Great experience start to finish! My sister and parents reside in Miami Shores so I come to visit often even though I live in Port St Lucie. We tend to try a new place one a month in the area which is always quite unpredictable, however we heard the "buzz" about this newbie restaurant and had to try it out. From the beginning we were impressed! All staff were friendly and dressed literally to impress...even the valet attendant had a button down shirt, tie, slacks and vest! Hostess at door was great, very energetic and funny I must say. She noticed we were struggling to take the typical "selfie" and offered to take a few pics all while making us laugh. Since we were a bit early we ended up at the bar to take a look at the massive chandelier (which I must say is gorgeous!) and had a pleasant experience. The bartender noticed my father was having a hard time getting on to the stool so he escorted us to a lounge table and personally brought all of our drinks. Luckily we didn't wait much longer and ended up cozy in a corner booth. Food...what can I say? Everything was heavenly! We ordered just about everything to share; portions were pretty good size for the price you pay unlike most Miami spots on the beach. We ordered the avocado salad, the quinoa dish, the filet mignon, the rib eye and a few others. One wow factor of the night was when the chef came out to personally address my food allergy. I'm highly allergic to Mango and I advised the server early on however unknowingly ordered the ceviche which has a mango based dressing; in return they recommended the crispy eggplant with honey and I was far from disappointed! Of course we ended up ordering dessert being a chocolate lover I order the chocolate cake with ice cream and it was delicious! Great Service excellent food is a no brainer in my book; I'll be back soon and I may even visit Madrid during my trip to Europe this summer! A must see! read more

Very good restaurant!!! I've been in Spain one year ago in Tatel in Madrid and I hade an exellent experience. Grate original Spanish food. Finally they open in Miami this year and I went with my wife and I was surprise about the perfect ambient.The music was faboulus and one of the manager from Spain, Santiago, he inviterei to is a couple of cava, a Spanish champagne, very fresh and delicate. The feeling was like to be in Spain. We hade to start the best Spanish ham that I tried in my life: the " pata negra " and the bread was delicious too, like italian brusqueta. Another manager came to our table, Luca and offer a delicious wine from Spain: Ribera del Duero... emazing!! We share the " tortilla trufada " that I never hade!!! For main course we share the spanish rise with lobster, emazing!!! We finish with the a special chocolate cake and then our server offered to us a lemon sorbet with cava, very professional italian guy, that gave us an upstanding service. We hade a grate experience. Last Friday I had dinner at Tatel. it was a great experience!! The food was amazing!! My friends and I share some appetizers The tortilla trufada which is a spanish omelette with potatoes and black truffle was excellent as well as the grilled octopus and the spanish ham which is sliced by hand. For main course I tried ''the secreto iberico'' a traditional spanish cut from the shoulder of the pork. Yummy!!!! I was impressed by the ambient too!!! They have a DJ playing all night long and a singer who sings amazingly while walking around the dining room! I would recommend everyone to experience a night at Tatel an authentic spanish restaurant ! Ah I forgot!!! I give Tatel 5 stars for Tastefull-ness, Ambiance, Trendy-ness, Elegance, and Live music. I went to Tatel for a girls night and it exceeded our expectations. The service was on point, truly a fine-dining experience. The table was ready as soon as we were, kind of a bummer because we were looking forward to sitting at the cool bar! haha The Chanel cocktail was yummy! The octopus, croquetas, and avocado with carbineros were my favorite of the Spanish delicacies on the menu. The food was authentic and truly delicious. I recommend it for any kind of night: boys night, date night, birthday, anniversary, group outing, etc... Valet parking was easy and only 15$. I will definitely be back! read more

Por eso, Tatel se ha convertido no solo en mi restaurante favorito en South Beach sino tambien en mi bar y night spot preferido para salir con amigas y clientes. La comida es espectacular, el chef apasionado, los bartenders expertos en cocteles y en preparar mis bebidas en su punto, el servicio: impecable; se preocupan por cada detalle. Fantástico, conozco Tatel madrid y la verdad que es igual la atención desde la puerta es buenísima y los tragos que nos tomamos en la barra hasta que nos dieron la mesa parecían muy elaborados. Ambiente de nivel, comimos pulpo buenísimo mejor que el de Madrid y también una tortilla con trufa y unos chanquetes que es la primera ver que los veo en Miami las alcachofas de llorar. De postre una torrija por cierto estupenda. El precio valorando la calidad, el ambiente y la música en directo es más que razonable. Lo que más nos gusto sin duda fue el servicio. Fantastic spot to eat!!! I went the other day with my girlfriend because we had heard so much hype about it, completely true! We ordered the Jamon Iberico and the truffle tortilla as appetizers and they were everything we had hoped. We had been to Spain a couple months back and the authenticity of this place is priceless. Service was off the charts and as far as fine dining goes the prices were not too bad. Staff was also incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. If I could give this 6 stars I would. We will be bringing everyone who visits us back for sure. read more

I recently had my wedding anniversary dinner here and I can only say good things. Let's start with the décor which is exceptional, the perfect mix of elegant and warm accompanied by a great DJ that completes the ambience. Now the food...one of the few places in Miami that you can get a real Spanish croqueta. The Truffle Tortilla is a must along with the veal Milanese! The Spanish prawns, fried artichoke, and huevos rotos (broken eggs) I also highly recommend. For dessert the Tarta Tatel (apple) was perfect. They have a very nice selection of wines! Just had the ultimate fine dining experience with my husband and adult sons. We started in the bar and had wonderful traditional and custom made cocktails (my favorite was a cucumber martini). The bartenders were trained well and clearly enjoy their job. Moving on to dinner, loved the Spanish rice with lobster tails, veal milanese and filet mignon. We also had 3 wonderful appetizers. It is, without shadow of doubt, a unique restaurant. Miami was in need of this one-of-a-kind restaurant. All the dishes reflect the Spanish flavors with an excellent quality and amazing service. I have tried Tatel in Madrid and I must say that the Miami location is exactly the same. It is not only a place where you can take a date but also your family or friends and have an amazing time. Wow. Tatel is amazing! I had the pleasure of going with my girlfriends on Saturday and I must say it was divine. The service was impeccable; they made sure the entire staff was aware and ready to meet our needs. Not to mention the drinks, wine list and food. The octopus was fire. The jamón ibérico was not only from the homeland but on display and cut by Spain's finest. What a beautiful restaurant elegant and artsy perfect place for a romantic dinner! The food was great the iberico ham melts in your mouth and is a must, the grilled octopus was soft as butter and flavorful and of course the Tortilla trufada and de flan tatel was amazing. Went with some girlfriends last night for a late dinner and had a great time. DJ came on same time we arrived so that was a plus. Food and cocktails were delish; we shared the majority of everything but of course being a woman we love sweets and the toffee pudding is to die for! Only complaint is the valet drive is way too small and the traffic on Collins is a pain! Luckily the food and service made up for the initial arrival. oh and the Quinoa salad...YUM! read more

Had dinner with a group of friends and we were all very pleased with our experience. The waitor was very knowledgable of every menu item. He knew what was in it, how it was prepared and so on. The food came out in a timely manner and each dish was delicious. The filet mignon was to die for! They checked in every once in a while to make sure our food was good and our wine glasses were full. Tatel has one of the most amazing food and cocktails in Miami. I tried many of the items in the menu and they exceeded the expectations. The circular bar is very cool and the room is very stylish. It is creating a good vibe, the type of venue Miami needed. This is straight forward refined Spanish cuisine with some special original touches. Amazing restaurant! We were 4 friends and decide to go to Tatelfor dinner and ir was absolutely great! Really good service, the atmosphere was awesome and love the dj in the room. Truffle tortilla and spanish ham were my favourite, 100% recommended! I was so happy with it that when I came back to my city madrid decided to come back there and the quality was the same, GREAT! Went to Tatel Miami for New Year and dinner this weekend and have to say that this place is the spot I always want to go back to; food is exquisite, ambiance was incredible, their wine list is top of the line, the service is out of this world, nothing ever missing at the table, timing was impeccable. Came here with a small group of friends. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the rib eye and snapper. I Wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised the staff was very knowledgable and their recommendations were on point. The truffle tortilla was to die for, the steak was done to perfection. The staff dessert recommendation was out of this world, the Brie flan. This was the best Spanish experience I have had.
