Vegetable Pizza Personal - no tomatos

TD is near my work and is our go to lunch spot. I usually don't like pizza crust, but TD has great, soft crust and tasty toppings. I love their veggie pizza!

10" Personal Pie- anchovies, olives, + onion. Very good and the crust was soft like a nice breadstick.

Good pizza with fresh ingredients and a soft crust with crumbs. This style of crust is a little rare around the area and they do it well. My fave is a 10-inch personal pie topped with anchovies, olives, and onion- tasty af and my parents love it too. Their Supreme pizza is always a hit with the rest of my fam with marinara, mozz, sausage, onions, peppers, pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives. While I've had issues with their other dishes years ago, their current pizza quality make me want to give em another try. During this covid crisis, I'm extra grateful that they remain open for pick-up and delivery. NOTES/TIPS: **Fast delivery **Right by the Springfield Post Office and plenty of parking in a shared lot **You can order online via https://direct.chownow.com/order/8166/locations/10977

TD Pizza has consistently solid pizza. Their plain pie is pretty good, but nothing unique. I really enjoy their specially slices, especially the BBQ chicken pizza. The crust is really flakey and the slices are big. I haven't tried too many of their non-pizza options, but it looks like they have a decent selection.

Eggplant parm sub, cheese pie, mozz sticks

Ordered a large cheese pie, eggplant parm sandwich, and mozz sticks -- on Superbowl Sunday, no less. The pizza was classic, but really I'm here to tell you about 1) how fast their delivery was, 2) how crispy their fries and mozz sticks were, even with delivery time 3) my eggplant parm sub was extremely fresh. Their prices are also really good! Sorry the photo isn't that great this time around. I took in haste because I was super excited to try the fried apps.

Homemade Pastina. So so delicious!!!!! Need like a gallon of this broth.

One of my biggest pet peeves is people talking over my food, and that is exactly what happened. While my bowl was being assembled, I added a few items that came with an upcharge. The employee making my bowl informed me of the extra cost, which I understood completely--I've been to Cava many times and know how it works. However, as she repeatedly explained the upcharge, she was talking directly over my food and visibly spitting while speaking, which made me extremely uncomfortable. When I tried to reassure her that I understood and that it wasn't necessary to keep repeating it, her coworker jumped in saying it was "company policy" to ask. I told them that was fine and that I would pay whatever the cost was, but asked that they stop repeating it. Instead of de-escalating, both employees began laughing and smirking, which felt very unprofessional. I calmly explained that I don't like people talking over my food. Their response was sarcastic and dismissive, which eventually led to me raising my voice out of frustration. When it came time to add dressing, the employee intentionally drowned my bowl in dressing to the point where it was completely soggy and inedible--it honestly felt like retaliation. I asked if they would eat something prepared that way, and only then did the manager step in. Thankfully, the manager handled the situation professionally and remade my bowl, which I truly appreciated. I own a franchise myself, and proper food service practices and basic respect for customers are non-negotiable. Talking over food, laughing at customers, and acting spitefully has no place in a restaurant. The manager handled the situation appropriately, but the behavior of the front-line staff was unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

However today , after a slight issue with DoorDash I was met with the NASTIEST customer service. The woman working the front desk who goes by "Anna" as presented on her name tag or "Annie" as she so formally introduced herself over the phone. Her attitude was disgusting and so distasteful. Especially since she was met with nothing but kindness! I was simply trying to resolve a simple mix up and she wanted to catch an attitude left and right. I made a call shortly after placing my order, asking to speak with the Manager who I later learned is named Chaz. However little miss Annie and her sweet little attitude picked up once again. Being extremely dismissive she didn't want to take my number or transfer the call for me. I think Chaz needs to have a long talk with his employees about how to answer the phone, and having a little patience. And I truly hope this Anna or Annie girl has the day she deserves and learns to smile a little more. A little kindness goes a long way! If that's not our best quality , customer service isn't for you ;)

The French Toast bites were a delightful surprise. People seemed to enjoy shishito peppers, I'll take their word as I am not a fan of peppers. My Willow Burger was a taste sensation. It was pilled high with the topping of onion, avocado, cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce and a tangy chipotle sauce. Yum. Worth the trip even if you are not attending the theatre.

I was with a party of six and at 11AM, we were all in a breakfast mood. We tried and all liked the Brioche French Toast, the Mushroom Thyme omelet and the Shakshuka. The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with lemon curd and blueberries just didn't hang together. (Only four dishes for six people because two of us ordered the omelet and two the French toast). Overall the food was very good and the portions generous. Beverages were fine. The service was a bit spotty, possibly because we had two waiters who seemed to be tripping over each other. It shouldn't take three requests to get a glass of water. But overall, a place I'd try again.

My nephew who lives nearby treated us to an al fresco meal recently while visiting for a family event. My pulled pork smashed burger was everything you want in a packed meat sandwich, with an onion ring and tangy sauce on the brioche bun. It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.
