To be clear, this location doesn't offer the full menu, they only serve hot pot, which is fine with me. The portion sizes and prices are pretty consistent with the other locations I've been to. They always seem a little short-staffed, so it can take a while if you need something. That said, the hot pot comes out pretty quickly. Love having Tasty Pot just a few mins from my house. All the restaurants in the neighborhood close pretty early but not Tasty Pot which is open til 10 pm on weekends allowing me to sneak in late night and get a nice "healthy" hot pot meal that is the perfect late dinner meal that is comforting before bedtime. Food always comes out quick here at this location and they never mess up your order. It's nice to visit a place maybe 25+ times in a short time frame and have every order be accurate with zero issues. Is it the best hot pot ever? Tasty Pot reminded me of the diy traditional hot pot. But Tasty Pot does it for you. Very tasty and so many different choices. Ingredients were top quality! We had: Taiwanese Spicy Hot Soup - Loved the combination of seafood and meat. Biggest discovery was the blood rice cakes. So tasty. Lamb Hot Soup - lamb was very high quality and not at all gamey. I've been to other Tasty Pot locations and this one is more esthetically pleasing but it is a little awkward to sit at the booths besides the window where the Starbucks drive thru is and there are cars waiting in line. Haven't been to the Beaverton location in awhile so not sure if they have it as well now but ordered are placed with iPads. Service is generally good except for the last Saturday where we were barely checked in on. I've had the beef, curry, japanese miso, taiwanese spicy, thai flavor, and sichuan at this location. Roe fish balls have been added on a couple times. Thai is my usual favorite but I found it and the rest of the broths here watered down from what I remember in comparison to other locations. The sides are mid-range. Drinks are on the higher end. The hotpot size is more for individual though still enough to share or for family style with added sides. They go around to refill broth to your pot as requested. The hotpot stayed hot throughout our meal. We ordered Seafood Lobster with original broth for $21.99. You can get Seafood Lobster with Thai broth. It's super affordable and cheap for a whole lobster tail! The original broth was clear, kept its flavor and taste through the end. I never understand or care for the imitation crab!!!!! Loved all the mushrooms and knots seaweed came with it. Didn't care much for the fish ball. Extremely disappointed with only 1 small piece of taro!!!!! The price included clear noodle and a bowl of steamed rice. You can get instant noodle for $1.50 extra. Size ordered: Tempura, Pork Blood Rice Cake, Fish Tofu, $4.70 each. I wouldn't order them again. I didn't taste any actual pork blood; more like sticky rice paste in cubes. The fish tofu looked tofu like fried and texture tasted like fish balls. Tempura was soggy but I expected lightly bread and fried. Size of Quail Egg, $3.00 for 8 canned quail egg saved the day from disappointment of tempura, pork blood rice cake, and fish tofu. Two bottles of sauce at each table. One is soybean paste. The other is water down soy sauce I barely tasted any flavor. Milk Creme Black Tea, $6.75 with 0.75 cent for each topping (pudding and grass jelly), total of $8.25: it was alright, nothing stood out. I was able to select sugar and ice level on this drink but not all drinks have this option. You order from a tablet and pay for with a printed receipt. Yay! So happy not to have to drive to Beaverton for Tasty Pot anymore! The restaurant was clean and wheelchair accessible with booth seating and table seating. Boba drinks were okay, can't adjust sweetness level. The food, however was delicious. Wish they had more noodle option but all of our items were very good and Good portion sizes. I got the Japanese miso hot soup with rice on the side and medium spice level. It was good and not very spicy at all. The broth has a great flavor. The udon noodles are delicious. There are lots of seafood like clams, roe fish balls, a crab piece and more. These combine to make a delicious mix and it is not bad for the price at all. Food: First time having tasty pot without trying the main Beaverton location. Overall not bad but wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. Concept is a personal hotpot with picking your base and toppings from 10-12 selections, picking a spice level and having rice, vermicelli noodles, or added instant ramen noodles (1.50 extra). At first glance it looks huge, its on an elevated plate with a candle underneath to keep the pot warm. Toppings are plentiful with variety. However, overall quality is not that great. Soup tastes like it was premade with packets or bulk soup bases instead of traditionally boiled down with using bone broth, with an occasional gritty taste (standard pulling from Teo BBH and Yang Kee). Makes me think the toppings make up for the lack of depth and flavor in the soup. Boba: Skip it. Watered down tea with lots of creamer, mix of mushy and normal boba. Service: Nothing special but nothing bad. Ambiance: Beautiful place to sit. Great date night place to go. Overall: I would need to try again in a couple more times to make sure its not a one off thing at this location. Have not tried the Beaverton location yet! In a pinch, not a bad place to get noodles and soup. But I would make the drive further to go somewhere else if given the opportunity. read more

First time here. We came came in and we're told to sit where we wanted. There were three of us and she came over and she said she wanted us to move to a different booth. We said we didn't want to and she said she wanted us too. So we picked our stuff up and moved to a different booth. That was our first impression. Then we ordered and when you order you're given an iPad and you have to put the order in yourself, not sure I like that. They also don't give you the option of leaving anything out of your meal, let's say cabbage as I can't have cabbage. We ordered potstickers, the vegetarian hot pot and the lamb hot pot. The potstickers were good the hot pot not so much. The broth was very watery on both of them and tasted like squeezed out soy water no flavor and what flavor was there was fishy tasting. then we all had to pick out what we didn't want or could not eat want because we weren't allowed to make any changes or requests. Service - she was not real friendly, and not helpful at all. Felt like she was annoyed we were there. Overall - None of us will return, there just wasn't enough flavor in their small menu for the hot pot broth and no deviating. But if you want potstickers, they were good.
