Pretty google bubble tea was slow so fast service the tapioca does have an after taste like soap but very mild , very good will b back!

Utter disappointment. I always drive past this place and decided to finally check it out. Once inside the place is hip and colorful... 2 stars for ambiance. The bubble teas however taste as if they were made with powders instead of real fruit. The bubble teas are overly sweet and this is coming from a person who likes drinks on the sweeter side. If you can customize the sweetness that's great but I've never been to a bubble place that got the sweetness so wrong. Felt like I was drinking sugar. We will not be returning. read more

I keep trying different bubble tea places gave this one a chance got my go to thai milk tea but it was watery and powdery at the bottom I think they use powder creamer maybe very dissapointing but the actual tapioca waa good which not all places can get it right I will have to go back to my regular place even if its further away read more

We like this place. First time trying it today, but can't wait to go again. My man got the mango & banana blended iced smoothie without toppings & tapioca. I got the strawberry blended iced smoothie with mango topping. The topping was basically bursts of juice and it blended well with the strawberry flavor. The drinks weren't too sweet , which is how we like it. We went around 1pm on Sunday and there was about only a group of people already seated , so our drinks were made within minutes. So I'm new to this Boba Tea thing and I love trying new thing's, so why not right? I went to TeaRex with my family. Once there I asked the staff (a guy working the register and a young lady) How does this work, can you please break it down for us so we know how to order. First he rolled his eyes and was like Smoothie or Tea. With so many flavor combinations to choose from I was lost and didn't know what to get, they had regular boba, jelly boba and bursting boba to add to your drink of choice. I've never had any of this and he wasn't helpful at all, the girl neither, she didn't say one word. I ordered a frozen coconut with lychee bursting boba. I asked him if that was considered a smoothie and he's like "duhhhh" I was shook at that moment. What did I do to this guy to treat me this way? Clearly he was not in a good mood that day. But how was that my fault? The Smoothie was delicious, customer service was a negative ten. So that's what the two stars is for. Will not be returning to this establishment. read more

I had the opportunity to come here with my family and was pleasantly surprised. I know that a lot of bubble tea places are pretty average in the Chicago suburbs, but TeaRex is definitely above "average." The service is great, parking is ample, but most importantly, the bubble tea is delicious. My cousin got the waffle dessert and even though he only gave me one bite, I enjoyed it. First of all, the mascot Trex is super cute! Also, the place is very clean. I got a taro and green tea fusion with boba teas. So good! It was just the right amount of sweetness. Despite being able to walk to this place in only a few minutes, I only tried it a few days ago with some friends. As far as I know, there aren't too many bubble tea places in this area. This place is pretty nice, I would definitely come back if I were craving some bubble or milk tea and wanted something ASAP. I could definitely see myself coming when it gets hotter out as the cold drinks options were much more appealing to me than the hot ones. I give them props for their tapioca, I don't normally like ordering tapioca because I don't really like it that much in the first place and a lot of places are hit or miss with it. I decided to try it because I didn't think any of the other toppings would compliment the taro milk tea I ordered. TeaRex's were perfectly chewy and I ate them happily. I do wish they would give receipts or numbers for orders. It's kinda frustrating to try and listen for your order when it's busy (which it was when I went). read more

This place is probably my favorite bubble tea spot right now. They offer bubble tea for a low price and there isn't a minimum charge when you pay with card. TeaRex also has so many flavors to choose from as well as different styles of tea. What I love about the place is the atmosphere. The workers are very friendly and like getting to know their customers. They already know be by my first name! Their music choice is great too. I always catch myself singing to some of the songs they play. If I wasn't so busy, I could definitely see myself hanging out here for a long time with some friends. Lots of flavor options! I ordered the pineapple fruit tea with tapioca and strawberry bursting bubbles. I'm not a fan of super sweet drinks and I know these drinks are usually just that, too sweet and full of sugar but I asked for the tea to be less sweet and they accommodated my tastes. Watch out avalanche, and chill bubble tea you have some serious competition here! I have been coming across quiet a few posts from people posting about this place. The name is so punny. The moment you walk in you will see a cute set up with color walls, drawings of little T-Rex's all across the wall. They sell the tradition bubble tea with boba as well as fruit infused teas as well. We tried the honeydew, water melon, passion fruit, and pina colada. The honey dew was my absolute favorite, I got it with mango boba. It was blended perfectly and I did not feel any artificial flavoring after taste that you feel as most bubble tea places. The pina colada and watermelon was okay. The passion fruit was refreshing. The service was very prompt, courteous and the place inside is very tidy. I do wish to return and try some of their other flavors and also try their waffle with ice cream.
