I was close by, starving and wanted to try the soup, I went to order and ask what her favorite was. She mentioned a couple of the soups and then the Beef sizzling plate. That sounded so good, with udon noodles, onions, corn, cheese and a fried egg. Of course that's what I ordered, with all the extras. I was going to take it home, but instead thought it would taste better on the sizzling plate. I was seated and patiently waited. Once it arrived I was instructed to mix it together well and enjoy. It was so full of flavor and tasty. I will have to make another trip to actually try the soup, I am very happy I decided to stop here today. Thank you.

Even though we didn't order the hot pot, we still had a really good experience at Tasty Pot! The food was overall delicious and definitely worth the visit. Workers were friendly! Ambiance good for friends and family! The popcorn chicken was a standout -- super flavorful and crispy. The beef skewers were also really yummy and well-seasoned. Rice was solid and did the job. The torpedo shrimp and the pork & shrimp egg rolls were just okay -- not bad, but not the highlight of the meal. For drinks, the taro milk tea with boba was good and satisfying. The Thai tea was okay, nothing special but still enjoyable. Overall, a solid spot with tasty food and good variety. Next time we'll probably try the hot pot, but even ordering off the appetizer menu was worth it!

Delicious beef hot pot with a side of white rice. Enough for two people. Clean place, good environment to sit as well. Service was great, staff was welcoming

Unfortunately, the flavors in the food were lacking. I had read that from others and even tried to add the available sauces. However, the sauces didn't do much and I was left wanting to find a way to enjoy the meal. Fortunately, the boba tea was good and I ordered a side of chicken skewers which tasted more fresh. Also, the setup is odd because you sit down and order using your phone yet at the end you walk up to pay. Not sure why we couldnt just pay using our phone since the location forces you to order using a phone. There is staff around that bring out the food and beverages, so there is some human interaction. When the servers were around, they were friendly. I wanted to like this place but the tasty pot was not worth it. For a place that features a hot pot, that meal is not there speciality. Back to the drawing board to explore other hot pots...

Super tasty food, I got the beef skillet with oden noodles. I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes. The lunch special comes with a green or black sweetened tea which are good as well. Cayden I think was the kids name that helped me as well as a girl who went over the menu with me. Very friendly people. The place is small and cozy vibe.

I was about to write a review for boiling poi*t, but I decided to come back and get to the review for tasty pot. The overall ambiance was a bit unsettling with their tables not being the cleanest, the sauce containers having what seemed to be some residue as well as some bugs on there, and it just didn't feel the greatest. The service was good and was helpful with our meal, and the food itself was good, not great. There definitely could have been more flavors since the broth tastes a bit watered down. I was just overall put off by the ambiance and bugs on our table.

I was craving hotpot today and was so happy there was a Tasty Pot in the area! This was my first time trying the cheesy pot and it was so good. I love how the cheese slowly melts on top of the meat. Service was good. Drinks were delicious as well I liked the creame top wintermelon tea a lot! Skewers were great too!

The staff is super friendly and always attentive. The food is very flavorful and the portions are decent. The food wasn't spicy but yet it carried lots of flavor. The restaurant looks small, yet it can fit lots of people. The restaurant is modern and clean. Very relaxed ambiance. Tons of parking space

Winter time calls for a nice bowl of hot soup and Tasty Pot is the perfect spot! I came here during lunch time with my mom and sister and it wasn't busy. There were plenty of chairs and tables indoors. There was a lot of light coming in through the big windows which I liked! I ordered the seafood lobster hot pot, and it was amazing! The price point for it is definitely cheap because you get so much food in your bowl. I even had some leftover to go and ate it later for dinner. We also ordered the fried calamari for appetizer and it was bomb! I would definitely come back again!

My husband and I have dined in plenty of times, and each time we've always had a great experience with the food and staff. My go-to is always the Thai hot pot and my husband really enjoys the sizzling beef plate. The popcorn chicken they offer is tasty and crispy too! I think it's a great price for all of the food you're getting. If you dine in during their lunch hours, you get a free green or black tea. Both are really good and I wished they offered this complimentary drink during dinner too. You order via a QR code with your phone, or you can always order with the staff if you're not tech savvy. There are sauces that are left on the table to add to your liking. The restaurant is always super clean and there's usually plenty of tables. The longest we've ever waited was 5 minutes. This is usually our go-to, on rotation, restaurant when we want to eat out. Will definitely be back :)

This was my first time visiting Tasty Pot. I was curious to try it when it first opened, but after looking at the menu, I decided it didn't really appeal to me. However, tonight we were looking to try someplace new and casual, so we decided to give it a try. It is very casual inside - open space with several tables and booths. You order on your phone and they bring it out to you. The employees were friendly and helpful. My son ordered the fried lobster balls, and I ordered the sizzling beef plate with udon noodles and mushroom sauce. My husband had the sichuan flavor hot soup. The lobster balls tasted a bit rubbery, like imitation crabmeat. My sizzling beef was actually pretty good, but a little too salty for my liking. My husband was enjoying his soup at first, but halfway through eating it, he too, felt it was overly salty and could not finish it. I also ordered a peach green tea which I really liked. My son had a honeydew slush which I took a sip of and thought it was pretty good, but my son didn't care for it. Prices were reasonable, and service was good. Although we didn't love our meal, we decided we were glad we finally tried Tasty Pot. I could see why some people like it, but it just wasn't for us.

The best soup with lamb and tofu!

They have the Best soup in town! Service can be challenging since it's always busy and they need more manpower. Place is a little bit small especially now that's it's getting popular, they have a lot of customers.

Everything from customer service, pricing, portions, and quality has been nothing short of outstanding. Tucked next to the Eastern side of the food hall, you'll find this modest selling spot. There isn't seating with them, so you must find a spot in the general area, no problems there. The garlic noodles will have real chopped garlic with a delicious flavoring that will have you satisfied with a stinky breath (not sorry) and the pork belly bao is insanely tender, you'll think you're not even chewing over how soft it is. It's garnished with a mustard topping on a steamed bun. Both of these items were on happy hour and I was fulfilled while not breaking the bank. The owner really does take pride in his work and the quality he produces for us, always happy to support those who bring the passion to the kitchen. YUM

Much of the menu my mom used to make so there was the high nostalgia factor. Their prices are really good and food was decent. There's a take out area on one side of the restaurant complete with a large fridge with a huge variety of frozen items you can take home and heat up or cook - this includes soups , stews , dumplings etc. They also have some Taiwanese desserts - their shaved ice was massive though they kinda skimp on the amount of toppings you get. We ordered a variety of dishes - their star does seem to be their combo plates which came with hearty portion of your chosen item, homemade sides and a drink choice (includes milk tea, cold teas, sodas) . My only gripe was the older lady who works there (maybe she's the owner?) - she was a bit rude. We had a little bit of a wait so we were in the take out area and perusing the frozen items and she told us we had to wait outside. Bruh? There's no one in this area. We thought we were the only ones being shoo'd out but later saw her trying to shoo out a bunch of people waiting for their online orders, saying in mandarin that too many people inside is bad for air quality. LOL Then when we finally got seated she told us that it would take 40 minutes for us to get our food. And she rushed my daughter to order saying she has to leave and will have to come back if she doesn't order right then. My dad at this point was hangry and wanted to split, but my sis and I were like we drove alllll the way here. Let's just wait for the food. So of course the food comes out in maybe 10 minutes on the first dish and maybe 20 minutes on the last dish. We figure the lady is trying to weed out the unfaithful lmaooo. Later when we were done with our meal , my dad asked if we can have our desserts and the lady was like (in mandarin) "you're not the only one waiting for dessert. A lot of other people are too". Say what ? Odd customer service, ok food , but I dunno if I would go hella out of my way to come back when there's plenty of tasty Taiwanese options in the San Gabriel area. Love the big Taiwan flag on display though!

Furthermore, when we ordered extra noodles for my son's beef noodle soup, the original portion seemed intentionally smaller, defeating the purpose of paying for the add-on. Between the degraded service and the "nickel-and-diming" atmosphere, it is no longer worth the 30-minute drive. The vibe has changed, and the pleasure of dining here is gone.
