I picked up the order less than 5 minutes after they finished making it and it was eaten maybe 10 minutes after that, so it wasn't an issue of it going bad in transit or sitting around before eating. Also, the salmon skin roll, which we'd enjoyed on a previous visit, had something off about it, a very strong off-flavor, enough so that we didn't dare finish it. As mentioned, a disappointing meal from somewhere we expected better from.

Immediately walking into the restaurant I knew it would be the best night of my life. An aroma of lavender filled my nostrils. I saw beautiful marigold light fixtures surround the tables. As I get seated I notice the booths are cushioned. So soft I could sleep for all of eternity at this booth. My waitress is so lovely. Refilling my water constantly. For with every gulp I take she ran over to top off my water. I order brown rice thinking it would be a normal $5 side. But oh no my waitress walks out holding an entire plate of brown rice stacked so tall it could be mistaken for mt kilimanjaro. Then my california rolls come out and I've never see anything so beautiful. The plate even had a small fish and flowers drawn on with sauce. Is Picasso back there in the kitchen? I definitely got some amazing instagram content with this delightfully crafted meal. I barely spent a dime and I got leftovers with all the brown rice and rolls i received for a nice midnight snack. Can't wait to go back and have another life changing experience. read more

In my experience, restaurants that have too many different styles of cuisine are usually not on point but Tasty Sushi is outstanding. We had the Mongolian Beef, Pad Thai, Lo Mein, & Spring Rolls. Everything was flavorful and high quality, especially the beef which is usually a big hit or miss item at places like this. Haven't tried the sushi yet but will be sure to order some next time. On followup visit, they seem to have kicked up the salt and vinegar in the sushi rice a good bit which is nice and only the slightest dab of soy completed it well; rangoons are more flavorful and oniony and probably the best in the area as of now. Will have to keep trying to see where this ends up over time. read more

I've been coming here weekly since they opened and the service and food exceed expectations every time. All you can eat is superb, and quite fresh. The rice to fish ratio is stunning!! Some did not taste as fresh. A couple of the marinated ones were good on the grill. The grill burns very easily after a couple times of cooking. If you live in the area, this is a decent beginners place if you've never experienced hotpot or bbq before. I would highly recommend going to a Korean bbq place if you want good table top bbq. With the price they are charging, I will not be returning. The food and dining experience was not worth it.
