Having surgery soon. Called ahead to have a tragus piercing removed and wanted to get a retainer for it and my septum piercing. Each of the retainers are $10 here, which is incredibly overpriced. I immediately went back inside to return the ONE I had not used and was told no refunds once exiting. That should have been discussed before or displayed somewhere. Adrian ripped me off. I regret tipping him for plastic that online costs $10 for 38 PIECES. $20 for 2 is ridiculous, especially when one was clearly not the right size for my septum. Integrity is worth more than $25. I am extremely satisfied with the service that was provided for me yesterday. I was calling a few shops around town for about a week to get my septum pierced. Many places had bad reviews about piercings becoming infected. When I called Heart of Thieves, a guy answered and he was very patient with my questions. I set up an appointment and was very happy with the cost. When I made it into my appointment, I was very nervous. I didn't get the guys name, but he told me he would be setting everything up for my piercing. I asked if I could watch him set everything up. He said yes and even allowed me to look at the sanitization station. The piercing was quick and he walked me through everything before and after the piercing. He gave great advice on how I should take care of it. I have recommended this shop to my friends and I will be returning if I decide to get more piercings in the future. read more

Are you unsure, indecisive, or maybe have trust issues? If so, I'm just like you and you NEED to read this review! My tattoo artist is name zach zombii and this is my review. First of all, let's be real. Your girl has HELLA trust issues. Trust issues because I've seen so many bad tattoos from people who are close to me and just bad experiences shared by friends when getting tatted. I've heard stories of artists just trying to pump out designs (not that there's anything wrong with that) but FOR ME... I personally need an artist to take their time and share their thoughts as well when it comes to whatever idea I'm trying to put together. I love recommendations and even brainstorming placement ideas etc. I talk about trust issues because Zach is the only one I trust with inking my body. I mean this so much that I drove from LA to VegAs just to get worked on by him. It's 10000% worth it. Here's why: 1) I started off with a tradition neck tattoo (swallow) 2) changed it the day before - surprisingly, the artist was SOOOO welcoming in making ME feel comfortable rather than pressured 3) I pitched him about 4 core things I wanted in my piece 4) zach have his feedback and said that he can make my idea work but was worried about it not flowing well in my arm (see, this is what I need from an artist. This makes me feel like he also cares) 5) he asked if I would be open to removing certain things to make the tattoo flow better and so I said yes ! 6) the entire time, his staff was so kind to me ! TIPS GETTING TATTED HERE: -if you want something that will be timeless, come here. Believe me when I say, at the end of the day you don't want a "$50" looking tattoo. You want it get done HERE! -come prepared with sample photos of what you like and don't like. Direction is EVERYTHING YA'LL! -be ready to wait ! Zach had to sketch up my design (which I loved) so ofc, this does take time! There's a coffee shop and Thai restaurant next door that makes it super convenient when it comes to waiting ! -respect the artists here and dont demand for your designs to be sent to you. I know in other shops they do, but here they don't. I don't see any problem with that at all, but just a heads up! PLUS: I also got my microdermabrasion piercing here almost 2 years ago. I came in on Friday the 13th for an ear piercing. Adrian was the piercer and he was instantly welcoming when I walked through the door, along with two other girls at the front (I only remember one of their names, Nikka). They were very efficient and helpful, they took down my ID & gave me a consent form to fill out. From there Adrian showed me jewelry options for my piercing and once I chose it we walked back to his station towards the back of the shop. Adrian was precise, he measured and lined up my earrings the way I wanted it. I am a victim of having my first piercing from a mall shop so I initially had some ear piercings that were frustratingly not in line. Adrian did his best to make both my ear pierced match and he did a great job! He asked if I wa splay during the process and he appeared to be very attentive/ alert to my body language during the service. I got a total of 4 piercings (1 lobe and 3 helix piercings) that took only about 10 minutes total. As I mentioned earlier, I am a victim of mall piercing so Adrian explaining the aftercare to me was super helpful. He provided me with a lot of great tips to ensure my ears healed effectively. I would highly recommend coming here to get your piercings done. I didn't get a tattoo from here but looking around and seeing the tattoo artist at work and engaging with their clients looked genuine. I overheard a tattoo artist while I was getting pierced (I think his name was Zach) tattooing his client and he engaged with her and ensured she was relaxed by having a funny/ supportive conversation. He was telling her, "are you ready? You got this!" It made me feel that if I were to get tattooed her then I'd feel at ease through out the entire process thanks to him. I'm a little new to the tattoo-game, but I'm definitely coming back here for my future work. I came in and talked to Zach, who eventually did my tattoo as well as my girlfriend's nose piercing. I showed him samples of art work I wanted done, and he was able to draw out the design and he took the time to go back and forth between a few variations with me which I really appreciated! After we placed it, he finished tattooing pretty quickly, and it looked great! It's healed for a few months now, but it still looks just as rad! So not only is the shop, and from my experience Zach, really nice and helpful and informative, but the thing that I love most about them is how clean it is. I came across Zack's work and figured his style would be a good fit for what I wanted to get. I asked for a small design that I showed him, he replicated it and did his thing and for the most part it was good. After a week of healing, I was closely looking at it and noticed some lines were crooked and off the dots didn't line up well either. I reached out and he apologized and asked if I would want to come down and get them fixed, but it would be a while till I can be seen. I was already disappointed and asked how he would fix his errors, he replied and told me we didn't see eye to eye so he just refunded my money. I didn't ask for a refund, so it threw me off, but I still have these wonky lines. I then came in to get my Tragus pierced by Adrian, he was cool - pierced my Tragus he was a little rough that somehow my neck was sore the next day. A month later I developed a hypertrophic scar, and I was a bit worried since I never had one before, so I called the shop to ask Adrian and he seemed so cold about the situation and was not helpful at all. I ended up going to a piercing shop versus a tattoo shop for the other piercings I had gotten, and they were knowledge about the scar and what to do and what not. Now my biggest regret was getting tatted by Vivian, it was a week after the tragus piercing. I already had finger tattoos and wanted to add more to my other fingers, designs and some dots that would represent my daughter's birthday. I would have to say Vivian was overly ambitious and overly confident in her ability to do these tattoos. Long story short, I really dislike my finger tattoos that I am seriously considering getting laser removal for them. I had asked her if she would do the dots first with a marker or pen to map them out before she tattooed and she confidently said "no". They're all crooked, slanted - some are too close to each other. I am beyond disappointed because as I mentioned this was a tattoo that meant a lot to me, and to her it was just another finger tattoo. I even mentioned to her while tattooing and she rudely said "I can't move the tattoo" - seriously? I left pissed and she knew I was too and apologized but it was too late! I sent her an email after I cooled down a bit and she once again apologized and offered to refund me as well...I told her sure, but she ghosted me and never refunded me the money. What a joke, why offer a refund that I never asked for to just ghost me? I even sent a follow up email asking her if she changed her mind and she didn't reply. Simply unprofessional and I am simply disappointed with this shop all together. I fully regret getting my finger tattoos, the tattoo with Zach is passable, the piercing by Adrian is a healing process - but with Vivian it's a big-time regret. Here I come laser removal, SMH! read more
