I really like matcha and at teaspoon I feel like the matcha is good but it's not as strong as how I like it. I do like their matcha royale with strawberry as you can see it's my go to drink. Sometimes it's a hit or miss with the strawberry because it can have big chunks of strawberries just hard to chew or swallow through the straw. I do like how you can substitute the dairy option and get oak milk but not for all drinks so I've been wanting to try the taro but haven't been able to for years because of the default dairy option. I know before was only oat milk option and now they've added almond milk. The drinks are not overly sweet like other boba places where you give them a sweet level. I enjoy their matcha but wasn't a fan of their ube coffee. Overall, I think it's good and when my friends visit from out of town it's easy to settle on this place because the kids enjoy the variety. I don't go here a lot but I went recently to get lemonade since I'm sensitive to caffeine. I did have a friend who got the gallon orders and it was efficient. They gave a lot of cups and straws. I'm a little bit on the fence with the straws. I'm all for saving the planet but teaspoon paper straws need to be remove and put in if you like to drink slowly. Teaspoon has been around for over 10 years and growing nationwide for its popular handcrafted boba tea and this is our first time that Bro and I came by on a Saturday morning. Placing an order can be done via on line or by self-service kiosk. Prices are far more reasonable which is why we chose this boba cafe Vietnamese iced coffee is what I order regular size no toppings and Bro had the caramel cream no toppings regular size both price at $6.50. One can dine-in or outdoor seating ample parking though best to come by early more so on a weekend than on a weekday. Definitely be back for sure and the best part they opened till 11 in the evening whereas alot of business are closed less traffic less shoppers. read more

Cute location, and conveniently located, but they keep the music on a lot louder here than the other Teaspoon locations that I've been to. I can't imagine sitting or staying inside there, but the workers seem fine, so maybe it's just me. Also, they have cute little claw machines, although the tokens are a bit overpriced for what the prizes are. Would be fun if you could earn a token when you buy a couple of drinks or something, but I am not sure how expensive it is to operate one of these things, so perhaps not economically feasible. The Teaspoon itself is what you expect, although I did notice that my cup was significantly less filled (like a 1.5 inch gap versus like 0.5 inch under the lid) than at my usual location in Milpitas, but it may have been a fluke since my husband's drink was more normally filled. Drinks were well made, and the shop is tidy. It is a convenient location of we're shopping at either Costco or 99 Ranch, so most likely I will be back. I like that Teaspoon has a limed menu and what they do have, they do well. I usually order on the app ahead of time and pick up here. You also accumulate points so that's a plus. My last couple of orders have included the pineapple shine and lychee breeze. Lychee breeze is a summer seasonal drink and it's one of my favs. It's a good mix of lychee tea with watermelon juice. I love watermelon flavored drinks. So refreshing. Then I usually get the pineapple shine because it already includes a topping - osmanthus jelly. And I like pineapple. The lychee on lychee also has lychee jelly topping included in the drink. If I don't want a topping, my other favs are the guava sunset, and the ladybug. Have not had a bad drink here. read more

I'm not sure if they get their mochi donuts from an outside provider or local shop, since I haven't seen them at every teaspoon location, but was interested to try to pandan mochi donut. It was unfortunately a let down as it tasted stale and not flavorful at all. I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch or day old. The texture didn't taste like mochi at all and I didn't get event a hint of pandan flavor. I would just stick to their drinks and not try their snacks or baked items as multiple locations I was not satisfied with the quality. This Teaspoon shares a huge parking lot with some popular spots but there are still plenty of spots no matter the time you come. As with all Teaspoon, they also take online orders if you're looking for a quick take out. They have an app if you're looking to earn rewards with your purchases. If you choose to order in-house, they operate a couple kiosks and can also take your order at the traditional register. We ordered the black sugar assam and the silky strawberry. When placing your order, there are customizations you can make as well including ice level and toppings. Both drinks were deliciously made and matched our specifications. One suggestion for newcomers is to shake your drink to mix up the syrup first. Should you decide to hang out in the store, they have a few tables and chairs and can accommodate small groups. They also have a gender neutral bathroom for customers. The staff were friendly and quick to complete our order. Overall, the drinks were above average, service was great, and prices were reasonable. I ordered a few drinks for family which mainly taro lover, black sugar assam, golden brew and the creamy jasmine. I think the taro lover was really smooth and the taro milk went well with the taro chunks! Sometimes places make the chunks too chunky or it's dry and crumbly, but this had more of a paste texture? The location is quite convenient, as it is walking distance in the same plaza (vs the nearby Sharetea that is difficult to park at). I was obsessed with the banana honeycomb milk drink last winter. Currently, they have a grapefruit drink, Teaspoon Paloma, which is very refreshing! I like the small pieces of grapefruit that they add. If you prefer something simple, they also have a pretty good selection of teas. My fiance likes to get the genmaicha tea with milk here since you don't really see genmaicha at boba shops too often! This location doesn't get too busy, so you usually can get your drink quickly. They have a few tables to sit and hang out at. Teaspoon is probably my favorite boba store, and since this is the nearest Teaspoon from my workplace, I stop by occasionally when I want to treat myself. My go-to is usually Silky Mango, a delightful sweet, creamy mango drink. It comes with honey boba which is warm, soft, and sweet. There are certain places that I choose to forgo the boba but this is not one of them. One of the things about this place is that during low boba supply, it seems that they save the boba that they have left for the drinks that come with boba (e.g. Silky Mango, Silky Strawberry, Caramel Cream, etc.). I kind of like this concept, but that may be because it benefits in my favor :) Recently, I tried one of their seasonal drinks: honeycomb banana latte. This drink was pretty good. I didn't realize that the honeycomb crumbles they include on the side are actually dalgona crumbles. These are more like toffee bits as opposed to what I imagined to be honeycomb cereal chunks LOL. It was my first time trying this but it was yummy. Banana milk was good, and the coffee was a nice pick-me-up. This drink fell short from my top drink mostly because I was missing the boba. It was already a hefty price without any modifications. The drink also wasn't too sweet (sorry I have a sweet tooth heheh) but I'm sure that would be a plus to most people. I'm glad I tried it though. It was a good experience, and I would love to try the rest of the series' drinks. Update: I tried the honeycomb banana milk, and I like this a lot more than the latte. It's sweeter and the banana packs a punch. I also splurged for the boba so that was a plus. Of course, you can't forget about the yummy dalgona bits. I try to sprinkle a little at a time so that I still get that little crunchiness when I sip it right away...and also eat some on the side hehe. When I went to pick this drink up, they also had samples for the honey series. I've been wanting to also try honey pear-adise, but I've been holding off since I don't typically like fruit teas as much so it was the perfect chance. The worker gave me a sample, and I thought it was pretty good. It's very refreshing and the pear is obviously present and I could taste the subtle fruit bits in there. I'd recommend it if you prefer fruit teas, but I think of the series, the honeycomb banana milk is my winner. I will be coming back for it for sure. I also came for their Halloween promo: a free Green Monster if you're in costume. I got the "trick" part of the "trick-or-treat" as they forgot to put in the boba. A new person was working so I will give it a pass. Either way, the drink was just ok. It was more on the watery side and didn't have a strong flavor. At least it was free. I love coming here.
