yes? I asked the waiter, after tasting it, if it could be heated up. Instead of saying "Sorry about that - I'll take care of it!" as a professional server would do, he argued that the restaurant didn't have a microwave. In other words "No, you have to accept an entree you're not happy with. Bye!" I should add he was not nasty or anything - he was just sort of blonde, if you know what I mean, that Colorado "If I just smile and say 'Awesome!' over and over again, everything's fine!" Trying to help this young man, I asked if there was some other way it could be heated up and he finally took the dish back to the kitchen. It came out a few minutes later, still lukewarm. No steam, even. A sorry little main dish instead of a nice, hot meal one expects after a long day and going to a restaurant hoping to leave happy, satisfied and contented. "How is it now?" he asked a bit later. "Hot enough?" "No, but I'll eat it," I said, not wanting to further inconvenience him. I picked at this gloppy, indistinguished mess of no particular flavor, and finally pushed it away from me, instead focusing on conversation with my dinner companion, who let me share her curry. But it was my first and last time at this restaurant. My experience there encompassed everything anyone hates about vegan and vegeterian restaurants. The waiter did bring us two large cookies on the house at the end of the meal - but we would have preferred to have this Yam knocked off the bill, as I ate about 10 percent of it before giving up. My dinner partner left a note to the manager on the bill about the room temperature Yam. I wasn't going to let it spoil my evening and an otherwise lovely time with a lovely date. But I thought I would write a review here two days later because my leftovers are in my fridge, and every time I look at it, I remember the unpleasant experience of eating at Tasty Harmony. Quite yummy! I am trying to persuade my boyfriend and his meat loving family that vegan food can be delicious - let's just say that it worked! Nearly everyone raves nonstop about their food... ESPECIALLY desserts (one family member was against the idea of vegan cheese even before trying and refused to accept the idea, so I won't count that)!! We were so excited to find this place! We showed up right before closing and the kindly seated us. My husband ordered the blue cheese burger which was delicious!! Menu seems good, nice environment, but several problems with the food quality and the staff. Three of us all ordered the samurai bowl. As we waited we watched our waiter digging through either one of our bowls or another customers bowl with his bare hands. This wouldn't normally be acceptable but given the current pandemic it is unbelievable someone would do this. That's the staff problem. Out of the three bowls all of them had brown and wilted lettuce and only one included kale. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be in all or none of them but if they were all prepared at the same time it is very strange they weren't all the same. Today my girl friend and a couple of friends went to this awesome place, we were greeted by Michelle after we were seated everything seemed fine we ordered our beers and then when they came they were a little flat and warm so we sent them back for cocktails instead our server seemed pretty pissed that we didn't wanna just get new beers. She then acted pretty rude and like she really didn't care about our table. Wow. It was vegan heaven! We sat at the bar and Chris took great care of us. This was homecoming weekend for Colorado State and they were slammed, but we still received great service. We ordered the seitan hot wings as an appetizer. They came with the vegan chipotle ranch, barbecue sauce, buffalo hot sauce, and celery. I like how they didn't try to make them look like wings, rather they just made them damn good. Chris recommended the Ricky Bobby sandwich and it was superb. Tasty Harmony loses a star because the restaurant has ONE actual menu available. If you are not willing to own a smart phone, pay a thousand dollars a year for it and the service plans, have a QR scanning app, know how to use it, and choose to bring your phone to the restaurant, you are a SECOND CLASS patron as if you do not scan the QR code with your smart phone to see the menu and ask to see a real menu you may need to wait TEN OR TWENTY MINUTES until others are done with the ONE real menu. This policy tends to disadvantage senior citizens, people too smart to want to carry an expensive tracking device everywhere, and the poor who may not have a smart phone. Their printed menu is also inadequate and counterproductive, not listing drinks or desserts which tend to be high margin items. The ginger peach kombucha drink was praised by my companion. As with many restaurants, the menu is pared down without a huge selection, but I can tolerate that. The $0.55 surcharge added to the bill, which I found later is disclosed on the web site, feels like nickel-and-diming your customers. Just raise the food and drink prices a bit rather than adding random surcharges, another bad custom arriving in the restaurant business. As there are not many decent vegan restaurants, consider going here if you are a vegan or like vegan food. Unrelated to the quality of the restaurant: If you choose the outdoor seating, that rail track 15 yards away is not limited to light rail but will feature full Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight trains blowing their horns at top volume as they rumble through town, perhaps 120 decibels though I did not have a meter to measure it. On a hundred degree day if you vacate the outdoor metal chair for a couple of minutes and return to it, you will feel the heat. The servers were attentive, kind, and patient and do a good job. The fries that came with my sandwich were quite tasty. read more

Stopped by for dinner yesterday. I got a bohemian cocktail to drink and it was delicious. Interestingly enough they don't mark their menu gluten free with (gf) but they put (g) next to everything that contains gluten. Unfortunately there were not a ton of exciting gluten free options. Sure there is a yogi bowl, burrito bowls, a coconut bowl, but those are typical gluten free offerings, bowls. I was hoping for an exciting gluten free option, gf fried foods maybe. I got the nachos, (honestly they tasted like...vegan nachos) but I did add eggplant bacon (which was great). The gluten free chocolate chip pumpkin cake was the redemption arch that brought me around to 5 stars. The service was also prompt and wonderful. Stopped here when on a road trip and was so happy to have found it! Menu online was not relevant though- I saw mushroom poutine and was so excited- yet when we got there the menu had changed seasonally. Still - I ordered jackfruit tacos that were seriously fabulous. The texture was perfection, the seasoning and spice was yummy and they give you quite a lot. They had some kind of sweet hibiscus tea that was really wonderful too. When Tasty Harmony first opened we used to love going there, the food was great and it was so nice to have lots of options for vegetarians. What disappoints us now is that they advise people with nut allergies not to eat there. I've never seen this type of warning at a restaurant before. Rather than putting a symbol next to items that contain nuts and a "let your server know about food allergies" note they simply say just don't eat here. This place could be amazing for people with food allergies but it seems as though they've decided to throw their hands up. Restaurants deal with allergies all the time and do their best to accommodate people with allergies but this restaurant is unwilling to even try. Very disappointing, we won't be eating here and encourage those with food allergies to avoid Tasty Harmony. read more

We're locals who happen to be vegetarian/vegan so we've been here pretty often. It's consitently gone downhill so I felt the need to update. I've since gone vegetarian...the last review said I ate meat. The food is ok (not amazing) but there's always some issue with service or their inability to seat us. We tried to go there yesterday, a saturday at 6pm. Half the restaurant was empty. Empty booths, empty tables and NO LINE. We tried to have dinner and were told there was a 20 minute wait. When we asked how there could be a twenty minute wait when they were half empty they said their kitchen was backed up and that was why. We asked if we could wait in one of the empty booths and they said no, but that we could sit and wait at the bar. Well, for a recovering addict and two people who don't drink, the bar just wasn't an option. They have repeatedly just seemed to not care at all about taking care of their customers. Most restaurants would try and do everything within their power to get you seated and to stick around. They didn't seem to want our business at all. By the time I got paged to come back, we had gone across town and eaten dinner somewhere else, that wanted us. This is kind of a common issue with vegan restaurants. They have this elitist holier than thou vibe like "come and eat here....or don't....we don't care." It's really wack. I wish Gold Leaf was still open here. It was head and shoulders better in every which way. And also, sorry if your kitchen is backed up, but that's a YOU issue, not an US issue. Solve it before it affects your customer base. read more

Tasty Harmony has impressed me each time I've gone! As someone who's stopped eating meat and dairy, I love coming here and having so many options to choose from. All of the food is extremely flavorful and I love that the restaurant emphasizes working with seasonal ingredients. Also, I've been pleasantly surprised with the meat-substitutes on the sandwiches-- nothing has resembled soggy cardboard, so I would recommend this to anyone looking to branch out. I really wanted to love it here. Heard great things. It was ok in terms of the menu. It's like, when the chef makes the menu to please their intellect...but, the tastes didn't quite work for me, not harmonious, non-flow physical space and hard to find staff. There were lots of tables around and we were seated in the back, which I think would be okay on a 2nd visit, but not a first time there as it's a bit claustro and not like the airy, bright rest of the space. BUT...the food was mostly fresh and unique; the staff seemed to get along well, it was easy to get to and park, and maybe half of what I ate was delish. The rest was uninteresting (I had the seitan, mash taters n gravy...some of a small salad). Unfortunately, my 2 guests were even less impressed than me; they had the po-boy and the french dip, part of the salad. I think maybe I'll try again in the new season, and return for an update, especially given the continued great reviews. read more

Yummmmmmm!!! I just Recently relocated from West Hollywood, CA... And the biggest bummer for me has been going out to eat here in Fort Collins and only having the choice of veggie burgers when I go out to eat. How many veggie burgers can one vegetarian eat?? Rhetorical question of course but we would still love some variety! I yelped vegetarian vegan options and this place popped up so I thought I'd give it a try. Of course it was snowing outside so I wanted something hearty. I was so happy to see the southern fried chicken plate as an option and tried it. Holy s***!!! It was amaaazing!!! Fried or baked seitan seasoned like good ol' friend chicken, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, and bok choy greens with a hot cider whiskey drink. I was literally dancing in my seat while gorging myself!! THIS IS ONE OF THOSE PLACES THAT REMIND YOU-BEING VEGAN/VEGETARIAN DOESN'T HAVE TO FEEL LIKE SACRIFICING! Finding raw food is a challenge, GF, DF and vegan as well. Thankfully, this wasn't the case during my visit to Fort Collins. Unassuming from the outside the inside is half diner vibe and half communal with spattering of cool illustrations showing germination and pollination. The menu is fast and varied we started with the nachos which were recommended by our server Morgan who was attentive and knowledgeable. The nachos had a topping of jackfruit which was delicious, meaty and oh so good. For the main I had the coconut curry and my friend had one of the micro entree dishes. My bowl was delicious, well spiced, super fresh and warming. I also had the roasted dandelion tea which was smoky and biscuit like.
