Earl Grey Milk Tea and Matcha Snow

Back again and got a matcha smoothie again! As per usual, you order on a monitor, wait and in my case leave. The smoothie was delicious, but the red bean needed to be grounded up more.

I'm not a boba connoisseur by any means and most boba drinks taste the same to me anywhere I go. That being said, Teapot has solid drinks. Teapot is located in College Square across from Mountain Mike's and Giant Chef. We usually come in a few times a month with the kids. They have a rewards program that can be used towards free drinks. Ambience is fast, casual and trendy-- will happily return!

Oreo milk tea with boba (no ice, 80% sweet)
    Laura E.

I've tried Teapot twice - once in 2022 and more recently on 10/23/2024. I had the Oreo milk tea (80% sweet, no ice) on the first visit, which was watered down. As an Oreo lover, I was disappointed. Interestingly, not all boba spots offer Oreo milk tea. I might have ordered the sesame balls during that visit too. Can't recall anything remarkable about the sesame balls, though it's pretty hard to mess them up. On my most recent visit, I got coffee milk tea (50% sweet but the ice cannot be adjusted). It comes with coffee jelly. It had the right amount of sweetness and coffee. Similar to the drinks, the service has been inconsistent. I think my drink came out quickly during my first visit, even though I went later in the afternoon. Although the shop was empty at 12 pm on my most recent t visit, it took at least 5 mins (maybe more?) for someone to take my order. To be fair, the person working there appeared to be the only employee. Once she took my order, I didn't have to wait too long for the drink to be ready. Cash or card accepted. Plenty of parking available. Since I'm not in that part of town often, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. However, I might consider coming back if there's a reason I'm in the area. With other boba spots in pleasant hill, I'd rather give my business to places where the drinks are consistently good and not watered down.

This is where I get my boba every time I go, I don't have any pictures of my drinks but they have over 50 flavors and everything is so sweet & good. This is what I order when I do get food and it's so tasty

They don't take clover anymore so if you earned a drink you can't redeem it. What a bummer. This used to be an Itea and then they changed the name. Menu honestly is pretty similar to Itea. Right now they're running a promo Monday-Friday with the purchase of a drink there's a $5 food add. I usually order the roasted oolong kreama and popcorn chicken. If the promo isn't there the popcorn chicken is about $7-8. Service is...the kiosk. They don't greet you, you just go and order at the kiosk unless you pay cash. Ambiance - the place is a little run down and not all the lights are on. Okay place. There is parking outside as it's in a plaza.

Love this spot! Ordered the classic milk tea and the garlic ramen -- both were really good. The milk tea was smooth, not too sweet, and the boba had that perfect chewy texture. The garlic ramen was flavorful, warm, and comforting, great portion too. Cozy place to chill and grab a drink or quick meal. Definitely worth coming back for another round! Server was nice

Popcorn chicken doesn't have enough basil flavor. The drinks are not bad for the price. I love how they have specials. Afternoon tea special - buy a drink and get a snack for $5.

Came here during my lunch hour on a Monday and there was only 1 person working. I am not a big fan of the Kiosk ordering (not just for this place, for every place) since at times they don't give you a lot of options for alterations of your order, but I get it helps with the business when only 1 staff is available. Also, it makes it hard to ask questions when the worker is all way down the other side of the restaurant and it sucks being that one holding up the line to walk all the way down to ask questions. For having low staff during lunch hour, you may have to wait a little, but they do have online ordering a head of time which we didn't know since we came on a whim after eating lunch. Grape Cheese Kreama with boba -This was the main reason why I came here, to try this drink! Not many places have grape blended tea boba so I was excited to try it here. Did it live up to my expectations? Yes! I love the real fruit used and with the added boba and cheese cream, it just hits the spot for a summer day. So refreshing! I admit, it was not the best rendition of this drink I've had since it was a little more on the icy side, but it was still flavorful and worth a try if you haven't had this drink! Mind you, don't let the idea of grape turn you away, I have never liked those nasty grape fruit juices from brands like Welchs or grape soda has been a hit or miss for me, but having grape drink fresh like this gives a different perspective. They also have food here, which I have not tried yet, but may be on my to do list for the future.

Delicious slushy drinks! Quick and efficient front counter service! Great food! I enjoy this Boba spot!

It's self ordering as they have two kiosks. The food was okay. Not sure if I would order it again because it was either lacking in portion or not fried/season enough. The boba comes with toppings that can opt out of. The place was clean but definitely no staff to greet you. The space was clean

I checked out the Brentwood spot before and really liked it, so I had to try the Pleasant Hill location too. The Tiger Milk Tea and Thai Tea was on point and the spam musubi hit the spot. Same friendly service, fast food, and chill vibe with the cute decor. Glad to see the main location keeps the quality just as good!

This is the original Teapot. I love the braised pork rice. First time to try the Soft Shell Crab Bun and it's so delicious. Rose green tea and white peach oolong tea are my favorite drinks. This is a good place to hung out and having snacks and drink anytime.

    Takoyaki
    Teena N.

Across from Sunvalley Mall area, parking is limited but easy. I come here every so often (more often than the other milk teas shop around here) because it is a convenient location, they have the items I want. I crave a milk tea and takoyaki, time to time, and this fixes my craving. The takoyaki is good here, mushy on the inside, bounce from the octopus, and saucy. (Not too saucy) The calamari is only the rings, no tentacles :( Not something I typically order, Mango milk tea is pretty good, got it in 30% sweetness and it was sweet enough for me. Don't let it sit too long cause it will need some swirling from the separation of maybe the syrup? And tea/milk? Popcorn chicken has basal and full garlic cloves in it. Its slightly sprinkled with some spices. My 5 year old said it was a little spicy and needed water with it.

A few times I've been here I've heard customers speaking in Korean, so you know it's legit. I usually just order their Naegymyeon on a hot day. They have so many side dishes! They also offer scissors to help with cutting. While I've had their Korean BBQ, Naegymyeon stands out the most here for me. They also have robot servers to help with delivering food to your table. The robots are from Bear Robotics who had beginnings as a Korean restaurant, so the tech is spot on. But I wish there was also integration for a call button to get a server. Human service is pretty good too. They are a little more hands off so you can enjoy your meal in peace. My only con is that they don't serve Kimbap/Gimbap. That would just be a half star off. The music was way too loud, almost like a night club - where you have to practically raise your voice to talk. It's great for guys, where their voice projects, but it's more difficult for anyone that has a bit higher. There are no tongs (but they will give you extra chopsticks). Also, the individual induction units are right on the table, instead of inset. This causes the potential of hot soup base spilling as a more likely experience for clumsy people. For the thing I love about this place? First... value for money. $29.99 per person for all-you-can-eat hotpot? This is amazing in this age where an entree is like $25-30. Appetizers are ordered 2 at a time, and meats are 6 at a time. Meats only come one on a thin tray, which holds about 4-6 slices. So you'll be ordering other helpings, since there are I believe 5 beef selections, and a pork and chicken selection (7) total. The middle of the restaurant is a large bar where you get everything that isn't a meat. The selection of vegetables, and noodles are pretty vast, and almost always refilled. The seafood area has shrimp, clams, tilapia, and mussels. Sauces area also on the sides which makes it pretty much an on-going motion. It's not the high-end of hot pot by any means, but the ambience that they're projecting works for the area that it's in and how they compete with the rest of the restaurants in the area. But for the money? I'd go here. We did sit in a side-middle area where it wasn't a booth. However, they made sure to separate out the seating so that if you were a group of 3, they situated in opposite ends to create space. That attentiveness of spacing actually created a better atmosphere which was a small thing, but a smart thing. Love that they actually celebrate birthdays with banging of pots, and wishing well. It's something that is fun for groups and definitely nice if you happen to be celebrating a birthday! Definitely will come back.
