    From on finger size meatjun..
    Jenny C.

Their meatjun is tasteless, need more salt.... and it's extremely greasy!!! Holy shit... probably cause carotid artery to clog! Won't ever order again. Spend $ 55 for 2 orders.

For years I've been going to tasty BBQ even when I moved from Mililani, the Place is still one of my favorite places to go for Korean food, I love their special plate but today I went light and got a mini plate but I just love the vegetables and the taste of the food before I was used to Dong Yang in wahiawa another childhood memory place but this is my spot from High School till now, service is always excellent, fast and a great takeout place if you got to go, it's mellow not to noisy, I love it there and if you never know you need to go

Great Korean spot! Meat jun is our go-to! Side veggies are always so good. Their Kim chee is bomb. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and very generous plate sizes too! Keep in mind they are cash only. We'll be back!

There are great options to choose from and the veggies sometimes vary. Staff is excellent and always nice. The atmosphere has a good old local dinner feel. Located within a mall so there are plenty of seating inside and out. It is CASH only.

They serve a lot of food for the price, which is nice. Food is pretty tasty. I usually get the meat jun plate but today decided to try their mandook soup and it was delicious!! So tasty, albeit very salty. Service is pretty quick and they have some indoor benches and tables to dine at, thought you order at the counter.

Regular combo- meat Jun and bbq chicken with mac salad, potatoes, kimchi and cold noodles

Talk about the biggest plate ever!!! It's my birthday and we've got a lot going on. My husband said the least we can do is grab lunch. Korean food sounded delicious so after running some errands we dropped by. Walked in and ordered at the counter and paid. There's seats and tables to eat there but we had to run home so opted to take to go. We ordered one mini kalbi, regular combo with meat jun and bbq chicken for my daughter to share and then a side mandoo. Food was ready in no time and it was piled high. The mini plate came with 2 side dishes and the regular came with 4. Our bag was so heavy and the food could barely survive the Togo container. Got home and we were super hungry but we barely put a dent in our regular plate! My husband enjoyed his plate and happy to say, we'd definitely come back. The sides were my favorite but I'd probably skip the kimchi next time. Not as flavorful as I had hoped.

There was no dine in option but at least there's tables outside. Food takes s lil bit to make, but not too long of a wait. Quantity of food is great, but flavor is kinda lacking. Vegetable sides were a little disappointing as they were a bit bland. Our mistake asking for a mild kimchi soup as it ended up coming out clear. At least we were able to get a small sauce from them to add in after. For the prices you'll pay, probably best to walk 50ft and get better options at Mililani BBQ.

Been coming here for years but never left a review. Most customers usually takeout here although there are a few tables to sit. It's a simple casual no frills place. I usually get the BBQ Beef and you can substitute rice to get the 5th side order. Food tastes good and portions are generous. This place is popular so you know the food must be good. The counter is usually well staffed so service is quick. Never had any complaints about food or service except that they accept cash only. It's good that they give the total price upfront when you make a phone order and tell you it's cash only. Parking for this shopping center is large but many times is full. Always a good spot to get Korean food in Mililani and the prices are reasonable compared to the nearby Korean restaurant across the courtyard.

We missed the Korean/Hawaiian Fusion barbeque when we left the Island in 2012. Tasty was one that we frequently visited for lunch as we worked nearby. It was not my favorite, but after this visit it moved to #1 as the other ones took a serious step backwards in quality & taste. Tasty was Tasty, from my fish Jun to my wife's soup and all the sides. The Staff was friendly, and there is seating inside & out. Clean dining area. Definitely #1 out of the four we revisited on our Island Homecoming.

    Kalbi
    Van K.

I eat here way too often It's something about that Kalbi, that bbq chicken, the way they scoop your 3-4 banchan choices, the way the Mac salad mixes with the white rice, that pickled daikon and carrot is top tier. This place is cash only! It has enough seating but I usually just bring it outside to sit on one of the tables provided. Awesome staff, and it's nice to see younger folks working. Nice job Tasty for employing our youth!

It's situated between Far East Sushi and the laundromat. There is plenty of free parking available throughout the shopping center. We visited on a Monday at 7:00 a.m. Please note that the restaurant will be undergoing renovations, so it's a good idea to call ahead to confirm their current hours. SERVICE: The woman who took our order was friendly and patient, especially since we were the only customers at the time. Our food was prepared fresh after ordering, and the wait was very short. TASTE: We ordered the Meat Jun Bowl, which included rice, sliced meat jun, scrambled eggs, diced pickled takuan, and long rice. The meat jun had good flavor, but unfortunately, no dipping sauce was provided. A packet of shoyu was included, but it wasn't a suitable substitute for the traditional meat jun sauce. Rating: 3/5 We also tried the Chicken Bowl, which came with rice, sliced BBQ chicken, diced pickled takuan, and long rice. The chicken had a delicious BBQ flavor, and the banchan complemented the dish well, making for a satisfying combination. Rating: 4/5 PRICE: From 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., the breakfast bowls are priced at $5.70, making them a very affordable option. OVERALL: Overall, it was an okay experience. The Chicken Bowl was the standout, while the Meat Jun Bowl could have been much better with the proper dipping sauce. I'm looking forward to visiting again after the renovations are complete and hope to see some improvements.

Yay! Another location for one of my favorite snacks!…read more First off, I like the location. I do a lot of errands and run a portion of my life in TC so to have this location is convenient for me. I know I shouldn't be eating this all the time, but I love it for when I don't want a full meal. I do miss the old food place that was in here, but at least when it left it provided a great, clean dine-in area for Mr. Cow. Honestly, as far as service, I don't know how to mess this up. You just take my order and then call my number when it's ready. I do notice that they may be the ones cooking it as well, but it's good to know that's how simple these hot dogs are. Overall, it's hard to mess this food up so it makes sense how it's able to expand so fast. Wouldn't be surprised if this place is a franchise. I also really appreciate that it has dippin' dots as well which is a great contrast to the food and there's not many dessert places out there. Or just many dippin' dots vendors out there in general. The best part about this is that it's just like the other locations, so you know what you get when you walk in. And when you think about it, that's hard to find in food establishments.

Love how spacious this Town Center of Mililani location has with a bunch of seating and seeing that they had Dippin' Dots and Ramyun Noodle station as well is not what I expected. After much indecisiveness it was my usual of "Fried Potato" which has chunks of diced potato fried along with the stick that I chose half mozzarella/half hot dog which is $1 extra no problem and it's a short wait as it's made to order and came out nice and hot where you need a moment before the burn but as I grabbed my box was a bit annoyed with the greasy hand print left on it that I was grateful I didn't just toss in my tote. What you also need to be mindful is that they do have a condiment station with six different sauces that you can bougie up your bite is a very nice offering though I did enjoy my bite as is and it was cooked perfectly and definitely filled me up to satisfy me until dinner. Thank you!

By far the worst dine-in experience I've ever had at any restaurant on the island…read more First off, when I walked in, I asked to dine in and took a seat in one of their booths. I was then told that I needed to order at the counter. At the time, I didn't think anything of it, so I placed my order and went back to my seat. Shortly after, I was told that I needed to pay. I explained again that I was dining in, but the cashier continued to tell me that I had to pay first. Since it was my first time at Dong Yangs, I just assumed that was how they did things. I received their complimentary soup that comes with their dine-in plates. Personally, I wasn't a fan of it. It tasted very salty and didn't have much flavor beyond the salt. It did come with silverware, so I assumed everything else would be provided normally. When my meal came out, however, it wasn't served on a plate. It came in a takeout container. Again, since it was my first time there, I assumed that was just how they served their food. I was told I ordered a regular Meat Jun plate and not a mini, which I was completely fine with. But when I opened the container, the portion looked more like a mini than a regular plate. There was only one layer of Meat Jun over what looked like four scoops of rice. The sides were disappointing, and the service wasn't much better. No water refill, no condiments, and no real check-in from the staff. The atmosphere was also extremely dead, which didn't help the overall experience. The Meat Jun itself was actually pretty good which I wa told is what they are known for, and I'll give them credit for that. But for a regular Meat Jun plate costing close to $20, I expected a much better portion. I received exactly 15 small pieces, and they weren't the traditional strips of Meat Jun I'm used to getting. Instead, they were small squares, roughly 1 inch by 1 inch. Overall, this was easily my worst dining experience on the island. The food had some potential, especially the Meat Jun, but the portion size, sides, service, and overall experience just weren't worth the price. One thing that really stood out to me and I couldn't believe was that the complimentary soup came with actual silverware, while my regular meal was served in a takeout container with a plastic fork. I honestly didn't understand that. Unfortunately, they won't be getting my business again, and I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience.

This spot is located on the corner of Kilani Ave and Cane St. I personally didn't go in as my Husbabe was the one in the area so I asked if he could stop by. This review is solely in regards to the bento food, not the side dishes that offer. Husbabe stated nice friendly younger worker that was there and a few people in line. We decided to go with LOTS of sides and try out the bento since everyone been hyping the food out here. I got the meatjun bento, which came with chap jae, daikon rice and furikake. My Husbabe got the fishjun bento which also came with the same sides. Let's talk about the bento. My honest review because I had really high hopes, but let's be clear before I go on. We are going to go back and try again, maybe earlier in the day as it was in the afternoon already (12ish). Okay so, the meatjun was really mushy, I thought maybe just that one piece I had, literally couldn't taste the meat, everything seemed mushed together. I tried a 2nd piece and samething. I was really sad :(. I really wanted it to be good. The chap jae was good. The bentos are room temp laid out on a table and not under any sort of warmer, so literally a grab and go. My husband said the same about his fishjun :( . The sauce that came with the meatjun was extremely odd, tasted heavy of some sort of soy sauce. We got gyoza and that was okay, the sauce was the same sauce as the meatjun, so I just made my own sauce. Now let's get to the sides. SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOD! My husband got the load of variety (pictured below). We are definitely gonna go back to try the bentos again and I gotta say the sides are so worth it tho and that kimchee, chef's kiss...
