Absolutely delicious pizza with a very good variety. I have visited several times now and it is always good. I am a big fan of the Detroit which is a deep dish style pizza with a crunchy crust. You need to visit multiple times to really enjoy the various flavors and styles of pizza they have. My only complaint is the lack of customization of their specialty pizza's. I get no additions or substitutions as that would be a pricing nightmare. Please consider allowing us to REMOVE ingredients though. There are several great looking pizzas there I simply can't get because of family members and their tastes. Things like pesto or mushroom could easily be removed and I don't understand that policy. I used to love this pizza. Then they bought a big automated conveyor-belt heater, just like at a gas station, and now the pizza tastes like you get at a convenience store Plus, after ordering on the website and getting a pick-up time, I get to the restaurant, and when the girl tells me she has no record of my order, the guy says, "it doesn't matter, we never make the pizza until you show up anyway." So I had to stand there and wait for the conveyor belt to process my pizza. EDIT: Not sure what the basis is for calling me a liar. I can't think of a reason to make that up. Extremely disappointed in their new "Detroit" style pizza. (Never should have stopped making the Sicillan style) This pizza was greasy, lacking flavor, awful crust. Who puts red onions on pizza? The white sweet onions are for pizza ! Red are for salads ! Sorry but it just wasn't good. I've had pizza from there in the past and it was good before but this was a giant fail. Never again. The 3 stars are for the ambiance and service. Waitress was amazing and loved the grunge band posters and the venue. The bar was also beautiful. The food was not great. We tried a Caesar salad, Chicago pie and NY style pie. The Caesar salad was exactly like a bagged salad I get at the supermarket. For $9 I would expect at least a better effort. The Chicago pie was flat and very greasy, similar to the pizza you would find at Chucky Cheese. I've had frozen pizzas that were tastier than the Chicago. The NY style looked good but was very greasy and tough to eat as the slice would flop when folding it. I would recommend a better balance of sauce and cheese for the NY style. read more

Nicely cooked,not too dark with a rich, caramel color on the bottom. Too many places forget the timing and end up blackening the underneath! An appetizing, airy but robust dough with crispy, golden, (white cheddar?) cheese around the edge due to being baked in a pan. 8 thick, spongy, square slices. It was difficult to not polish off the entire pizza in one go. "Crack Pizza!" Efficient, friendly staff. Clean premises with small, simple dining area (converted house) with a selection of beer on tap. Sign said "happy hour 4-6pm $5.00 glasses". The Spring Fling Detroit pizza cost around $20.00 as of today. Well worth it for the quality ingredients and unique ingredient combination. I like the unusual selection of their specialty pizza toppings..hot honey anyone? Makes a pleasant change from other run-of-the mill pizza choices. However, they do offer basic toppings too. Their pizza every time has been absolutely delicious. We have tried their specialty pizza and made our own. The specialty pizza names are fun and the topping combos are on point. Their calzones are also amazingly delicious. I feel like the specialty pizzas are bit pricey when you're feeding 4 or more people so it's left as a treat and rare occasion. For lunch this week I ordered take away Caesar salad and added chicken. I was so disappointed. I paid almost $13 for what felt like a bagged salad with cold chicken that I questioned if they even made themselves. I'm not sure if the croutons are homemade but for $13 they should be but didn't taste like it. It was by far the most basic Caesar salad I've ever purchased from a restaurant. The dressing was 1 packet of Ken's Caesar dressing which was not enough for the lettuce portion which resulted in a very bland salad. I would have been less angry about it if it wasn't so expensive for what I got but either way, I guess I was expecting more since their other selections are more creative and unique. read more

This is our new go-to place for EVERYTHING! My husband and I were wondering if it would live up to the hype we heard about it...let me tell you, IT DOES. We've had pizza (my son and I got a plain cheese, my husband got the Kahuna) and we all loved it (even my picky son!). My husband got an order of wings and really liked them (and he's picky, doesn't usually love baked wings). Today we tried subs which easily compete with Wegmans subs (which are GOAT). I ordered a dozen of wings half honey mustard and buffalo from this place about 2 mos ago and they were ok but I was expecting them to have alittle more spice to them the buffalo ones weren't hot enough and the way they fried them the skin on the wings weren't crispy enough. I stopped in for a quick slice since I saw they were newly open and I pass through the area with some frequency. My quick lunch turned into lunch plus ordering a full pie to bring home for dinner. I went with a 1/2 cheese, 1/2 onions, peppers and mushrooms to keep things fairly simple. The sauce was extremely flavorful and the dough provided appropriate support for toppings as well as a nice crunch for the crust. The only downside of the experience was being left with less leftovers than I was initially planning since I was tempted to eat more!
