5/5 - Perfect Spot for Beef Noodle Soup This place absolutely nails it! The beef noodle soup is hands down one of the best I've ever had. The broth is rich and flavorful without being too salty or oily. Noodles were cooked to that perfect balance of soft and bouncy--exactly how they should be. And the beef? Melt-in-your-mouth tender. I've had my fair share of noodle soups, and this one truly stands out. You can tell there's care in the preparation, and everything comes together in a way that just hits the spot. 10/10, would come back again and again.

A hole-in-the-wall, esoteric shop in the midst of an unassuming Arcadia plaza (the infamous "Yogurtland plaza"). Although not the first place you would think to go to for a fancy sit-down meal, the quality of the food and friendliness of the service more than makes up for the modest ambience. My favorite dish of the night was the fried porkchop rice, which had the flavor, texture (still very crispy!) and depth of umami comparable to anything I had in Taiwan. Overall, would recommend a visit to this place when nearby in Arcadia for some real Asian comfort food.

I recommend... everything They accept credit card (minimum $20?) Frozen dumpling was cash only (for my order).

I wish I found this place sooner, it's so yummy! We ordered tomato noodles and beef noodle soup and both were amazing! Both dishes are full of flavor and had the most perfectly cooked noodles. The portions are generous and the meat is so juicy and tender. My husband and I will definitely be back :)

I really like their beef shank/slices. My children who are vegetarians really like their vegetarian bentos. I don't really know where else to get lu wei so this spot is it for me!

Call ahead to order but don't be discouraged if they don't pick up. There's usually only one person running the front and she's extremely busy! Even ordering at the store, the wait for your food usually takes about 15 minutes. I recommend calling before the 11:30 lunch rush!! I really like their special lunch boxes! The smoked chicken comes in a generous portion, I usually can split it for two meals. Their beef shank is also very tasty and comes with a yummy savory sauce. I also really like their sesame chicken thin noodles - so good on cold winter days!! They also have cold side dishes available in a fridge right by the door and frozen dumplings which are really good if you're too lazy to go out and get food. Just boil in hot water and enjoy!!!

I feel so lucky to live around the 626 area, there are so many delicious Taiwanese restaurants and Cozy Cafe is definitely one of them. It been 10 years since I visited Cozy Cafe. Restaurant is now under new owner but the dishes are still very Taiwanese and the flavors are much better now! During COVID, many restaurant needs to raise the price to survive, but Cozy Cafe kept the same affordable pricing while the portion is still the same! Once you enter the store, you will see the refrigerator with over 30 side dishes, its hard to try them all at once... Its hard to find a Taiwanese Restaurant that sells so many kind of the side dishes. They are all made fresh everyday in a very limited amount, if you wan to get them, make sure you call to reserve before they sold out at noon! I ordered Unagi Bento Box, Pork Chop Bento Box, Smoked Duck, Simmered Pork Shank, Fried Roll. Don't need to mention how delicious the unagi & pork chop is! The side dishes that comes with the bento, minced pork & vegetable is so good to go with the rice! DO NOT MISS the Smoked Duck & Simmered Pork Shank, its super popular & YUMYUM!!! - Fried Roll - Smoked Duck - Unagi Bento Box - Pork Chop Bento Box - Simmered Pork Shank

Solid homey food at reasonable prices. Bento boxes are great for takeout. Go to choices are chicken and pork chop or stewed beef and smoked chicken. Noodle soups are also good. Beef noodle or pork and preserved vegetables are nice on a cold day.

You walk in thinking, "I'll just grab a quick bowl," and suddenly there's a noodle master stretching dough like he's training for the Olympics. Their Lanzhou-style noodles? Fresh, chewy, and honestly a little too good--they'll ruin instant ramen for you forever. The Lan noodle soup is so rich and savory. The died mixed noodle feels like a warm hug... if hugs came with chili oil and a kick that sneaks up on you. It's a small, busy spot, so yeah, you might wait--but don't worry, the line moves fast. Plus, it gives you time to emotionally prepare for choosing your noodle shape. Thin? Wide? Triangle? This is not a decision to take lightly. One wrong move and you'll be thinking about it halfway through your bowl like, "I should've gone wider."

They have a small and large sweet and sour chicken rice plate. I had gotten the small size just to try it out, but it was surprisingly good (5/5). The pork sandwich bun was decent (4/5) since the beef was tasty but the sandwich bun could be better. We also had the traditional beef noodle soups with either the wide flat and triangle ones. You can't go wrong with these freshly made pulled noodles, and they are very hearty portions. Flavor is good and the beef is very tender. The smashed cucumbers were decent also (4/5), but nothing spectacular about them. Service is very quick, attentive and pleasant. This is a good go to spot for a quick meal. The dining room doesn't seat a lot of people so try not to come during busy dining hours on weekends to avoid a long wait.

The mazesoba was a bit on the salty side, but it wasn't something that bothered me. The first thing we noticed when walking in was TBaar, a boba tea shop. The ramen restaurant is located right next door inside the same space. What surprised me was that their menu includes Taiwanese-style gua bao and popcorn chicken! It feels like an Asian fusion concept created with the American market in mind. This is currently their only location in California, with another location in Las Vegas. Most of their other locations are on the East Coast and in Illinois. The interior is definitely unique, with large lanterns, archways, honeycomb-style seating, individual dining areas, and lots of decorative details throughout the space. Luckily, we arrived before 6 PM and got seated right away. Not long after we sat down, a crowd started coming in and there was already a line forming. After looking through the menu for a while, we decided to order: #1 Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen (Black Garlic) $17.99 (They mentioned this one has sold over 500,000 bowls nationwide.) My husband ordered this one and tried all the broths. He thought this had the best flavor overall. #2 Braised Pork Belly Ramen $18.99 (This was one of their featured menu items in 2024.) This was my choice. The noodles were generous, and the pork belly was so dark in color that it almost looked like beef. We actually had to double-check that it was pork! #3 Mega Ramen (Tempura) $19.99 The garlic flavor was quite strong in this broth. #6 Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen $18.99 (This is one of their most popular choices in New York.) It does have a noticeable level of spice, so if you can only handle a little heat, this one might not be the best choice. Side dishes: Gua Bao (2 pcs) $9.49 Popcorn Chicken (3 orders) $26.97 Pan-fried Dumplings $8.99 Japanese Fries (2 orders) $15.98 Strawberry Banana Smoothie $6 One fun detail: the bottom of each ramen bowl has a message showing either a prize or a "thank you for visiting." Out of our four bowls, one came with a dessert coupon, but it can only be used on a future visit. Overall, the ramen was pretty good and the presentation was fun. The only downside was that my mouth felt quite dry afterward, probably because the broth was on the heavier side. Kyuramen x TBaar - Arcadia 7 Las Tunas Dr Suite B, Arcadia, CA 91007

Food: I ordered the Tokyo tonkotsu shouyu ramen with white garlic and fresh passion fruit tea with rainbow jelly with 25% ice and 25% sweetness. I like that we can customize the sweetness and ice level. Although my drink was supposed to be 25% sweet, it still felt a bit too sweet to me TBH. Thankfully, I just mixed it with water to dilute it. The rainbow jellies were super soft and flavorful. People who know me know that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ramen. I'm a ramen aficionado. Lol The Tokyo tonkotsu shouyu ramen with white garlic ramen contains their signature pork-broth bowl featuring chashu pork, bamboo shoots, wakame, half a marinated egg, nori, corn, and scallion. The thinly sliced chashu pork was tender and juicy. The soft-boiled egg was marinated in a sweet and salty soy-based sauce. Loved the perfectly jammy yolks and deep umami flavor. The bamboo shoots, wakame, nori, corn, and scallion all enhanced the flavor of this dish. The shining star of this dish was obviously the broth. This dish contains a rich and creamy pork bone broth seasoned with umami-packed soy sauce. The white garlic adds a signature sweet, pungent, and toasty aroma that perfectly cuts through the heavy fat of the broth. The ramen was cooked perfectly al dente. Would definitely order this again. Staff: The staff here are very attentive, friendly, and helpful. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.
