Do they have beer? And if not.. can we bring our own?

No they don't have alcohol, and you can't bring your own unfortunately

    What are the Vegan options?

Doubt any. The broth have some sort of meats or eggs or fish flavoring in it.

Are they still open for business? Phone number is not working anymore!

Yes, they are open. Not sure about the phone but we were just there last weekend.

Do you have any vegan options?

Yes they do have two types of vegan options, they are the Thai and tomato flavor veggie hot soups

When do you stop accepting customers before closing time? We came in at 8:35pm. That's 25 mins before closing time. Even your sign said 'OPEN. Come in'. However, they didn't take us.

I'm just a customer so I don't know what their official policy is but it takes about 20 minutes for them to make your food after you order so that wouldn't be enough time.…

    Are there any non-seafood options?

Yes! There's one with meat and there's a vegetarian option as well. They have many different style pots!

Anybody know if they're open for takeout?

I was at the Grocery store next to it last week and it was closed.

Is it all u can eat?

No, it is not all you can eat. It is individualized hot pot.

What does the Thai option for the broth taste like?

Like Tom Yum, which is a shrimp flavored with lemongrass hot and sour soup.

    Vegan or vegetarian options?

    Yes

The broths are so flavorful, and I love that it's all-you-can-eat. When you sit down, you order your broth, choice of meat, and appetizers from your server, all of which are included with the unlimited hot pot. After that, you grab a plate and head to the buffet where you can load up on vegetables, noodles, seafood, and so many other options. They have a huge seafood selection, which is one of my favorite parts. There's also a station where you can make your own dipping sauce exactly how you like it, plus a little dessert section with cookies to finish off your meal. The atmosphere is super laid back, making it a great spot to stop by after work without feeling like you need to dress up. They had the World Cup playing on some TVs and anime on others, which made the vibe even more fun. My only downside was their pricing. When I first went, they had a "summer deal" where unlimited hot pot was around $25. When I came back in July, the promotion had already ended. I think calling it a "June special" instead of a "summer deal" would have been less confusing. Overall, I definitely recommend PK Shabu if you're looking for a great all-you-can-eat hot pot spot with quality broths, tons of fresh options, and a relaxed atmosphere!

It's clean here which is a plus and it's big so it's roomy to get your veggies and meat.

With rising food prices, I thought it was a great value. The service was excellent, which can sometimes be hit or miss at small casual spots, and the ambience was nice. The broth and ingredients were flavorful, and I appreciated the sauces available at the table. The fire-broiled soup was aromatic without being overpowering. The food did take a little while to come out, and the broth was slightly gritty. Maybe possibly due to the soup I chose. I also noticed the bowls are shallow and packed with meat and vegetables, so there wasn't much actual soup. When I asked about it, I was told additional broth would be an extra charge, which was a bit disappointing. That said and regardless, everything tasted fresh and delicious, and I would definitely come back.

Regardless of how busy they are, they almost always get the order wrong. The photos and menus are outdated, so dont expect to get what you ordered that way either. My dad ordered the thai hot pot and they dont include half of the ingredients they list anymore. The server kept insinuating the photo was misleading, no its the listed ingredients you have that you arent including thats misleading. Tbh there are better hot pot places for cheaper prices AND include all ingredients they market.

That said, my partner and I got the XL Beef Combo 1 and ended up having to take home a third of it. Meat quality is great, and portions are good. They have the best cucumber kimchi I've ever had, and fantastic kimchi soup that's not too spicy. The beef belly and bulgogi were our favorite meats. Many of their options like the green salad, bulgogi, marinated ribs, and vegetables were not nearly as sweet as I often find them in other KBBQ joints, which was a great change. The service is great. I didn't feel waited on, I felt like I was just generally seen. There's a doorbell if you need something quickly. Otherwise all staff were super friendly and anticipated our needs with grill changes which was nice. The atmosphere is great. It's small and casual but very comfortable and upscale at the same time. It feels very relaxed while maintaining a high standard. The music is great (for us), all kinds of EDM at a good volume. And no TVs, which is actually nice - it let us focus on the vibes, the food, and each other. Many other parties were laughing and having a good time. We spent about 130 between the two of us, having ordered an XL combo and an extra side (chicken buldak - I couldn't eat the noodles but the chicken was bomb). It was a great way to spend a Friday night. We plan to make this a regular spot in our rotation - we still have a lot of sides and meats to try. Well done, please keep it up. Would recommend.

Any waiter that hears the bell comes to your table to assist. The response never took longer than 20 seconds most of the time. To start the appetizer tray at the beginning is an awesome touch that I'm not used to in other places I have tried. It kind of took the guess work out of ordering in my opinion so I only had to focus on what meat or dish I wanted since my sides were already selected and refillable for free through the course of the meal. We ordered the seafood sundubu, beef bulgogi, and sweat and spicy korean fried chicken wings. The portion size was very generous on the wings and on the crispier side which my wife prefers. The seafood sundubu was delicious and was pleasantly surprised to see a decent amount of tofu and seafood types in the dish. The beef bulgogi was also tasty and as I said before just scratched that korean food craving that we had. This has been added to our rotation of date night locations for us! I've been wanting to try this place ever since they opened and I left today a bit disappointed…read more I ordered the wagyu brisket mini-hotpot-for-one and a Thai fried rice. The hotpot was a bit bland and I had to add quite a bit of soy sauce to taste anything as I went with the Szechuan broth. The fishball with roe had a really off putting taste to it either it was old or a different brand used because they are typically quite good. This is the first time where I was unable to eat it due to the flavor and texture. Traditionally hotpot is served with a side of dipping sauce to accommodate with the proteins/veggies. Since there wasn't any, the only option was soy sauce lol... Overall quite bland and pricey for what you get compared to other places. The Thai fried rice was interesting. I wasn't sure what was "Thai" about it because it tasted like a typical fried rice. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It had good flavor compared to the bland hotpot. At the time of my visit it was pretty empty and no one checked on us the entirety of the meal and I had to stand up to try and find a server to check out. Maybe the entryway blocks the view of the servers? Idk. The silverware was also dirty. Asked for a new spoon and there was a small food but stuck on it alongside my plate having some oil on it. I dont see myself coming back here but I do wish them the best. Theres not a lot of asian businesses in East Mesa, especially ones that offer hotpot.
