Teas'n You is a cute little spot in Tysons for a range of savory snacks, sweet treats and drinks that goes way beyond tea. The afternoon I was there I actually opted for their special Vietnamese iced coffee which you can customize to your preferred level of sweetness. A friend went savory with the chicken sandwich while I went sweet with the tiramisu brownie. The chicken sandwich was a good size and came with a tasty sauce. The brownie was really good and also big enough to share. The seating area is small but they have managed to fit in several tables, including little ones for two right up against the walls and windows. It's a fun place to sit and relax. The ordering is done via their app or the onsite computer terminal. It is straightforward and easy. They are a cash only business so keep that in mind. The staff was friendly but I found it a little hard to get their attention when I had questions. I just ended up winging it, but, it would have been nice to get more information. The order also took a little longer than I expected, especially considering that the cold items just needed to be taken off a shelf or poured from a pitcher. That brownie though - worth the wait. Really solid boba (or non-boba) teas. That is pretty much the first requirement for a place like this. They allow you to customize to your preferences. Moderately fast service. The kiosk is fine; I would recommend ordering online ahead of time. There is no one at a counter to help if you don't know what you want. The popcorn chicken is popular and well-known for a reason. Nicely seasoned, and plentiful portion (you can share). You can get sauces and spices on the side in case you and your partner have different tolerance levels. Food - 4 service and ambiance - 4.5 I got the melon slush with jelly and will be honest and say I have never got this kind of drink before. It's hard for me to make a good assessment of the place as a whole as such. It tastes like a melon bar which is good. Doesn't taste chemically at all - milky and refreshing. The service was fast enough (kiosk ordering) and it's got more seating inside than I was expecting but not large either. We were lucky to get a spot. There is outdoor seating as well. I saw a picture of the strawberry matcha dalgona and I knew I had to try it! This drink was creamy and overall tasted like strawberry yogurt. I didn't really taste much matcha. I came on a Thursday night, and it was packed! I can definitely see why they were packed. They have a great selection of drinks and some food options, along with some desserts like cream puffs. I decided to get the strawberry fields drink with whole milk, regular sweetness, and normal ice. I also got boba in it. I thought the drink was solid. I thought it could have been a bit sweeter, but I definitely prefer a drink that isn't sweet enough opposed to one that is too sweet. The boba had really great texture. I also thought I could have asked for light ice. The service was pretty good, and the boba came out fairly quickly considering I came at a busy time. The shop is very cute, and it is a great place to hang around or study. I would definitely come back here in the future to try out some of their other drinks and food options! read more

Good food, decent timing on food waiting time. They call your name when your food is ready. *Seasalt Jasmine Tea is not too sweet which I love. *Cream puffs was bomb. It's not too sweet, the outside is crunchy and inside is sweet and sorta cold which makes it really good. The portion for the cream puff is huge though so it is shareable. *Popcorn chicken with the siracha like sauce is good and crunchy and flaoring is good. *Crinkle cookies are delicious warm. Get it warm. *Seating is good for small 2 - 3 people type of party when sitting inside. If you have a group of more than 3, you don't have much choice to sit inside so outside is better. Lots of two-person tables and a couple of ones where you can fit four. Order at the kiosk, and it shouldn't take too long for your order to come up. I know I've reviewed this establishment in the past but I wanted to give an update. It's been a few months since my first encounter and since then I've been here at least once a month. I would go more but I'm not in the area as often as I would like. I love that not only does this place have teas they have a huge macaron selection and I'm a huge sucker for those treats. So on this trip I got tiramisu and viet coffee macaron, basil popcorn chicken, garlic parmesan fries, and a strawberry matcha dalgona with coffee jelly. Everything was soo good and helped me keep my energy up for my somewhat long day. I really enjoy the staff here because they're always so kind no matter how busy or empty. They helped me pick what drink to get and I love it was one they've personally had. I prefer those recommendations than what's popular with guests. Seating is tight, however because I came early I snagged a nice spot by the game shelf. I decided to pull out guess who and connect 4 because I was feeling nostalgic. They will warm up the cookie for you. It was so good. The ube cream cold brew is strong, so you can't really taste the ube. The coco taro slush is pretty sweet, but I liked it. Super yummy. So far I've only gotten the bubble teas and the desserts but they always have some deal going on which is really great. I highly recommend the cookies. They were very good!! Tip would be to order on uber eats for the deals but right now they keep advertising their $4 drinks from 9pm-1am so that's also an option. The marketing for this cafe is just spectacular. Every time they come out with new drinks, I am tantalized by the pictures...and then deeply disappointed by the actual taste. Also, they put too much ice into their drinks. I select the "less ice" option every time, but it still feels like 50% of the drink is ice. I have selected the "no ice" option for an extra $1 on occasion, but it's still ignored 90% of the time. I wonder if they just ignore the ice selection in general so there's no difference which option you actually choose. The drinks I have tried: - Mango Sticky Rice Drink: this just tasted disgustingly sweet and artificial. Like I was drinking potpourri it was so cloying. - Hibiscus Mango Tea: this was slightly better than the Mango Sticky Rice drink as it had a bit of fruit flavor, but still overly sweet. - Mango Matcha: Could not taste the mango at all. It just tasted like watered down matcha. - Ube Cream Cold Brew: Ugh. What can I say about this except that it was bitter. There was no ube flavor, there was only the flavor of bitter. - Horchata Matcha: This tasted really grassy and earthy. I usually really like matcha drinks, but this just wasn't appealing to me. - Strawberry Matcha Dalgona: Overall the least offensive of the drinks? Not as good as the same drink at other places, but at least the flavors of this blend well enough that it's not too sweet or artificial tasting. - Lavender Matcha Latte: Too much lavender! This tasted like I just imbibed a mouthful of lavender air freshener. I almost threw up. - Blue Matcha: Watery and artificial tasting. - Coco Taro Slush: Too sweet, did not taste strongly of either coconut or taro. It just felt like I was drinking icy slush? - The fruit teas in general were all underwhelming. They were just tea with some unappetizing dried/canned fruit toppings. Why do I keep coming back here if I hate all the drinks, you ask? Because the Basil Popcorn Chicken and the Taiwanese Chicken Sandwich are out of this world! The chicken is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the basil spice gives it just a little kick that's perfectly delicious. They also have a new Hot Honey Chicken Croissant that's on the sweeter side but just as delicious. The other thing I keep coming back for are the cream puffs. I could eat ten of these and not get enough! My favorite is the Ube Coconut, which has the creaminess of ube and little bits of coconut that blend into a perfect taste concoction. The tiramisu is second in line-- not too sweet, but light and fluffy and just divine. The Coco Cloud is also really delicious, but falls slightly behind the tiramisu. They used to have a matcha flavor as well, which was always weirdly burnt and bitter. The only fail in the cream puffs. They seem to have realized it themselves, as it's no longer offered. The other pastries are pretty par for the course with nothing outstanding but also nothing unpalatable. read more

I travel for business, so I am glad I am not too close-in a good way. I have also tried the Combo Basil Popcorn Chicken. Super yummy and their fries are legit good. I got the green thai tea partly out of curiosity as I haven't seen it at other bubble tea places, and it was delicious! It's mostly the usual thai tea flavor. I got 75% sweetness and it was pretty sweet, since I don't like too much sweetness I'll likely get 50% or less next time. The boba was soft and chewy! read more

Wow it's been 4+ years since I was last at Teas'n You. They have a variety of drinks (lots of Fall Specials currently), and not just milk tea or fruit tea. They have a whole menu of cold brew (the black sesame cold brew sounds interesting, next time), slushies, and more! I also love that they sell pastries here (although a bit expensive) HONEY GREEN MILK TEA - 5.25 +0.35 for 1/2 boba topping. 25% sugar and light ice was perfect for me. I liked the lighter flavor of green tea which was sweeten with honey. It was a good mix of milk and tea and the boba was chewy and good. I'd recommend this if you want a classic milk tea and don't want to diverge from "the usual". PORTUGUESE EGG TART - 3.40 I enjoyed this a couple days later and it was still pretty good. I liked the creaminess of the egg tart, and the lightly burnt top. I'd definitely recommend eating this ASAP if you want that flaky puff pastry. Otherwise, it's soggy but I still ate it, lol. The flavor was still there. CRINKLE COOKIE - 3.95 My friend was eyeing this so I knew we had to try it. It was soft and sweet, I can taste the ube flavor but it's not very strong. My friend really enjoyed this. MOCHI MUFFIN - 4.26 I like pandan and don't see it too often, so I knew I had to try the pandan mochi muffin. The muffin was a bit on the stale end, so it wasn't as chewy as I would have liked. Still, it was tasty and went well with our drinks. My friend got the STRAWBERRY MATCHA DALGONA which was quite good and fluffy. So glad I finally tried this place! I've been on the hunt for good Vietnamese coffee and this place has GOT it! (Coming from California, I wanted something like home) I got the ube foam coffee and the base is super strong and dark (yum)! It had the characteristic Vietnamese chicory-esque smoky flavor. The foam had great ube flavor and was super thick and creamy. The combo makes for a great treat and totally hit the spot. The egg tarts were a great surprise! Black sesame was a hit with my family and I personally loved the ube. The crusts are light and flake and the custard was super smooth. Not too sweet! We came here for a little snack and we were so happy to see the basil popcorn chicken on the menu. The menu had a mix of sweet and savory items to choose from. They had an option to order at the counter or touch screen. We opted for the touch screen, but looking back I think ordering at the counter would have been faster because there were so many items on the touch screen menu to get through to complete our order. Overall I really liked the sandwich because it was very filling and really hit the spot in the moment. It was heavier than a snack and I would say it was a small meal. It was like a big piece of popcorn chicken with creamy green aioli between a bun. I would come back for it. My Thai tea was okay. I think I'll opt for a higher level of sweetness next time. I've been here twice now. Justin was friendly and helped me choose the right drink. Last time, it was the jasmine green tea with salted caramel topping at half sweetness. Hey, I'm another girl from California here. After reading great reviews and knowing I was going to be in town and having a craving for some good boba, I decided to visit. To my delight, I was pleasantly surprised! I got a Matcha Boba Latte with Ube cream/foam (someone on here recommended it (thank you), and it did not disappoint)! The boba was warm--the way it should be--extra points for that. They also gave out free stickers at the counter. I couldn't finish it, so I left it in the fridge. This morning while drinking it I noticed a hair in my mouth and had to spit it out. I thought maybe it was me or somehow I got it in my mouth. I always go to Teas'n You when I need a little snack or refreshment. The bubble tea is ever good. I also really like the lychee berry slushy, perfect amount of sweetness. I also like the popcorn chicken. So crispy and flavorful on the outside, and so tender and juicy on the inside. The pastries that Teas'n You offers are so good. Teas'n You does a rewards system, so I frequently get the pastry box of the cream puffs, egg tarts, and cookies. My favorite cookie is the Cookie Monster one! Service is generally pretty friendly, but the last time I went, I had very minimal interaction with the staff as I just ordered on the iPad. I've had the chance to try a few drinks from here, with the most recent being the horchata matcha. I enjoy both drinks separately, so thought I'd give it a try. Glad I did as I really enjoyed it.
