I would give five stars just for how great the pizza is, the staff and fresh Parmesan cheese block, where else do you get that. But what really did it for me, after the pandemic she didn't raise or price gouge!! It took her a few years to slightly raise the prices and I commend her and the entire staff for actually carrying about their customers. Tasty Pizza has been a go to pizza shop for years. The newer location on 60th street is perfect. The old location was very small and had problems fitting it all of the folks that wanted to eat there. The new location is spacious, well designed, and looks great. The pizza was amazing as always, love the ability to shred your own Parmesan cheese on top of your pizza. We enjoyed our visit to the new location, I would definitely recommend it as a place to visit whether you are visiting Omaha or have lived there for years. read more

I've been to this newer location of Tasty Pizza on 60th Street many times now. The easiest way to order is through their own Tasty Pizza app and it's ready to pick up in 10-15 minutes or so. No need to pay via the app, you pay in person when picking it up. They have a different variety of pizza on special every week so it's possible to get a delicious individual sized meal for only $5-6. It's right on the way home from work so very convenient those nights I don't have the time or energy to cook. Ample parking, too. I finally had occasion to eat there solo recently before running errands (never good to shop on an empty stomach!). I sat at the end of a long table reading a book until my name was called that the spinach feta pizza was ready. The atmosphere was lively and everyone was so friendly, including the other customers. They also have salads, chocolate mousse and tiramisu to die for. I love Tasty Pizza and hope they stay in the neighborhood for a long time to come. read more

I can't say enough good things about Tasty Pizza! Ever since they were Tasty Pastry in the little red house on Leavenworth, they've been serving up the BEST food--especially pizza, of course! Ingredients are fresh and the crust is fluffy but crispy on the bottom. They use a conveyor oven and not a coal or wood oven, which to me takes away a bit of the character. If you're feeling a little frisky, you can step out on a limb with the spinach feta, bacon gouda, buffalo chicken, Hawaiian or Mediterranean. I don't think there's a wrong answer. Serving sizes are an 8" personal or a 16" large. Prices are fair too, $6 for the personal and $14-$16 for the large. I ordered the Meatball pizza, which was served with a liberal amount of pizza sauce, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and some gigantic meatballs, that lived up to their names. It was tasty. Filling too. My favorite pizza place in Omaha by far. We try to come every week to get the deal of the week ($15 large pizza). Love the margherita pizza, as well as the hawaiian and meatball. The crust is just unbeatable: crispy, chewy, bubbly, almost like it was fried. The ingredients used are so yummy. Never disappointed by the pizza. I've been meaning to try tasty pizza forever and we finally had the chance today. If you're looking for a straightforward and extremely affordable pizza, then Tasty is where you want to go. Even with inflation all around us and restaurants raising prices they still have a very fair price at $6 (currently) for most of their 8 inch pizzas. This is cheaper than some kids meals in other places and still satisfies even an adult appetite. How would rate the pizza? It's definitely a notch above all the chains but not quite like the fancy pizza you would play at other places. Crunchy on the outside and chewy in the middle. Medium thickness. Definitely a great value for what you get. Service is as expected since you order at the counter and wait until they call your name with your order. Self service for drinks and napkins which I appreciate and a semi-spacious eating area. Again, A no frills experience but all the kids LOVED their pizza so that alone makes my life easier as a Mom. If I'm "forced" to get beer somewhere, I always go for something, kinda, exotic or imported. I got a Peroni, an Italian beer. Tasted similar to Heineken. Liked it, for beer. A little quirk when ordering the beer. Now, for all you that are PC and get all butt hurt if you feel your civil rights are being violated when you have to show your ID for anything...don't order beer here. You're gonna get IDed. Yes, we BOTH got it. Do I care? Hell no!!!! I think it's funny. Why? I'm 76 yrs old, and look like an OLDER version of Sam Elliott (only better, of course). I've had plenty of chicken pizzas and this was by far the best. The main squeeze had the bacon Gouda and since i like Gouda I had a bite, or two. DELICIOUS! I like the family run atmosphere and it's simple menu. Since they make the dough fresh daily I don't mind eating the crust. I was excited to try Tasty's new location as I've been to their old location in that house a few times and always enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere of the new location left a lot to be desired. There were barely any decorations and the ones they had were from the last business. It looked like they had just opened but I want to say they've been there about a year now. I got the bacon and Gouda pizza and my partner got the supreme. The Gouda pizza was great but the supreme was just okay. The staff was nice but we only ordered two pizzas and they misunderstood and gave us and charged us for three. We'll take the third pepperoni home for leftovers. There's no real complaint with that just not what we thought we ordered. Overall, it wasn't what I remember. Perhaps, we'll try again but there are a lot of great places in Omaha to compete with. read more

You really can't beat a good pizza for five dollars it's a personal pizza it has a lot of toppings and great quality. My only knock is that you can't customize the pizzas at all I wanted hamburger and pepperoni on one pizza but they wouldn't do it even for an extra charge. So I ended up just getting one hamburger pizza and one pepperoni pizza which was fine because the pizzas are only five dollars. The staff was really friendly and helpful! When I got the pizza I almost burnt my tongue with how hot and fresh it was. I really liked the cheese they use they have a good sauce with good toppings. The total cost for my 8" margarita pizza was $4.66 with tax! You can pay on the iPad registers without needing assistance from an employee. It's beautiful that they don't have a tip option after you pay because I always feel guilted into tipping. I felt like tipping just for that reason alone! Tasty pizza is such a great hidden gem! Located on Leavenworth Street, it is easy to pass it by as it looks a lot like many of the houses in the neighborhood. I feel like this is by design because if everyone knew about this place, there would be lines out the door all the time! Tasty Pizza has certainly perfectly the art of the 'za. They are quite popular in the neighborhood and for nearby UNMC students. The space isn't too big but I've noticed a large number of people coming in to pick up their orders to go every time I've been in. When you enter, you walk right up to the counter to order and their a a good number of choices, but not too many as to be overwhelming. And talk about prices!! They are hard to beat for how delicious this pizza is! I also love that there is always a large wheel of Parmesan on the counter where you can grate yourself some fresh parm to top your pizza when it comes hot out of the oven. I believe they have extended their hours a little bit, so they are now open on Saturday evenings too (yay!). And while the parking lot is small, there is additional parking available at the church across the street as well as there is plentiful street parking in the neighborhood. read more

My comments: - Take out service was good, and friendly. - Crust was "ok". - Sauce was good and tasty, no pun intended. - Overall, not a lot of cheese on the pizza. - There could have been more Romano cheese (I love Romano, thus the reason for me ordering the cheese pizza, but I was disappointed in the small amount of Romano on the pizza). A different pizza restaurant in Omaha really knows how to put on the Romano, unlike these guys. - Price was high for an 8" cheese pizza ($6.75, plus tax). I really don't know why these guys were rated so highly, and due to it being a bit of a distance from my home, I won't be back. read more

I remember having some great pizza at their original location and decided to use them for a New Years party. I ordered 4 large "Take and Bake" pizzas - hamburger-mushroom, Hawaiian, and 2 Supremes, hoping they would be as good as I remembered. When I called in, a friendly voice took my order efficiently and let me know it would be ready in about 20 minutes. When I got there (in about 18 minutes) they were ready to go! Checkout was a breeze. On to the party! We cooked up the pizzas as instructed on the box label and served. I was thrilled with all three flavors and so were my guests (it became a point of enthusiastic discussion for a while). I really don't know how they strike such a great balance of savory/salty/meaty, but they were all delicious - especially the supreme. As an added bonus, I bought more than I needed and had about half a pizza's worth left over. I had some over the next few days and they taste just as good reheated (Tip: don't use your microwave - use oven or air fryer - makes a huge difference). New favorite pizza place! First thought...that crust--yummm! It's hard to explain...like a New York thin crust, crisp but still soft. Super fresh, just like the ingredients they put on it. They highlight the 8" pizzas on the menu boards, between $5-$7 per pizza, but they make larger ones too. The flavors offer a good variety; cheese, Mediterranean, bacon and Gouda, etc... We also ordered the chocolate mousse--TRY THIS. It's a dense yet light not overly sweet chocolate flavor with whip cream and chocolate shavings. They also offer Limoncello and Tiramisu. To be completely honest, I about ordered these also to-go but would have eaten them all upon arriving home. We fed our family of four for under $30 (one pop, 4 pizzas, and a mousse) which is really reasonable and everyone got what they wanted. It is a little smaller on the inside, with five two-person tables, but we just split into two. People there were awesome too! read more
