Poor service. Felt rushed and like they wanted us out of here as fast as possible. When I'm spending $26 on eggs and a coffee I would hope to feel a little more welcome. Great waitress. Very good house salad and pasta with bechamel tomato sauce.seated us immediately and amy kept bringing us bread and a lot of cheese for pasta. Great brunch place. For Sunday Brunch, they have $1 mimosas and bellinis, and a good brunch menu. I watched them make the mimosas - they used 12 bottles of champagne in the drink dispenser they have at the bar. The food is good, I would say slightly overpriced for some of the portions, but certainly good. My truffle oil fried eggs on garlic bread with sausage and breakfast potatoes was perfectly sized, but the pasta dishes seemed tiny in comparison. On the other hand, the calzone was HUGE. Our server was nice and helpful, but seemed overwhelmed with customers for brunch. For Sunday brunch, be prepared to wait over 45 minutes for a table, but the bar + $1 drinks more than make up for it. read more

This place is outta sight! Christopher the manager is the best restaurant manager I have ever dealt with. I called to ask a million questions about setting up my girlfriends bachelorette party. He answered every one with a lot of extra help. On my way there I asked directions, because my GPS was down and not only did he give excellent directions, but then recommended the cheapest parking garage in the area! It turned out to be free, So even better! One of the questions I had for him was about bringing a coupla bottles of bubbly to celebrate my girls big day....they did not have the specific liquor license so it was a no go. Christopher made it up to us in a big way.....HE GAVE OUR TABLE A FREE ROUND OF CHAMPAGNE FOR EVERYONE!!!! That was beyond the best! Our server was excellent! She was attentive and perfect in every way. There were 9 of us and she split the bill for us 8 ways!!! Way too cool that we did not have to do the math. She also was able to split the bill anyway we wanted and even with 8 credit cards if we wanted! Now that s a service to shout about! The food was awesome, everyone was happy with there dishes. In fact everyone shared with everyone else to show how good their dish was. The entrees were very sharable, and if you go definitely order a few things! This place is a definite winner! As mediocre as I thought it would be (dinner). Started off with mussel's which would have tasted better had the sauce not been so fishy. Not sure if bread comes free or not but we definitely had to ask our server for some. Ordered the frutti de mare which was delicious. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars.... a 3.5 is more fair, hahah. Food was solid. The wait was crazy long (normally)... we had a connection which made it less long, but still long. The place is crazy busy and pretty small. Not sure why its that crazy and appealing to folks. I had the Sea Bass with Muscles which was nicely cooked and tasty. $22 was Ok I suppose... a bit bigger on the portion size would have been better, not sure what the exact size was... probably in the 4 to 6 oz range. I guess was drew me to the 3 instead of the 4 was that a friend got the biscuits and gracy (I believe) and was sorely disappointed when it came out cold. He ate it, and didnt bother to say anything, but I could tell he was disappointed, particularly when it was so raved. I'd certainly swing by here, but I couldn't justify a regular wait time of 1.5 hrs to get seated... I could find an alternative just as good. I guess its the nature of the beast. read more

Really enjoyed this place. The service was VERY good and the food was solid. We went for dinner and had the scampi pasta and lasagna, both of which were delicious. My favorite dish was the arugula salad with avocado...yum!! I have heard great things about brunch...can't wait to check it out one day. read more

Excellent Sat/Sun brunch. The aroma upon entering was delicious. We had a group of 6 and they were able to seat us quickly. The service was a little slow compared to other tables but the atmosphere is casual and we weren't in a big hurry. The food was delicious all around. Everybody has something good to say about their food. The Eggs Benedict, though nothing fancy, were cooked perfectly. Many at the table enjoyed the $1 mimosas, which were a big hit. Giving this a 3 stars because i waited for almost 15 min before getting served water. Turned out that the waiter was new and he didnt know his area. He owned up to it so that was respectful. In terms of pricing, it's a but pricy (apps in the teens) and thats probably because the food portions are ridiculous (but then again...ur in texas). Portions can definitely be shared and the flavors could be a bit more bolder. I ordered the calimari and spicy sausage pizza. The calamari was large enough to feed a small asian community!! read more

I have mixed emotions about this place. The first time I went for dinner, everything from the service to the food was fantastic. They came out with fresh baked foccacia which was delicious, the mussels appetizer was plentiful and my seafood linguine was wonderful. Eager to go back for more, I went there for dinner the next weekend. Not so great this time. I got cold bread, 9 mussels in the appetizer and let's not even talk about the meal. i have only been here for brunch, great deal $1 mimosas. i always get the eggs for brunch. they are pretty good and it is plenty of food. the first time i visited the service was wonderful. our server knew exactly what he was doing, even anticipated mimosa refills. however, the second visit was a little bit different. we were seated in the middle of the room and our table was surrounded by a bunch of other tables and didn't have a clearly defined route for our server. this probably contributed to the lack of attention. the food was still good and the mimosas did the job. read more

I've been here a couple of times for lunch, and once for Sunday brunch. The risotto dishes I've tried at lunch are super tasty. My fellow diners have always looked pleased with their selections too. I'm also a big fan of the bottomless mimosas at brunch. Need to try the bellinis next! I've always had at least decent service without attitude. Note that I have only been here for brunch. I like that they have one dollar mimosas that aren't awful, but everything else about this place is pretty mediocre. It's always very crowded on the weekends (cheap drinks bring in the crowds), but you can usually sit by the bar when you're waiting so it's not so bad. They're normally understaffed with long stretches between visits from the waiter. The food I've tried has been bland. It's like they forget to put in any seasoning. I haven't tried the pasta so maybe that's ok. They also have trouble with timing when to make the dishes. At least one person in our group always winds up with a cold dish. The prices are fine for downtown, and it's easy to park under city hall. This isn't a terrible place, but I would never come here if it weren't for the one dollar mimosas. read more

This place is always busy for brunch. In fact, I've only been here for brunch. Twice. The first time it was super busy, but good. Not 5 stars good, but good. This Sunday I was there, and despite the circus of people waiting to get seated, I only had to wait like 10 minutes. I guess because we were only two. Didn't even stay for the meal. Had reservations and arrived exactly as scheduled. Party of two. They wanted to place me at one of two very small tables next to a party of 25 small children accompanied by a few adults. No way! You didn't have elbow room between you and the kids and the NOISE LEVEL WAS .. "I'm sorry I can't hear you!" They had 4 open tables to seat four, but they would not accommodate me with one of those. Went for a friends bday for Sunday brunch. Service was ok... Waitress was Amanda I think. We over heard her complaining to her coworker about how we wanted to split the check, which didn't help anything. I ordered the hash and when I got it, parts were cold and others were hot. I asked to have it heated up and it came back the exact same. I feel like it was mass produced for the day, which I understand I work in the industry, but just definitely wasn't good enough to pay $18 for. Maybe it was just today...
