Inside, you can find a paper waiting list where you can write your name down and the number on your party. There is very little space for waiting so they do request customers to wait outside. The space is very compact and there is very little space. On a cold day, I would recommend to wear a little more layers since the cold air does escape in occasionally. Once you get seated at a table, they will give you a tablet to order your food. Be aware that you can actually modify your pot after you add it to the shopping cart. On average I have waited 20-30 minutes for my meal before so come if you're not too hungry. They are in the very least attentive enough to keep your waters filled. ==================== ======= [Food] ======= When your food comes, your pot will come to your table with a flame on to heat up your food. Some pots are already pre-cooked but some pots are not. Be sure that if you order something extra on the side, such as instant noodles, that you keep your pot flame running. I got everything I ordered as expected. We usually go with the lamb pot and also the curry pot. We went with the same this time and it's just as good as I remembered it. The flavors were plentiful and the portion was a good size as well. They come in a large plastic bowl container with a red lid. Yeah... probably going to keep and reuse these bowls as we always lose Tupperware containers when family comes over and take leftovers. Don't judge me. Just a tip. This is not the type of food which is optimized for takeout. I've learned this from ordering Pho and trying to eat it at work. I'm not going to go much into this here but try it and you will see what I mean. Although I would say Tasty pot is better suited. I recommend bringing the food home and boiling a pot of water. You will find if you just eat the food as is it's not as good and satisfying as you remembered eating at the restaurant as by the time you're home it's usually luke warm and some of the soup has absorbed into the food. They leave enough space in the bowls for you to pour your boiled water in. We did this for all four bowls for the family and it's quick and efficient. We heard good things about this restaurant and we enjoy our hot pot so we made it a point to drop in on a Saturday night. The place was pretty busy, even for 8pm. That being the case, the staff took our order even before we were seated. There are some food allergies in our family so we made it a point to ask about the ingredients and we specifically asked for no egg in one of the pots due to an allergy. When the pots came out, we began eating and saw some egg in the pot we requested no egg in. We called the waiter over and he mumbled something about them not taking all of the egg out, but it looks like there was more than just egg residue in there to me. And thankfully it wasn't a life threatening issue, because even just a bit of egg in there could have been a serious issue. He took the pot away and brought back another one without egg in it but no apologies or anything else. Boo. I would have given this place 3 stars if we didn't have the egg issue. The food was decent, a nice variety of stuff in the pot and lots of pots to choose from. However, I don't think the value is good, definitely not enough food in there for me to make it worth the value.
