This is a cute little place. BobaBay is simply decorated with a warm and clean atmosphere. Upon entering I was cheerfully greeted by the staff. I had many questions. I was told that they served light Vietnamese fare and Boba (Bubble Tea). I had Yelped them and found that they served Banh Mi sandwiches. Chicken, Beef, Pork and Vietnamese Ham. Yum! I got the pork. They also have vermicelli and rice bowls. I think I will try the Chicken and Beef rice bowls next. I also had a pyramid dumpling which I think was sticky rice, Mung bean and pork. Came for a valentine dessert with my middle daughter as after a savory dinner you go hang out for a sweet treat. She chose boba and this place wasn't close but was on our way home. The space was nice had a few little toy claw games and the space was clean. Not sure if the girls working were doing homework or what but they had a laptop on the front counter and were friendly but definitely distracted by what they had going on there. I'm not the boba drinking and for my 10 year old to say this place tasted like it was mostly syrup was surprising. We got the Smashed Avocado. It was refreshing and delicious but I think it'd be absolutely amazing if it had lychee jelly and some toasted coconut shavings. Everything inside was clean and pretty. Staff was nice. They have free wifi there and some outlets so I will definitely be coming to study and do work there! I was craving Boba and went to this shop today. I ordered Passion fruit green tea with boba but no ice. This is what I got - less than half cup they give you if you order no ice drink. The owner not even informed/ warned the customer they will do that to the customer if they order no ice drink. They put the seal without telling customer what's going on. I was shocked when I saw my drink with less than half way full. This is too cheap and I paid $7.80 for this drink. I've really be craving a strawberry Dubai chocolate cup, so I tried this again. This time they were open, they were advertising the strawberry Dubai chocolate cup on an a-frame in front of the counter, but said "they don't have it yet, maybe next month". Been wanting to check out new boba spots on this side of town and came across BOBA BAY! Cute, Clean , Cozy spot with plenty of parking. We ordered couple brown sugar milk teas with boba , thai tea with boba, Viet coffee and couple banh mi aka sandwiches along with popcorn chicken. Would have to say Viet coffee was great, milk tea and Thai tea were good however boba could be softer. Customer service was excellent both ladies very personable and kind. Out of the beef and combo banh mi, we enjoyed the combo more as it was more tasty in our opinion and tastes like the OG banh mi we grew up loving! Now popcorn chicken could be crispier and more flavorful , and that was prob our least favorite. But we definitely will be returning to try other things on their menu :) read more

I was looking for a new spot to check out that not only had good options for milk tea, but a little food as well. BobaBay was fairly close to where I was at so I made the drive over. The location is easy to find and parking was no problem. There were even some restaurants near it I had not seen before, but that's for another day. Right when we walked in I loved it. Service was wonderful. Not only did the person working the counter greet us the other person in the back came out to say hello as well. I was pleased to see they offer Hokkaido Milk Tea and honey boba as that is my favorite combo . House Teas are usually great too, but Hokkaido is definitely my go to. The location was cute inside and even had a nice spot for instagram worthy pics with neon light board and all. There were some game options or sit and play as well. I'd read about the egg rolls so I placed an order or try those as well. My son chose strawberry tea with strawberry popping boba. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. The egg rolls had the perfect crunch and flavor. The sauce to dip was yummy as well. Three egg rolls come per order so if other group is larger I'd order more of course. My husband and I have been searching for a boba/latte spot on the west side. We came across this on Apple Maps and WOW. 10/10. Upon entering the sweet lady at front instantly greeted me and is very kind. The store is clean and has a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. I ordered a Large Ube Coffee and got my husband the Strawberry Matcha Latte. These drinks are the best on the west side! The coffee is a nice rich and creamy and smooth tasting. Paired with the Ube just takes it to another level. We are now forever customers! To be 100 percent honest if I could leave a 0 stars I would. We ordered a honeydew smoothie with lychee jelly and also a Taiwan milk tea with regular boba. First of all the smoothie was not even a smoothie it literally tasted and looked like juice with shaved ice. The Taiwan milk tea had literally NO flavor and the boba was as hard as could be. Let alone the boba and jelly were a dollar each. I tried going in to get a refund literally 1 minute afterwards but the worker closed down the whole restaurant even though the sign at the front says 8pm closing time. He proceeded to close at 7pm. I would not come back here and I would highly recommend everyone that's interested don't either! STILL WANT MY REFUND BTW read more
