I love this place and I wish I live nearby. We live in buckeye and our go to boba place is closed early so we decided to take the 20 min drive. They are open despite the pandemic and they are observing social distancing. The crews are wearing masks and gloves and they have the 6 feet distancing rule. Their dining area is closed as well. Their customer service is great! I was craving coffee and boba at the same time and I told the cashier that and she recommended me the creme brûlée and I was sold. It wasn't overly sweet and it have that coffee flavor that I was craving! My husband has a crazier craving... he likes taro with a hint of lemon. They did not really hit the mark on this one but then again, his flavor request is not really a conventional one. The only reason for the 4 star is the price which is pretty pricey. Here's the review: Drink (4/5): For the drink, I ordered the avalanche which the menu states is a "snowy milk" drink with custard pudding and boba. Oh and can't forget the caramel drizzle too! Overall, the drink was pretty good. I do find that the drink is pretty sweet (my fault for changing the sweetness) if you leave it as is. The custard and boba is also yummy; however, I do wish that there was more of the snowy milk. I felt that there was just an imbalance between the two but that's just my preference. Like I said, the drink was pretty good though. Atmosphere (5/5): The store was very cleanly and well organized. Decided to take a stop in the bathroom and it was also very clean. The ambience is really nice as it was mostly white accents with nice decor. There's even a wall with photos of drinks to showcase what's their most popular drinks. My fiancé and I decided to try new places for bobas. We came across Teacup because it's close to where we live. My fiancé got the mangonada and I got the strawberry matcha latte with the mini boba. We both love our drinks. His mangonada is very refreshing and so is mine. I thought the strawberry would be overpowering the matcha but it's not. I can still tasted both although I didn't really like the mini boba. I probably used to the regular ones. The environment is great for hangouts and get together with family and friends. I needed a caffeine fix. But, since coffee and I go together like oil and vinegar, I decided to try their Thai Ice Tea. So, I ordered a small one. Paid the bill, and took a seat at a table. They were pretty quick in bringing it over. I inserted my straw, and took a big sip. It tasted very good. But, I think they used too much water when they made this batch. Like Indian tea, tea leaves, are the best to use. And, Teacup does that, too. However, as someone who has drank a lot of Thai Iced tea over the years, this one wasn't as good as I was expecting. Granted she only got 25% sweetness so it was lacking in flavor. I gave my oreo chocolate a 6/10. Heavy chocolate flavor- I was expecting more of a cookies and cream taste but it just tasted like a dark chocolate slushy to me which was okay. I should've stuck to a basic Thai Tea. The decor is white-toned and always feels cool and clean throughout. I love the relaxed, calming feel inside. And, if you want, there is also a small patio area with seating outside (on the sidewalk). Service: Having come in multiple times, I've been served by a different person each time. Everyone I have interacted with has been beyond polite, helpful, interested in my satisfaction, and knowledgeable in the menu items. I always feel positive after ordering (and picking up my order). I have to mention how quickly my items are made (I've only ordered drinks). Overall, the service is excellent and my experience is always a pleasure. Food: There are a variety of options here - from pre-made recipes to "create-your-own". They have milk teas, smoothies, slushies, coffees, espressos, and all sorts of flavorings for each. You can also add standard boba, crystal boba, popping boba, custard, jellies, and more to your drinks (or dessert items, which also have a separate variety of topping choices). Nothing that I've had is "wowing" but everything that I have had has been a solid good experience. Flavors are not as strong as I'd like but still very consistent and delicious. They serve a few food items, though there is a large sign noting that the "popcorn chicken" is currently "discontinued". - Menu picture attached. Pricing: Some items seem well-priced while others are a bit over-priced. I feel the "add-ins" at 85 cents are more expensive than other places. And, while it's not a big difference in price, I'm never a fan of the issue they have with their displayed menu. Solid 4 in my book even though I felt that the black milk tea was a biiit too watery for my taste. I dropped by Teacup on a Saturday around 3:30 pm and decided to go with a classic -- black milk tea with boba! The cups here are super cute and the real glutton in me decided to grab the larger of the two sizes offered. The milk tea was good, but a little watery imo -- I would have gotten less ice if I'd known that the tea would be a bit weak. The boba itself was great! Good texture and flavor overall! The interior of this place is adorable and there is a fair amount of seating. Definitely some instagrammable backgrounds here too. Yummmers!! We were looking for a place to grab a late night cup of coffee. Personally, you all know I'm partial to a certain brand that we won't name here. Nonetheless, I am cautiously optimistic about this place and excited when I read their menu and find out they have my favorite boba teas. Hubby quickly knew what he wanted for his coffee. Since it was almost 8pm, I was glad they are a boba house because coffee that late, I'd be up all night. Or at least, it would keep me from falling asleep faster. The menu is not as extensively pact as other houses that I frequent, but they had my flavors. Strawberry and banana green tea with strawberry popping bobas. Just enough caffeine to get me through a game of clue when we got to my friends house. They also have other fruit snack options as well as of course coffee and tea options. The atmosphere is awesomely amazing. The decor is on point and the staff was super boba friendly. ( Sorry couldn't help myself, been lacking in my pun side lately). OH-EM-GEE! Now this is drinks done right!! The drinks here taste fantastic and the service is quick. I went here 3 times and I was only in town for a week. Lol. First trip: I got the Strawberry Matcha Latte (strawberry puree + matcha green tea) and it was a true dream come true. The strawberry bits are amazing and it's such a pretty drink. My mom ordered the Avalanche (milk w/custard pudding + drizzled in golden caramel) and it was sooooo yummy. So much caramel goodness! Second Trip: We got the Oreo Chocolate Goodness (oreos + chocolate and MORE CHOCOLATE) and boba. It was suuuuper chocolate-y. Loved it but next time I would get it without the boba. I don't get all the raving reviews for this place. It's nothing more than a hole in the wall that looks and smells like a restroom. Sure, a clean restroom but still. I think my blood type must be B for "boba." Joyce W. had convinced me that we should go over the river and through the woods to get boba today and it wasn't a bad suggestion. Teacup is a very clean and minimalistic boba shop with a very easy-to-read menu. You can customize your own milk tea or get a specialty drink or even an Italian soda. If you want some food, they have churros, bubble waffles, and popcorn chicken available for purchase. But the best looking snack in the joint was Joyce W.! ;D (She made me write that -- that oppression, man) On this trip, we had ordered an Avalanche, a Strawberry Matcha Latte, and some popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was nicely seasoned, not overbearingly salty like other places, and the accompanying sauce was nice. The boba here is fresh, soft, and chewy. My mom got a blended taro/coconut with boba and she said it was great too. Super disappointed in the service. My friend and I ordered 2 no sweetener jasmine green teas and 2 Sunrise drinks. Jayden only heard 1 green tea, which would not be a problem but Jayden's response and attitude made it a problem. She very sarcastically said "you only ordered one. I can get another one but I will have to charge you." First of all, I clearly ordered 2 and my friend who was with me, also said 2. Secondly, I'm not trying to get anything for free ever! And 3rd, I did not appreciate Jayden's tone or attitude. It was her mistake, not mine. It would not have been a big deal, but her attitude made it a deal breaker and was so unnecessary. So when I took a sip of my tea, it clearly had sweetener. Jayden, with her attitude AGAIN, said "I did not sweeten." Seriously? Like I don't know the difference between sweet and unsweetened? I know it was lightly sweetened. What is up with the attitude of this worker?! I understand we all have bad days, but this worker looks like she just has no business working in the customer service industry. Jayden offered to remake it (seriously I got the feeling she was not capable of even pretending to be pleasant) - once again with an attitude, she insisted she could remake it because she wanted me to "be satisfied" with my drink. I get a little nervous when a worker has to remake a drink or meal because you never know if they Will become creative, if you know what I mean LOL! My friend watched Jayden remake it so there were no issues. As we waited, I asked Justin (another worker who has been very pleasant every time I have been here) the name of his co-worker (at that point I didn't know her name). Instead of Justin answering, Jayden walked towards me and once again with an attitude said "my name is Jayden." I have never had to deal with such a cocky attitude for such a simple order. Bottom line...I am paying over $5 for a green tea and more for the Sunrise drinks. All I want is what I paid for...nothing more, not even a bad attitude from the person working in the facility. It was a simple order, not sure why it had to be so complicated but with workers like Jayden, businesses like this clearly don't need my money. Always amazing when I stop in Teacup. Service is amazing and we are always greeted instantly. Today my daughter were spending some time together and we decided to visit for a drink before the other kids got out of school. My new favorite is the pink milk tea. I could drink it all day! My daughter wanted to try something new, but was worried she may not like it. I was so pleased when they told her they could make her a sample of one of the other milk teas. Not many places will do that so I appreciated it so much. She ended up going in an entire different direction and went back to her favorite the Oreo goodness. Unfortunate that a young brown-haired, caucasian woman who worked there was rude to me when I asked her to clean a table. She was only going to do one side and when I asked she do the other side too - she snapped at me.
