Full of screaming teenagers. I almost didn't want to order and wait because of the sheer volume of it all. The girl working spoke extremely loudly and I can understand having no patience with people yelling around you all the time, but it's tough to be polite at a high decibel level. Cuz she wasn't. The lobby was filthy. One girl decided to attempt to break apart a bag of frozen Reese's pieces by banging it repeatedly against the FRONT counter. Like six times. Everyone that works there is deaf. They can't not be. And as I was waiting, I recall Taylor's used to be 4.5 stars a couple years ago, so I was reading Yelp to see what happened and gradually became horrified that we might end up waiting 30 minutes for three burgers and two fries, but thankfully the wait was reasonable and we ran outta there. Well known burger and shake joint in Loomis. My family has been here a few times just to grab ice cream and a shake. The menu has boundless flavors for shakes. I went simple and got the tater tots. Run of the mill frozen tots but they were very crispy. You'd be surprised how often I've gotten mushy tots. My family has never had anything they didn't like. The staff was young (high-school or college age) and friendly. Service was decently fast for how busy it was. The place itself needs some upgrades. The floors were dirty with trash and fries. The girls will probably return again as they do enjoy the shakes and ice cream. I might need to revisit this place and have some. read more

What I ordered vs what I got. When I called Taylor's about my door dash order, they said it's door dash's problem. Not sure how it is a delivery service problem when they don't make the food. Taylor not following food order is somehow door dash's problem. I asked for lettuce, tomatoes, onions, condiments on the side for my burger. Paid extra for bacon, got no bacon. This is a cute little mom and pop frosty! They have over 350 shake flavors and its so hard to decide on just one! The shakes are about $7 each which is pricey when I want to try so many, I wish they had different sizes to pick from. We tried the coffee shake which was amazing, super thick, definitely need a spoon but the taste was great. We also got a pink pony which is a strawberry shake with chunks of Oreo, it was great but again definitely should be served with a spoon. The burger took about 10 mins which wasn't bad and it tasted just like a frosty burger, we will be back to try more. read more

went there yesterday and it's usually way better. we ordered 2 soft serves and they came in a cup way too big which made the serving size look very small to begin with. But, the serving size was also way too small, and with a giant hole right down the middle which is certainly way less volume. I've never felt ripped off there, but we did yesterday. While the hot dog was excellent, that's not what Taylors is known for. The hamburger was so disappointing, overcooked, garnished with iceberg lettuce, terrible tomato, good bun though. The banana shake ($6+!) was disappointing as well - perhaps the banana wasn't ripe? We arrived at the restaurant during a slow period but our order took a very long time to arrive. Now we know why there are so many people waiting outside when we pass by. We'll continue to pass by in the future. read more

Taylor's is seriously a hidden gem! Located in the middle of nowhere, AKA the town of Loomis, Taylor's is a small little shack with the biggest milkshake variety! You'll definitely want to make the drive out here for their milkshakes alone. It's safe to say you can skip on the food, although a basket of fries on the side of your milkshake never hurts. Their menu currently has over 400 milkshake flavors, and I can't help but wonder how they could fit all of the ingredients for all those flavors in that tiny kitchen! They were also FAST! Milkshakes were coming out minutes after you finished ordering. It's magical! I wanted to order something unique instead of just a typical flavor, and it took me quite a while to decide after looking over the menu multiple times. They really do have everything, such as 6-7 different types of banana flavors (banana bread, banana creme pie, bananas foster, and so on...), to the unusual and strange flavors like wasabi or sriracha! I decided on the mango green tea milkshake and it was so light and refreshing! My fiancé had the tres leches milkshake and it actually had cake crumbles in it! I can't wait to come back and try more flavors. As for the food, like I said it's probably not worth the calories. The burgers were mediocre and nothing extraordinary. The portion of fries was small, but enough for me to enjoy with my milkshake. Definitely worth a stop just to check out their extensive milkshake menu. It's a small little burger shack off the main streets Horseshoe Bar Rd and Taylor (of course). Despite being in Loomis pretty often, I've only gone here once. Despite that, my overall experience was great. Service was great. Burgers were decent. Milkshakes were delicious. Everything was a bit expensive though. read more

LET ME TELL YOU ABOU THIS PLACE. It's a small hole in the wall that serves anything from mac and cheese bites to over 300 milkshakes flavors. The burgers here are amazing. They come loaded with toppings and have specials of burgers and other menu items. The shakes are large and easy to share!! My favorites are the mac and cheese bites. Holy crap, these things are just kraft mac and cheese that are deep fried and they are good for no good reason. I could eat them all day. Its super cute to sit inside and have some shakes and also has a nice patio to sit and a park nearby. The teenagers that run this place are great and the service is always good! It does get busy with families and high schoolers on the weekends so come early and at varying times because food can take a minute, but it is fresh. So what more could you ask for?? Updating! as my tastes have changed. We went this last weekend as hubs was craving. I already knew that you don't go for the food. Food is really sub par. Think school cafeteria but you really go for the variety of shakes. Because there are SO many flavors, it is probably best just to say "I want a purple snickerdoodle cherry shake" and they probably have the ingredients to do it. The list is that vast. I always get the chocolate peanut butter. While good, I have come to realize that they do not use real ice cream. It is soft serve. Great in a pinch but its not a true shake to me. I want to see you hand scoop that sucker from a tub. It would truly have a better taste. Oh and lastly they use styro-foam cups. Oh so bad for the environment! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I am not giving this review because of the food. The food was good as usual. This review is because of the employees. One of our burgers was suppose to have bacon on it. Things happen and it didn't come with bacon on it, so as anyone would do, we go back up and tell them it's not correct and simple just ask for a side of bacon, no big deal. The girl's immediate response was we can't do that for you but I can charge you for it. NOT ONE OF THEM APOLOGIZED. It was not our mistake, why am I paying for their mistake? I asked the girl this question and am she just looked at me and shrugged. They were so rude about it and would not fix their mistake. It's just horrible customer service and to speak to customers like that, i'd love to see her speak to people like that in front of her manager or the owner. I went in for a simple milkshake and ended up waiting over 40 minutes for it because they did not make it even though they claim , it was my fault even though they never called my name, horrible service would not recommend. Many people came after and did receive their shakes after us and when we tried multiple times to talk to an employee who all blatantly ignored us. I felt as if I was disrespected and ignored and wasted over an hour in that horrible burger joint. I would recommend do not waste your time or your money (which it is extremely overpriced in my opinion for the meager portions). The online website and menu also are not true, the reason we went in in the first place is because it stated online that a regular burger was just over 4 dollars, more like 8. Don't go. Just don't do it. We went for the milkshakes. We got three, strawberry mango bubblegum (with sprinkles) and cotton candy (with cotton candy bits). We couldn't tell them apart! They all tasted the exact same. Like vanilla ice cream with some unidentifiable artificial flavoring. We finally found the strawberry mango once we stirred it and saw strawberry flecks. When you order online it ask you what kind of sauces you want so I asked for tartar sauce and malt vinegar. When I picked it up there were neither in my bag. So I asked the associate with the blue hair if I could please have tartar sauce and malt vinegar. Since the ramekins were only 1/2 full I requested 2, and He looked annoyed when I requested it. when I got home my fish and chips were soggy and undercooked. Didn't know they had moved, but they are just down the road. Got two burgers, onion rings, fresh fried potato chips and a chocolate malt milkshake. All were very good and hit the spot. What impressed me is the onion rings came with ranch on the side. It is fresh made ranch! No fakey bottled ranch. The bacon on the hubs burger was crisp.
