The only reason he had to come back in the afternoon was because we hadn't purchased the fixtures yet. We used Dan and his team to install a lateral cleanout on our property. We recently had a bad sewage clog and used another service to get it unclogged. The other service recommended us to replace our whole sewage pipe (which would have cost upward of ~$6-$7k. I found Dan on Yelp and in our initial call, he was patient and detailed in explaining to me why replacing a sewage pipe shouldn't be the first action item (rather, it should be the last resort). We then scheduled for him to come to our property to see the extent of the work that needed to be done. I got a project in dire need of sewer lateral inspection and Team Contractors came to the rescue. Khoa and his crew came promptly/on-time, quickly assessed the situation and prepped the sites for visual inspection. Given the lack of clean out on the property, Khoa had a team member went down to the crawlspace and inserted the camera from there. After determining the sewer line is in good shape, he came again for the inspection showing the condition of sewer line to the city inspector. He also insured that we had a good copy of the video recording so we can provide the video to the city for record. All these works were done in a very short period of time. My first review! This is rather meaningful because it has to do with our home. Was cleaning up my office when I noticed that the baseboard of one wall was soft to the touch and on the other side of that wall was a shower stall! I was pretty worried at that point. A _powerfully_ foul smell started emanating from what appeared to be the shower in the guest bathroom this morning. I called Team Contractors, and they were able to come out about two hours after the call. When they arrived for the 11:30 appointment at 11:31, they apologized for being late (right as I was about to compliment them on their punctuality!) In about fifteen minutes, they determined that there was nothing wrong with the pipes, and decided to check out the crawlspace below the house. We recently had to upgrade the main valve to our house because it was too old and corroded to support new irrigation lines that we were putting in. I am so happy to have found Khoa and Team Contractors. I scoured Yelp before deciding on them - they had great reviews, they're kind enough to respond to reviewers, and they actually answered their phone!!! You often have to leave a message with contractors and hope someone gets back to you in a timely manner. (Of the other 2 plumbers I called, I had to leave messages, and one never called back.) Khoa was extremely nice, professional, polite, and clean. Snaked my kitchen drain and charged a fair price. He also came back right away when I noticed that there was now a bit of water underneath my sink. Turned out that the last time pipe was worked on, it wasn't tightened properly, and with all the water being flushed through from the visit, some leaked out. He tightened it for me (no charge) and was very sweet about doing it. I wish I could write two reviews both for 5 stars, but I don't want to spam on yelp. Let me start out by saying we purchased a new home and once we moved in we realized that we need some additional work done to the house. We needed a garbage disposal installed in our sink. Flood lights outside and a hole for our dryer vent in the garage. I reached out to a bunch of people on yelp but most of them replied with "they don't do electrical" just pluming. We recently purchased a home and knew that we needed gas pipes redone to code. After talking to multiple plumbers we chose Team contractors, after talking to Dan. Dan is a very honest and straight talking guy. He explained in detail the work that was needed and provided with a fair quote. Dan and and his partner Khoa redid all the gas plumbing, installed a Navien tankless water heater and made sure we passed the city inspections. Soon after moving in, we started having issues with sewage backup. After getting the rooter services a couple of times which was temporarily fixing the issue, we decided to call Team Contractors to find the underlying problem. Dan & Khoa were prompt to come in over the same weekend and found the issue (sewer line gradient under the house was not enough causing the backups). They scheduled the fix within the same week and they fixed the issue. And a third time, when we again faced sewage backup, Dan and Khoa came out on a Friday night to help us out. They used camera line to pinpoint the cause for the backup (turned out to be a piece of corroded cast iron piece which collapsed into the joint between the house and the city line). They had to cut out and replace a piece of this old pipe, which was under the Japanese maple in front of the house. They took great care not to destroy the tree, even though it meant more work for them. Once they were done, they put everything back together as if it were never dug-up. They are very knowledgeable, highly professional, always keep their timelines and do a thorough job including setup and cleanup at the end. I would highly recommend team contractors. read more

My water heater needed replacement and I had to go back and forth several times between the warranty company and the manufacturer to fix it. All this while we had to have cold showers for over a week after diagnosing the problem which was an internal leak. I looked up yelp and found Dan who promptly agreed to come by and fix the issue. The quote I got from Dan was literally half of what the manufacturer was quoting me. He showed up the same afternoon, an hour after we spoke and worked his way towards removing the heater, driving up to Home Depot to find a replacement and even making a detour to the ATM since I had to draw out some money to pay him. I was in the middle of a plumbing crisis and unable to find a plumber who could correct the problem. Decided to try Team Contractors and another plumber based on some of the reviews. Dan answered my call in person and was very polite to talk to. I described the problem and he setup a time to come and look at my issue and give me an estimate. On the day of the estimate Dan came when scheduled and called in advance to let me know he was on the way. All very professional and efficient. After spending sometime going over my problem and agreeing on a solution, we settled on what I thought was a fair price. Dan said he was able to get a technician over to my home the next day to the job. Unbelievable service, as I had been waiting or over two weeks to get my bathroom finished and still no end in sight at this point. Maybe Dan felt sorry for me lol. This was a tough job but Dan assured me that his guy could handle it. Khao was the tech who came to do the job.The job was very difficult and required drilling and cutting into installed glass tile (very, very delicate stuff), then installing a divertor valve into existing new water lines. Khao politely confiremd that he could handle this job. Then he took his time, made his measurements and got to work. He completed the glass tile cutting perfectly. (For reference another plumber who had estimated the job as well, sent over a guy who told me "we don't cut glass tile, we're plumbers", very useful right? Then his boss told him that they "have a guy" who can cut tile. Comments like these are deal breakers for me.) Back to Khao, he went and installed the valve in my ideal position. A position that I didn't even think was possible due to the existing water lines. The valve and handle kit were positioned perfectly. The new lines were routed nicely and the whole job was very slick. Expertly done. Finally Khao took the time cleanup really well. To put it simply, Khao is the man. So to recap, they were courteous, timely, professional and expert. Can't really give more praise than that. Based on my experiences good plumbers are really, really hard to find.
