Best Sheet pizza in Broome County. they nailed the bake, maybe a bit too much cheese, but that's usually not a problem for most people.

The food was excellent. Apparently, a lot of people feel that way because later in the day the parking lot was packed.

For me, they are best eaten with limited toppings and no sauce. I'm not a huge fan of their burger sauce but others seem to like it but if you leave the sauce you get the full flavor of the burger and seasoning. I recently had to make a visit with a group to that place where there are nearly half a dozen guys that make burgers and as a test, I tried eating it the same way I'd eat it at here and discovered there was absolutely NO flavor. The best way to find out if a place makes good burgers is to eat it plain with little to nothing on it because if they are covering it all up with add-ons, they don't have a good burger, they just have cooked meat. TKC doesn't need the sauce but it's there if you want it. Better yet, they are reasonably priced and less expensive than any other burger joint in the area. (We are talking GOOD burgers here, not the fast food chains but even then...still probably cheaper.) Second, they have a fantastic hot honey chicken sandwich that has a lot of chicken on it. It is fried perfectly and the hot honey adds just the right touch of sweet and spicy to give it a wonderful flavor. Finally, sides of onion rings and fries are all done perfectly. I think personally the onion rings have the WIN here but either way you can't go wrong. Oh, and they have ice cream! That isn't the highlight for me, but they have a decent selection of flavors and are reasonably priced. My choice is the non-dairy cookie dough and peanut butter (I think I have the flavor right) and it tastes great. This place seems to always be busy and the owner is always cheerful and friendly. Do yourself a favor and make a visit and in the process support a wonderful local business! You won't regret it. P.S. Adding this - I've taken multiple people here over the past few months and not had a single person disagree with me on how great this place is. So, while the review is mine, I'm quite certain my family and friends would give the exact same 5-star review here.

I am a big fan of the Detroit which is a deep dish style pizza with a crunchy crust. You need to visit multiple times to really enjoy the various flavors and styles of pizza they have. My only complaint is the lack of customization of their specialty pizza's. I get no additions or substitutions as that would be a pricing nightmare. Please consider allowing us to REMOVE ingredients though. There are several great looking pizzas there I simply can't get because of family members and their tastes. Things like pesto or mushroom could easily be removed and I don't understand that policy. Pay them a visit as I want them to stick around!

So I had to stand there and wait for the conveyor belt to process my pizza. EDIT: Not sure what the basis is for calling me a liar. I can't think of a reason to make that up. I can tell you who was there and exactly what was said, if you prefer.

The drink menu had pretty much anything you could think of (with a very long list of flavour syrups, including plenty of sugar-free), and there were lots of good-looking baked goods in their display. We were taking a minute to decide what to order because there was so much to choose from, but the cashier was patient and friendly. I got a tuna melt, a banana half moon cookie, and an Italian cream soda with salted egg yolk syrup. The salted egg flavour, if you are not familiar with it, tastes a little similar to eggnog or Irish cream. I really like the flavour and it worked pretty well in the cream soda and made for a unique drink. I also had a few sips of my dad's lemon cream matcha. The matcha wasn't the strongest, but with the lemon cream flavour, it was a very pleasant drink. The tuna melt was great; I liked the big pickle pieces in the tuna salad. I like their style of half moon cookie - the chocolate frosting/ganache was really good, and the banana flavour was nice. I'd love to come here again next time I'm in town!

They have a rotating menu that they list on their website (www.saltcitybread.com). By the time I got there mid-afternoon, they were sold out of their seeded (sesame, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds) sourdough. Plain sourdough loaves are $10 and the sourdough with inclusions are market price and range from $12-14 it seems. I got their chocolate chip cookie (with flaky salt from Syracuse Salt company) for $3.25, and it was delicious!! Thick cookie with crisp edges and a soft, fluffy center. Huge chocolate chips too! The flaky salt brings a nice balance as well. Will definitely be back!

This little bakery is very cute and offers a selection of different breads as well as sweets. The service is excellent and welcoming. These people know how to do bread WELL. I have tried their italian bread, focaccia, and their braided sesame bread-- which are all phenomenal! They have some sandwiches on their menu as well as some coffee available. On this occasion we ordered: - Braided sesame bread: this is my absolute favorite bread here. The presentation is beautiful, and the bread reminds me of a more savory challah with some salted olive oil hints that remind me of focaccia. The softness of the bread and the density make it so satisfying. It is perfect with both sweet and savory pairings. Super addictive--a loaf usually does not last longer than a day in our household. - Turkey sandwiches: we got a whole sandwich split into two halves. Size is pretty generous and one half is definitely enough for one person. This sandwich, although simple, stands out for its high quality ingredients. It came with generous sliced turkey that was not too salty, delicious gouda cheese, high quality mayo, fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The white bread is made in-house and feels super fresh and fluffy. They were super nice and gave us two bags of chips to compliment our dinner even though we technically ordered only one sandwich. We got it split into two separate containers and my fiancé and I each got our own pickle! Perfect option to get to-go. - Peanut butter cookie: I initially wanted to try the chocolate chip but they sadly ran out. However this was actually an amazing cookie. The thickness was perfect, not too thick and not too thin. It had nice bits of peanut butter and the cookie itself was super buttery, soft but with a nice caramelized crust, and not too sweet. There was a surprise Reeses PB cup in there which was very pleasant. Very good cookie! Cannot wait to come back and try their chocolate chip one. Overall, this bakery is a 10/10 and a very great asset to the area. Even though their selection is limited, I think they really focus on doing the few things they do VERY well. I love how local and homey this business feels. Their baked goods are all amazing and I will continue supporting them whenever I am in Manlius. Highly recommend Salt City Bread! You will not regret it.
