Yesterday Daniel (Danny) came over to replace 3 toilets in my condo. I really appreciated his skill, professionalism and patience. He had to bring 2 toilets up a long row of stairs and he didn't complain one bit. He exchanged the toilets, then removed the old toilets and all boxes, which is included in the fee. The work area and toilets were left neat and clean when job was complete. I was also kept well informed and all questions were answered throughout the process. Where's the 0 stars when you need them. This company starting quote was $69 to unplug a kitchen drain. Soon after it went to $2,500. After almost 48 hour of "working" and leaving to go get "supplies" and food. Dennis Silva and his crew gave me a 13,500 quote!!!!!! Showed me a "picture" of the drain. So very sad that Dennis Silva takes advantages of senior citizens to pad his pockets. Thank you to Michael Sotile the owner of Ability Plumbing and his crew. We called to have our toilet looked at for a clog. The Plummer showed and told us that the toilet needed to be replaced and quoted $900 without snaking the line. We refused the service and got a different Plumming service. The other Plummer charged $120 to snake the toilet and everything is functioning fine. I typically do not write reviews and I can not speak this companies work but I can to phone service. I called to get a quote and I set up for a service to happen. I get a call back shortly afterwards where they have tripled the price based off of them looking the address up and seeing a photo where they determined where I lived were Condos/townhomes based on photos regardless of when I made the purchase that the home is classified as a single family home on the paperwork. The "style" is a condo but that is not the classification. If they want to charge more for condos and such, all good but do not get on the phone and tell me what my property is classified as AND try and tell me that I do not own the land based on a photograph you looked up on the internet. I find that very unprofessional. read more

When I called them back after they left to complain about this issue, they calmly apologized and said they would issue me a refund. However, rather than give me a refund, they blocked my cell number and have yet to give me the refund, avoiding contact with me to refuse accountability for their mistake. read more

Uses bait and switch tactic to lure you into paying an exorbitant amount of money for a small job because they will unearth a new problem that requires more money to address. Also will charge you even if you call to cancel the the job within 24 hrs. They charged me $3000 to escavate 3 2x2 hole, hydrojet the line and add a cleanout in the laundry area. The technician they sent could not clear the drain and said it will cost over $800 to replace a pipe. 5/3/20 (coronavirus and protesting era) I had a faucet leak in one of my tenant bathroom. I called this company at around 10am and they came by around 1:30 pm same day. It was cool that the company texted me information on their technician and provided me a picture of him (Hi David). David was so nice and professional when he showed up to my front gate he was wearing his mask. His positive attitude and tone and his smiles, I knew this guy was legit. Before entering the room he slipped on these surgical shoe mask and then I showed him the faucet. Within the hour, he was done. Requested for someone to come out and give us a quote for replacing our water heater, which they informed me started at $2500. The man who inspected the water heater suggested we replace our water and gas supply lines as well since it was an old house. His quote was over $4500, the water heater he wanted to install costs $900. I don't understand what costs so much. He said he would email me a quote, but never did. My Dad woke on on a Sunday morning to both of his bathrooms flooded and backed up sewer. We called Team Rooter and they came out right away, did everything to assess what was happening. We had a problem with a leak and poor drainage in a bar sink in our home's den. I called Team Rooter and James Craig arrived in less than 2 hours. The problem took twice as long as he estimated, as the galvanized drain pipe under the bar was the same age as our house (over 50 years), and the threads on each end had rusted through the entire wall thickness of the pipe! James had very poor access under the sink, and had to cut through drywall to even access the problem. James was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous, and cleaned up the entire area when he was done. He honored the price quoted at the outset, despite all the unknown problems. I am sure Team Rooter is proud to have James on their "team." If I ever need a plumber again, I will ask for him by name. read more

Called and scheduled an appointment to unclog the drain for the kitchen sink. Team Rooter emailed a reminder and the technician called before he arrived. Edwin the technician was very professional and clean. He explained everything in detail and went over all the options. He ran the snake twice and unclogged the drain. Hiring this company was the biggest mistake I've made in a long time. I hired them to fix a toilet and when they shut off the water, the pressure regulator broke. I called them to come fix it and they said "not our problem." What? The regulator was working fine before the plumber arrived, and busted after... Let's do the math. They said "it's all in the paperwork you signed, we are not liable." So, I then asked them to give me a quote for the repair, and they up-charged me 3K!!! Trying to take advantage of me clearly. (I know this was an unfair estimate based off of 2 other companies I had come out and inspect. Long story short, I would give them zero stars if I could. Go with someone else. Team Rooter came out to fix a drain problem I had. They were extremely expensive but I paid because they were the only people who could come the same day. They charged me $600.00 to clean out the drain and put in a camera to see the problem. They told me that I had roots in the pipe and needed to rip up the bathroom floor and replace the pipe. That was not true. There were NO roots. The pipes were all fine. I had another company come out and do the same thing for 200.00. They also said there was no clean out outside of the house so they removed the toilet to access the pipes. There was a clean out in the front yard that the other company found. I will Never call these people again.I suggest you find someone else if you need a plumber. read more
