Really impressed with Tasty Thai! I ordered two of my favorite Thai dishes, Panang Curry & Pad See Ew, for take out. With such affordable prices, I was not expecting much in terms of quality and quantity, but wow....Some of the best Thai food I have had in Denver, and the portions were massive. The spice levels I ordered were spot on, the veggies tasted fresh and crispy, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the curry was worthy of slurping up through a straw. For only around $20, I was able to get three meals out of my order. I will definitely be back and am looking forward to dining in once feasible!

I stopped in after work tonight to pick up dinner. It was early so it wasn't busy and the food came out quickly. I ordered the Pad Thai vegan without egg or fish sauce and they were able to accommodate me. My husband got his favorite, drunken noodles. We both got a three spice level and that was the perfect amount of spice. We both really enjoyed our food but thought the portions were small for the price. I also like more veggies in my Pad Thai, it just had carrots, sprouts and spring onion. We both really enjoyed our food and would come back but I would also order a second dish with more veggies to share next time.

This place is awesome! My wife and I ordered the Beef Lad Na and the Chicken Pad See Ew and both were excellent. I liked the chicken better, the beef was a little chewy but not too bad. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, it's pretty small, but still clean and welcoming. You can tell they do a ton of takeout so they probably aren't too worried about a small seating area. The flavors were all there (my wife said it was one of the best Pad See Ew dishes she's ever had) and the servers were friendly. We came on a snowy Monday night and there was no one else dining here except us. However, the door basically didn't close because of takeout orders (I'm not exaggerating, it was nuts). We were here in February and this made the dining area too cold, so come prepared to wear an extra layer if you run cold like me. Other yelpers mentioned portion sizes being large. That was not our experience--we both ate our dinner portions and left full but not uncomfortable at all. Splitting a dish would most likely leave you feeling hungry still in an hour or so. We would come here a lot if we lived in this area!

The Thai ice tea is excellent. The Pad See Ew was ok, but the taste was very authentic. The beef used on the Pad See Ew was low quality and dried. It is not worth a $16 dish in my opinion.

My friend and I were craving Thai food when we were at Denver. Tasty Thai was recommended by many locals so we rendezvoused here. The Chicken Satay is a great appetizer to share and the chicken was tender. The chicken may be dry for some, so I recommend ordering drinks. We ordered the Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee, which were both amazing and quenched our thirst during our meal. The Hot (Second Spiciest Level) Pork Panang Curry was at the right spice level and complemented the rice and pork really well. The Hot Seafood Curry was also great, the curry was a bit tangy and did not overwhelm the seafood flavor. Overall, the food at Tasty Thai is great. In terms of service, every one was really nice and was very COVID friendly. The staff all wore masks and there are dividers between the tables. Overall, it is clear that Tasty Thai is cognizant of the pandemic and strived to take appropriate measures to ensure that their customers and staff are safe. In conclusion, it is crystal clear, our Thai Food itch was scratched, and I would definitely recommend coming here. The food and service at Tasty Thai is impeccable. One of the best basic thai spots in the area. Food is cooked fresh and packed with flavor. The Khaw soy is a cant miss- add duck for the protein! Great value too. Dining area is small and has about 8 tables and gets busy at lunch certain days of the week. Whomever cooks lunch has skills! Skip overpriced and has-been Swing Thai and come here!

Absolutely my go-to spot for Thai. So fresh, perfect amount of spice for me at medium heat. Always get the pad Thai, beef Thai basil, and panang curry. So yummy!! Some of the best Thai food I've ever had! Just amazing flavor and quality. The portions are more than enough. I've only gotten take-out, so I don't have anything to write up about the restaurant itself. The food took about 20 minutes. The neighborhood is super sketchy though so don't go alone in the dark, unless you're looking for meth, I guess. Seriously. read more

DELICIOUS. Drunken noodles were amazing. Some places during this covid pandemic have become very disappointing if not a rip off (for example: chipotle) but tasty Thai was a great overall experience. Delivery a little late but considering the distance to Sloan's lake it was perfectly acceptable. read more

Love this place for their takeout! When I first moved to Villa Park area we tried many Thai takeout spots and this was is for sure the winner! Love me some tofu pad Thai and theirs is super tasty so good work on your restaurant name ha! Very fitting! Their crab wontons as an app are yummy too! My experience with Tasty Thai is mediocre. The first time I went there I ordered the Pad Thai no peanuts and when I opened up the bag from home it had a bunch of peanuts on it. I couldn't eat it then so now a few months later I decided to give it another try. I asked for no peanuts and they didn't put peanuts on it but the pad Thai tasted weird. It was almost like thin marinara sauce. It was missing the sour taste that pad Thai usually has. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't very Pad Thai-y. Oh well, I'll find another spot in town or maybe I'll give one of their curries a try next. read more

FINALLY a Thai place that gets it right!! I've eaten at half dozen spots across Denver and this place was exactly what I've been looking for. I only ordered from Tasty Thai because Tommy's Thai was closed and thought it was Monkey Thai, but I guess they got bought out. It is to their advantage if they stay open, esp if you live in Cap Hill bc Tommy's beats this place any day of the week. This is better ran as a late night fix. So stay open later!! read more

Worst Pad Thai I've EVER had. Delivery wasn't the problem but you know the place is going to not tasty good when the business owners give you no chopsticks or plastic utensils. The Pad Thai tasty so bland not even ketchup tobasco or rooster sauce would help! Do yourself a tasty favor and order Thai flavor in Aurora or any Thai restaurant in federal. read more

We've ordered takeout from here twice. Both times the food has been great, and the service has been quick. We've tried several different appetizers, curries, and stir fries, all of which have been well seasoned and well cooked, though sometimes spicing can be on the hotter side than you may expect. The steamed dumplings have been amazing every time. I highly recommend you try their food. read more

Tried for the first time recently and was very happy with the food! Their drunken noodles was mild as I requested (some places the mild is still pretty hot) and the texture of the noodles were really good and chewy, not falling apart. The chicken dumplings were great too! I wish the Tom khan soup had a little more spices/flavoring, but it wasn't bad. Will definitely eat here again! read more

Amazing Thai food, super authentic. My husbands favorite in this little Thai food Mecca of Colfax/17th/Colorado. My issue is that their service SUCKS! It's never ready on time and today I had to cancel my Uber eats after it took them an hour and a half to make the food! Unacceptable. I honestly adore this place, I go as often as I can! Honestly, did you guys change recipes or chefs? The first time I ordered chicken pad thai from here was a few months ago and it was surprisingly good. The spice level was on point and I was happy with it. I ordered a second time maybe a month ago and it just wasn't the same. Very blah. No flavor. Anyways, I decided to give it another shot thinking they were having a bad day. My chicken pad Thai that I received today was even more blah then the last. Giving this place four stars just because their customer service was very slow tonight. There was only one girl working the whole floor, cashing people out and answering phones. I felt so bad for her. But the food was very good! The tempura has a different taste than any other tempura that I've had it was so good! Didn't even need the sauce. I got the drunken noodles with chicken. It was very good! Could have had more veggies though. I recommend this place :) read more

This is it - this is my Thai place. I moved from NYC and tasted my first curries in Thailand so I'm annoyingly snobby about curry, both flavor and spice level - and this placed *nailed it.* Best Panang curry by far that I've had since moving to Denver, out of several well-reviewed restaurants, and I will certainly be coming back to try other dishes. Definitely #1 top choice for Thai in Denver. Everything tastes well prepared and spiced. Most other places I've had around town are watered down or bland. They also give hefty portions on entrees and have great customer service. Easily missed driving by, a gem in the rough of Colfax. read more

Hello! My name is Jor, and I am from the south east border of Thailand (Between Burma and Thailand). I came to the U.S in 2005, and when I got here, I noticed that Denver was lacking in real authentic Thai food. I went to school and learned many useful things that has helped me start up this business. I value community, family, and friendship very much. Now, my mother and I run this restaurant called Tasty Thai and we hope to learn about the community around us by sharing memories and moments together with all kinds of people no matter who you are or where you're from.
