Came here for the first time with my neighbor/babysitter and 19 month old toddler. I've been meaning to try this place. It was pretty busy on a Wednesday during lunch time. We sat at a table and wasn't sure if we had to order at the register first or if the server comes around so I went up and asked. They informed me the server comes around so I spotted her and got her attention. There are only a few servers. We were able to place our order and got our food in an adequate time. The crispy fried eggrolls, iced coffee, lemonade, pho, and shrimp fried rice were all very good. I didn't really enjoy the spring rolls. It was ok and I've had them better at other restaurants. Been coming here for Vietnamese food for a while and it is quite possibly the best location for pho! Flavor tastes great and is not overly salty. It doesn't give that fake powdery taste like some pho restaurants may have. They also have the best fried rice. I don't typically order fried rice because it's so simple but their fried rice is so good!! I ordered some takeout today and the ingredients were all packaged separately super nicely and when I combined the ingredients at home it tasted just like the restaurant! The decoration and size of the place was pleasant and interesting -- however they did play loud American rock music the whole time, like Crazy Train It threw off the vibe a little for me... but don't let that stop you from coming! Walked in and the place is kind of dated. We were seated to a table that was still a little sticky and the worst part was when we sat down and grabbed menus to look over, our waitress walked up to take our drink orders... and just stood there waiting! We told her we looked at her oddly and said we needed a minute to look over the menu since it was our first time here for which she answered, "I'm going to wait here and just grab your orders all at once so I don't have to come back. There's not a lot of help here and it would waste my time walking back and forth." The nerve! She just stood there breathing down our necks until a carry-out customer walked in and she had to leave our table anyways lol. The food was average at best. I had jus t moved to a place nearby and went to the gym next door to this shop. I got curious about what the menu and food was like so I stopped by after my work out for a late lunch one day. I ordered their hu tieu since I was wanting something warm but light with pork instead of beef. when I came in, I was greeted and invited to sit at a table far into the restaurant. The place was very big in space and tables all spread out to help with social distancing. It was very nice and clean on the instead also. The owner came by quickly once I sat down to ask what I'd like to drink and I ordered with him right away since I knew what I wanted, having seen the food on the first page of the menu. He said my food would come out shortly. I also ordered some spring rolls which came out fairly quickly, 5-8 minutes. My bowl of food kind of took some time, I just wonder if they were short staffed in the kitchen but I probably finished my spring rolls fairly quickly because I was hungry but I was left sitting for another 10-15 minutes awaiting for my food. It was delicious though so I'm glad it was worth the wait. Service was average, they had most of the tables taken with customers so understandable that they were kind of busy but I didn't see anyone walk by to check on the tables to see if anyone needed water refills or any condiments for their food. I didn't get a water refill either until I had to raise my water glass to the person sitting at the front register who had "luckily" looked over at me. I then flagged the young gentleman who seemed to have just arrived to work for a sweet jelly dessert and then I told him I was ready to cash out afterwards. he directed me to the front register for me to pay, where 3 people Waited in line to pay as well or pick up their to-go order. My dessert came out 5 minutes after I finished cashing out and then I left. I would come back for the food but I hope they can get more people in to help with servicing people to provide better customer service when they do get busy. read more
