    Pistachio Croissant and iced mocha
    Diana F.

Beautifully located near the water. Lots of seating inside and outside. Very busy and very loud. Lots of people working on laptops or lounging around. Good music playing. The iced mocha is so very excellent, made with chocolate, not syrups or powders. Tiramisu and some pastries were good, but breakfast plate was just ok (hash browns were super salty).

From Washington to Boston, I scored all the Tatte cafes (bingo!) Thus, I can commend the parties and coffee quality and branding are consistent and the interior and location are pristine! This cafe is still on top of my list on the East Coast!!

Have always heard great thing about Tatte. All of their baked goods looked delish. We shared the Prosciutto and Parmesan egg plate which was yummy and definitely not lacking in parmesan which we appreciated The line was long but our food came out quicker than our coffees did. Would definitely go back and try some pastry's and other menu items.

Food: Roasted salmon sandwich and Nutella hamantaschen were 11/10. SO good! However their chai latte wasn't super good. I felt like their chai was weak? I usually get it hot and maybe it was because it was my first time getting it iced. Service: Super nice! Ambiance: Really nice natural sunlight. In a really nice area of town as well. Can get busy with all the corporate people.

Since coming to boston, I've been to a Tatte 3 days in a row. I love their hot matcha specifically and the shakshuka- oh and the cheesecake! Their menu selection and desserts have been yummy and reliable. Also clean bathroom and kind service. Some things are more filling than others, so order kinda based on your hunger levels. Shakshuka/ lamb hash is a much larger portion than chicken pita. Would 100% come again to grab a bite, meet a friend, or read a book :)

First time here and I love how pretty the restaurant is and how welcoming it was! I can't wait to come back here again. There were plenty of different options for all different people. They have seasonal items that you can get and the variety is big. The monkey bread was beyond delicious and so soft & moist!! The grilled cheese was also very flavorful with all the different cheeses. It was one of the best grilled cheese I've ever had. Can't wait to come back to seaport to visit

I'm adding to everything that you have already heard. Tatte is for aesthetics and light snacks. I've been to multiple locations and they all have awful parking, the wait times are lengthy no matter what day/time you go, and the staff always seem irritated. I didn't want to write them off based on one bad experience but I've had four. My breakfast sandwich that's pictured was cold-- very annoying being that it took over 20min. The white peach/mint drink was refreshing but not worth the price and full of ice. The desserts aren't better than any bakery in the North End or Westborough for that matter. Tatte comes up on every "what to eat in Boston" video however Boston has so much more to offer!

My two daughters had been to the Georgetown location of Tatte and they really liked it. So we decided to eat lunch here on our walk to Institute of Contemporary Art. We shared an order of lamb hash and mushrooms, potato, & bacon shakshuka. For desert, we ordered chocolate sandwich cookie and plain brownie. It was the first time my wife and I had eaten shakshuka. Youngest daughter had it before. It was so creamy and delicious. We really enjoyed the dish. The lamb hash was also very good. The bakes had the right amount of sweetnesd and chew, loved them. We were so impressed, we returned for afternoon coffee and pistachio cherry tart. Needless to say, we enjoyed those as well. Employees were friendly and quick. Prices were appropriate.

This coffee shop is gorgeous, the vibe, the ambiance, the displays. Everything looks great. The service was super fast and the staff members were very kind. All the pastries look AMAZING! It's hard to choose; I got the almond cherry scone and it was delicious, I also grabbed a large Cafe Au Lait and was pretty good.

I am always on the hunt for a great coffee shop or café with solid espresso for my morning Americano fix. On a recent trip while staying in the Seaport area, I searched around and Tatte looked like the best option. Walking in, it is clear this is a newer location. The space is bright and spacious with plenty of seating inside and a large outdoor patio. As I got in line to order coffee, I passed their glass pastry cases filled with all sorts of tempting options. I told myself "only coffee," but then I spotted the Kouign-amann (pronounced QUEEN-ah-men) and could not resist. Since I was walking that morning, I justified the extra calories. The pastry was outstanding, perfectly caramelized on the outside with a buttery, flaky texture inside. Even better, the coffee impressed me too. It had a smooth, balanced flavor without the over-roasted, burnt notes you get at many chains. I would absolutely return to try more breakfast or pastry items, and of course, enjoy another cup of coffee.

    morning bun and iced americano

Super cute place near the pier. We were looking for coffee and a quick breakfast. Decent amount of seating inside and out. Came here on a Wednesday morning and no wait at all. We were able to snag a seat outside. I got a morning bun and an iced americano. Even though I ordered "for here", they handed me the pastry on a plate but didn't tell me they would be calling out names for the drinks inside. It was a little confusing since my friend also ordered for here, but she got a number and her drink and food brought out to her. I had to keep looking through the window to spot my drink and then ended up going in to grab it. Morning bun was tasty and so was the iced americano.

We arrived here on a Thursday early afternoon around noon. The place was incredibly busy and I'm sure it's due to some of the residential areas but also some of the many offices that are located within this area. When we first arrived, we were not able to find a seat at all as it is first come first serve seating. I grabbed a couple of seats at a community table while my husband ordered his coffee and pastries. A group left, and we are able to move to a regular table. My husband got the regular croissant and the cheesecake. The croissant was good a little chewy but overall enjoyable. The cheesecake seemed a little loose compared to other cheesecakes that we've had before. It was more like a cheesecake cream. But flavor was good. Coffee was very light compared to how my husband normally drinks his coffee. I opted for a chai tea latte and a morning bun. A morning bun is more or less like a cinnamon roll just minus the frosting. I really enjoyed it as it was a little sweet, but not overly sweet. The chai tea latte was super light.

Iced Pistachio Latte - 16 oz Morning Bun

I stopped by Tatte and tried the morning bun and an iced pistachio latte. The morning bun was excellent. It had a crunchy, sugary exterior with a soft, buttery center and a delicious streusel swirl throughout. The texture contrast was spot on -- crisp on the outside and tender in the middle. Definitely a pastry I'd order again. The iced pistachio latte, however, didn't meet expectations. Instead of a smooth pistachio flavor infused into the coffee, there were actual pieces of pistachio that settled at the bottom and repeatedly clogged my straw. It required more chewing than sipping, which wasn't what I anticipated. I was hoping for a pistachio syrup or sauce blended seamlessly into the drink for a smoother experience. Overall, the visit was okay. The pastry was a standout, but the latte fell short. Prices are on the higher side, though that's fairly expected for Boston.

Are outdoor seats usually available on Sunday mornings?

The busiest time is Saturday and Sunday morning/lunch- could be hard to find a spot outside.

The meal options are all on laminated pages instead of on a big board, but they did have a lot of good options. We started with regular drip coffee which was ready quickly and we could sweeten to our liking. We tried the house breakfast which was two eggs any style (got them fluffy and scrambled), crispy bacon, cheesy potato fritters with tomato jam (similar to ketchup), and sourdough bread (we asked for butter) it was all very filling and some nice spins on a traditional breakfast. The bakery selection is out of this world - from breakfast pastries to delicately crafted desserts. The cinnamon and pecan rose was just like the center of a cinnamon bun, which was fantastic. It was big enough for two people to indulge without overdoing it. There weren't a lot of outlets, so not ideal for long term laptop use, but the food came quickly, it wasn't too loud even with a ton of people coming in and out. The prices were reasonable, and everything tasted amazing.
