I have been to different Delicious Food Corner. This is the worst one so far. We have been to this location before. Last experience is maybe 2 stars. This time food is bad . I ordered a shredded pork fried noodle. My way fe has the pan fried pork chop with black pepper sauce. Compare to other locations I seriously doubt if the chef inside knows what they are doing. For the noodle at other locations is light in color almost pale white. But the one I had in here is very dark. Looks like they mixed in a lot of dark soy sauce. Pork chop has too much meat tenderizer it completely not taste of pork meat. And the sauce is very thick and lumpy. You don't really want to dip your meat in it. Very bad experience wish I had gone to other branches or went across the road to restaurant opposite side. read more

I particularly like their breakfasts. This is the only HK style Cafe in the area that offers a dim sum combination breakfast, besides other Chinese or western style breakfasts. All waiters and waitresses are friendly. Services are not fast as this is general situation among most restaurants. Parking is easy. read more

I ordered a bolo bun with butter and it was SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! The Fish Congee was also really tasty. It was creamy and the fish was very soft. However, they forgot the soy sauce so the service was "meh". The walls were painted white so I got a sense of peace. I came in here for lunch recently on a Friday. We were nearing the end of the lunch rush. Parking lot was full. Some of their lunch specials were over. We ordered everything with less salt and less oil, sadly, it was still too salty and oily --- so we will not be going back. We had the shrimp and eggs with fried flat rice noodles, beef fried rice. Service was lacking. We were seated next to a table of regulars who received excellent service. Their drinks were refilled without asking. My lemon iced tea was empty and they didnt bother to refill mine even though they refilled my neighbors. Overall 2.5 stars. Not sure what their dim sum tastes like and Im not inclined to come back to try it either. read more

Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. We were seated right away and as we ordered, the waitress let us know it would be a better value to order a certain combo to get everything we wanted and free drinks. Space was open and a little loud but not unbearably so. Bathrooms were very clean. Went there with a high expectation to try this newly open restaurant but unfortunately it was a total disappointment. Service was unprofessional. Food portion was small and kinda overpriced. 5/5 food . 1/5 service. I do not recommend for dining in if you want a quick dining experience. I always do pickup at this location and the food is ready very fast. Consistent with other DFCs. However dined in for the first time on a Friday morning and was disappointed at how non existent the service was. They were very short staffed so the waiters were too busy cleaning tables. I don't know why they don't have designated busboys. I can't imagine what weekends must be like. We had to flag down the waiter to both order and to get the check. The food comes out fast but so much time was wasted flagging down the servers. I almost thought about leaving after sitting there for ten mins without ordering or anyone coming by. The servers were just cleaning tables the whole time. They never look up at their customers. And even after asking for the check they forgot and kept cleaning tables so we had to hunt down a different server. Quite disappointing dining experience since I really hyped up DFC to a friend who was there to try it for the first time. I had a much better dine in experience at other DFC's so I won't be back here again, only for take out. read more

This is my favorite Cantonese tea restaurant in Los Angeles! It's also a great place to gather with friends. Hong Kong-style pineapple buns and spicy minced pork and egg rice are my favorites, and this time we also ordered BBQ pork, which is very authentic. If you are here for lunch, I would also recommend the Steamed Flour Roll with Beef. The restaurant has a great ambiance, a spacious parking lot, friendly waitstaff, and very affordable prices for the food. Highly recommended! read more

The bench was so uncomfortable especially we spent over $200 for dinner for six but sitting at the bench. There was absolutely no value for their dishes as well. They charged $29 for a shrimp dish for 10 shrimps and the shrimps were just ok but not super fresh. We also came for breakfast one other time, their main focus for breakfast was dim sum and they charge $14 for 2 choices of dim sum! To be fair, the dim sum we ordered were good but not Sea Harbor prices! The parking lot is big but for some reasons, the patrons seem to drive like maniacs. One more point that motivated me to write this review, the dinner entries is supposed to accompany one plain rice plate. The waiting staff deliberately skipped bringing the rice plates over to save cost, really dishonest considering the prices they charge. The place has changed hands several times. We hoped this one will stick around longer. We had been here a couple of times and did a lot of take-outs as well. The food is acceptable. Price is okay. It may deserve 3 or 4 stars for the food. However, two incidents made me took away at least 1 star each time. A couple of months back, we were having dinner around 6:30 pm, a cleaner started to mop the floor literally everywhere. We did not need to put up our feet but felt very uncomfortable with the wet mop swishing along with water everywhere. Yesterday was even worse. A stack of plates was put down on our table. The bottom one had 4 to 5 pieces of Ho Fun (flat noodles). We asked the server to change. He walked away with the plates, dumped the bottom one to a tray, used some kind of cloth to wipe the other plates and gave them back to us, all before our own eyes. So disgusting! We had no choice but walked out and went to a nearby restaurant. I hope the management can see this review and give better training to the servers. I hope they can improve. I ordered the sweet and sour pork, it's a much smaller serving size compared to other branches. The pork is dry and tastes very bad. Service goes a long way for most businesses. The food could be delicious and I still wouldn't want to be treated like crap. The lady at the front desk seems to be extremely friendly with other Cantonese speaking customers, but extremely rude to others who don't speak Cantonese. She literally pointed towards a general direction at an empty table and said "GO!" As if I'm some dog waiting for her command. She smiles at everyone else except me and my family. Then when we were ready to pay for our meal, she walks off saying "Come Out" to go pay for our meal. Seriously, what the F?? There are plenty of Hong Kong style restaurants like this.
