Delicious and very reasonably priced Yunnan rice noodles! So flavorful and there's a self-serve station to add additional toppings (cilantro, green onions, basil). Food was prepared quickly (within ~5 minutes of ordering) and staff was friendly.
Stopped by Teamorrow after reading the good reviews and got very disappointed with our order of the Taro milk tea and Hokkaido milk tea. The taro milk tea tastes artificial in a weird way. The Hokkaido milk tea is basically iced milk. I can barely tastes any tea. They are pricey for the quality. $13 for two small boba. The ac was so weak and it's stuffy inside. I wouldn't want to spend time here. Won't come again.
Food: Taro Taiwanese Shaved Ice was really good. The shaved milk ice was fluffy and creamy and melted with no crunch. It was not overly sweet and the taro flavor was subtle. There were two sizes. Small is good for 1-2 people, and we were told that large serves 3-4. The popcorn chicken and crispy tofu were both good, as advertised, and actually crispy. They were served with cayenne and soy sauce on the side. Food came out surprisingly fast. Drinks took a bit longer. Drinks: Tried the Matcha Bandera with mango instead of strawberry. I also subbed oat milk instead of regular milk. I thought the flavors worked well together. Also had the Berry Hokkaido which turned out to be Hokkaido milk tea with strawberry puree. Based on the picture on their website I was expecting it to be like a smoothie, but it was just milk tea. It was fine but not very standout.
Pleasantly surprised with this cute little tea shop and restaurant. They have a nice selection of food, snacks, and drinks. Super chill environment where people can come and chat over some boba or dine in for dinner. The food is authentically Chinese from Yunnan province. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend checking this place out for a quick bite or some refreshing drinks.
The passionfruit green tea is refreshing - I recommend 100% sweetness, as it's not overpowering and gives the drink a nice balance. Service is decent. The ambiance is open and airy, with plenty of seating. I especially like the bar seating by the window--it's nice if you're looking to relax and people-watch.
I am a certified matcha lover and even more thanks to this place!! It did take awhile to make because I see they hand crafted it with love. The strawberry purée is FRESH and REAL fruit being used not the premade stuff. They make this cup to perfection with no clumps and perfect matcha strawberry ratio. Bonus point for the tiny diney on the cup. It's next to the cutest thrift store. I will drive back to Pasadena for this place.
Good boba but not good service We purchased 2 matcha strawberry bobas and asked to use the bathroom but the gentleman behind the counter said no and locked it. We asked why & he said they were closing. But they were not closing because there were still lots of people in the store & they were still waiting for their food to come outas a matter of fact, there were people who came after us & ordered food. After I begged, he finally allowed one of us to use the bathroom. The matchas were tasty & the cup they came in was cute
It's located near the intersection by the train crossing. It's a bit difficult to find parking. We found parking on the side street with only a couple mins walk. It wasn't too far. They have kiosks for self-ordering. The drinks and food took awhile to come out. Our order was for to-go. Almond milk tea tasted better than most places out there. The popcorn chicken was a bit too soggy for me.
Parking is plentiful around the block of TeaMorrow, limited to two hours. They have options to order at the self-service kiosk or directly at the cashier. On a Saturday afternoon, they have regular traffic thought not a line-out-the-door kind of atmosphere - thankfully. Members of the general community frequent TeaMorrow as part of the general strip of small businesses, and many study or work on projects here - or even a quite bite. (And yes, there's Wi-Fi!) One thing to note is that the self-service kiosk does not have Oolong Milk Tea but it does have Peach Oolong Milk Tea (??) - weird! But ordering at the front cleared up this issue; I ordered this with boba for a friend and grabbed myself a 25% (mod) sweet Almond Milk Tea. Almond is one of those "difficult to get right" drinks in my opinion, but TeaMorrow exceeded expectations, especially with the customized sugar. It was on the "tad too sweet end," but better than expected. Wait time was approximately 15 minutes, though, despite the rather empty line - perhaps a shift change.
Local South Pasadenan here. Food used to be good. Found out today the hard way. Beef noodle soup bland no flavor. Their staple popcorn chicken went down the tube. No basil no flavor. $24 for lunch not coming back. Used to be family owned by Tiger (Shawn) now bought over by some bogus business group about a year ago that changed the recipes to probably save a buck. Let's get better food here and boycott in South Pas and support a new local small businesses. Do not recommend.
the noodles here are fantastic! they have an authentic broth and a variety of noodle choices. they also offer many different milk, fruit, and classic teas. my food came fast and was even served by one of the baristas! the store is clean and gives me a cozy vibe with all the decorations! 10/10 i would definitely come here again.
Drinks are decent, singling out their peach oolong tea, but a lot of misses when it comes to their toppings. I had their seasonal mango mayhem, and it had a combination of soft mango chunks that tasted like they came from a can, and also rock solid chunks that were not yet ripe. It was as if they were more fillers to take up more space in order to minimize the amount of liquid because they were not consumable. The sago was also a weird combination where some were really cooked and the others were really hard. The regular boba is too soft. Overall, I'd say quality of drinks and boba are comparable to Prolecé Tea in Old Town Pasadena, though I'd probably see myself going to Prolecé over TeaMorrow since it's open later.

Decided to stop by this place because of all of the Yelp pictures, we were not disappointed :) We tried the Matcha Hokkaido Milk Tea with cheesecake foam and First Kiss. Matcha Hokkaido Milk Tea: The combination between the cheesecake foam and the milk tea was just perfect. Even though it might be a bit sweet, but the saltiness from the cheesecake foam just balanced it out. Great drink! First Kiss: Again, it might be a bit on the sweeter side but it was still good. They also used real rosebud pieces. Great drink as well! Overall, I will definitely come back again. The food looks good too, so I will definitely try it out if I am in the area. read more
It's really nice to have a new place to get great food. Beef soup, shrimp dumplings, chicken curry, jasmine milk and tea eggs. Yum! So good! We ate there twice in a week, which is an indication of how tasty the food is. I look forward to exploring more of their food and drink options. read more

This is one of my favorite places to study and drink boba. I have tried first kiss (rose milk tea) and lychee black tea, and the lychee is my go-to. Parking - plenty of 2-3hr parking nearby the neighborhood from 7am-7pm. Can park on meridian or mission. Avoid Thursdays due to Farmers market from 3pm onward. Price - 4-5 bucks depending on regular or large size for boba drinks. Food - try the tea eggs, they are delicious!! Served warm and soy flavored. They also have zazangmyun, curry with rice, beef noodle soup, and chili wontons. Room - the background music is great, mix of hip-hop and mainstream. The ceilings are high giving a sense of roominess. The decor is very modern with hanging lamps and a wood/white theme. There is central a/c which is great during the summer months Seating - whenever I come, there's always a seat. Staff - very friendly and welcoming. The cashiers and boba drink mixers are super nice. Possibly my new favorite boba spot. Situated in South Pas amongst an antique store, cute independent boutiques, it's a cool, airy, beautiful space to relax in over a nice cup of tea. They have a decent selection, all aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the "first kiss" which is a lovely pink and contains real roses. I'll need to go back there soon to try the other drinks! read more
I bookmarked this place for studying as it looked incredibly cute and I'm a die hard matcha fan. I was a little disappointed with my experience overall, mainly due to the food. PROS: -The decor is A+. It's such a clean, modern, cutely decorated space with a high ceiling and very open feel. There's a good amount of outlets towards the window and luckily we snagged some tables that had them. They have mostly 2 people tables with a few larger 4 person tables. Clean bathrooms! Quick wifi. -Really friendly service! -Matcha tea quality was good, like legit ceremony grade. I saw them making it with the brushes all chadou (tea ceremony) style. Why don't they come in a large size??? Can only get matcha drinks in regular size. -Parking is fairly easy to find on the street. CONS: -The FOOD. First, the curry was $10.99 for a super small portion of curry that looked and tasted like the block kind you get to make at home. Still tasty but not worth it, also their dressing on the side salad no joke was very thick and congealed like mayonnaise (not sure what it was supposed to be). The shrimp won tons would have been good but I would advise you to NOT get the noodles because they're just like spaghetti and are out of place. While eating it, I thought to myself how I would appreciate some greens in the soup and that's when I found not one but TWO pieces of spinach. I wasn't sure if that was intentional or a mistake lol, gotta add way more if it was intentional. What about the chinese broccoli man?! I saw people eating the dry shrimp won tons without soup and that looked better. -Other drinks run on the sweeter side. Peach green tea at 50% sweet was still super sweet for my taste. They do offer to adjust it for you if it's not to your taste though. -Weird incense smell coming from the adjacent stores (I know it's not Teamorrow's fault, but it was distracting) If I didn't get food, I would've given it a higher rating but unfortunately, I got hungry while studying there and that's where I got let down. But the ambiance and study vibes is A+ here (just beware of the incense floating in from next door). read more

My new favorite spot in south Pasadena The staffs are super nice, friendly and welcoming. The tea is good quality. To see if the tea is good, one has to try just the plain jasmine green tea. The tea is very fragrant and not too heavy or bitter. The sweetest is just right. I don't have to adjust the sweetest level. The food is acceptable for a boba shop. The environment is clean and airy. Love the large windows looking out to the train track, very beautiful and inspirational. read more

There's a disruptor in the boba market! This place offers TIRAMISU FOAM. Don't think twice, just try it. It was absolutely delicious. Tip: Make sure you check in on Yelp for a free size upgrade! Drinks: Teamorrow offers an expansive menu with foam drinks, milk teas, matcha, and Taiwanese food. So far, I've tried the matcha with cheese foam, jasmine milk tea with tiramisu foam, hokkaido milk tea, and assam milk tea so far. You can definitely taste that they use high quality tea. I really appreciate that the drinks aren't overly sweet like at other boba shops. The boba is perfectly chewy and slighttttttly sweet. Service: The owners at the shop are extremely nice and caring! They make sure that you like your drink before you leave, and they're happy to adjust if you're not satisfied. They're great with recommendations if you're overwhelmed with the options. They pay attention to detail - they helped me tape a shovel to my tiramisu foam drink to go :) Ambiance: This place is 100% instaworthy. Some people come here to eat and drink, and some others are there to get work done. There are outlets and the place is well-lit and feels very comfortable. There's trendy, modern artwork on the walls, and it looks like they'll be posting student artwork in the future. Super cool that they are engaging with the Pasadena student community! Food and service is excellent! The spicy beef noodle soup was flavorful, and beef was tender. The pork chive dumplings were a great value--there were so many for only $8. The scallion pancakes on the secret menu were perfectly crisp. My friend and I tried the taro milk tea with boba and earl grey milk tea with grass jelly. We did 50% sweetness which was a lot milder than I'm used to (even though I typically order 25%-50% at other boba places). I'd recommend a higher level of sweetness for more flavor. read more

I'm so happy I found this place! It's super cute and they have delicious drinks. The service is great and it's also a nice place to work (free WiFi, restrooms). It can get a bit loud though so being a pair of headphones if you're planning to work. They also have simple dishes if you get hungry or craving something savory. I tried the vegetarian dumplings. Good taste but a bit watery (a lot of liquid on the dish). read more

Located by the bookstore so the entrance is through the entrance that shared with the bookstore. We came here when it was just opened 2 weeks ago, pretty glad to try it out in their early stage. If you're lost, look for the dinosaur! They told us that they specialized in matcha as it is from Japan and is the highest quality. They also specialized in cheese foam so naturally their match iced latte with cheese foam should be their best drink. Being not too big on cheese myself, my boyfriend got the cheese foam and he loved it. He said it tasted very similar to a cheesecake and the matcha was very delicious. I got the green milk tea with boba half sweet and the tea taste came through strong which is good! Normally half sweet would make it kind of bland but it had a really good balance. The boba was good too - not too sweet and chewy. We didn't try any of their food yet but next time! They don't have fried food but they have curry and noodles. They have dan dan noodles which is apparently made a "little bit different" - can't wait to try it! read more

Stumbled upon here unexpectedly and asked for a matcha latte with soy milk substitute. The best part was that they ask you how much sugar you want in it. I said none, and none it was! They also had Taiwanese/Chinese food that looked really good. I wasn't hungry, so I didn't try it. But other people seemed to be enjoying it. I plan on coming back for the food next time. read more

I got the Jasmine Milk Tea with boba at 25% sweetness. I'm from Taiwan, the birth place of boba tea. This shop is legit. The owners care about the customers and take pride in the quality of the drinks. As long as they keep this up as they scale, this place will do well. Looking forward to try the food next time. read more

Came here in the afternoon trying to find a study space. They recently opened 3 months ago and it's a cute place! They don't have coffee but they have good milk tea/boba and Asian food/snacks. I got 25% sweet and it tastes just right (50% was a tad bit too sweet from me). The earl grey milk tea and the first kiss milk tea was good. I'd suggest getting the boba (it's really soft and chewy!) ... haha please don't lose the quality of your boba with time :( The cashier girl and (the owner?) was really nice and were super accommodating, asked if we needed suggestions etc. I would come back again. Parking is street (2hrs) or I parked behind the monarca parking because I think they share the same lot(?) Price comes out to 4-6 dollars depending on size. Good quiet study spot and ample amounts of outlets nearby as well. Fast WiFi. read more

Free size upgrade with Yelp Check in or student ID. A Taiwanese tea place that opened recently in South Pasadena, an area with a large asian population and a dearth of tea places (you used to have to go over to Alhambra or Arcadia, but not anymore). Teamorrow uses good quality ingredients, and you can quickly tell. I got a Large Jasmine Green Milk Tea with boba. As expected of any outstanding tea place, you can customize the sweetness and ice levels of the drink. After making the drink, the server recommended I try it, and could make any changes needed (I had them add some more tea, but that was it). The jasmine tea was aromatic, but not over-steeped. The milk added a creaminess, but without inducing any phlegm. The only aspect that I wish was better was the boba. The amount used in the large size cup was lower than other places, and the taste from the boba was not detectable. I still prefer crystal or honey boba, which is not available here. Beyond the drinks, Teamorrow also offers some snacks, and so it would be a good place to hang out with friends, spend a few hours studying, or just people watching on Mission Street. read more
