Cristian solved the issue with my 5 year old GE refrigerator which had stopped working completely. Three other repair persons prior to him were unable to figure out the problem and were leading me in the wrong direction, I was about to give up hope and had started looking into purchasing a new refrigerator. I have had the Teckrom crew over 3x now. Once for our Miele stove / oven, another for our KitchenAid refrigerator / freezer and lastly for our LG Dryer. Cristian, the owner, did a heck of a job finding a very (very) hard-to-find part for our Miele - which was huge because this is a ~$15K oven that wouldn't operate without it. Joseph, who installed it - and also repaired our massive KitchenAid fridge and lastly, our LG Dryer, is honestly one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and super competent. I wish I could say I had a good experience with this company but I did not and will never use or recommend them for anything because of the horrible attitude of the owner Christian. In short, the technician who came initially was just lovely, polite and professional and when he could not figure out the issue with our dryer, he said he would ask the owner Christian to come by. Per the initial conversation with both the lady at the office who set the schedule and the technician, the price of the inspection was going to be $65.00 and when Christian arrived and looked at the dryer and suggested a couple of parts that may or may not fix the issue to the tune of $450+ - I said that I would need time to think it over since a new dryer could be about the same price. He was not happy with my comment and when I said I could pay him or call his office, he said the charge would be $195.00 - how did we go from $65.00 to $195.00 without any explanation and when I told him that I was willing to pay him what was agreed on, he became belligerent and rude. He was so miffed that he told me I didn't have to pay anything which was not my intention at all - I was not looking for a freebie but wanted to pay the amount agreed on. I told him I would never use his company again and called his office the next day and they gladly took the agreed $65.00. read more

Christian & Gabriel both came over to fix my Samsung dryer for me and they were very nice and professional. Gabriel came over first thing Saturday morning and was able to locate the problem within ten minutes and have it fixed in that same hour. They warranty their work, and explained everything about the dryer and what we should look out for if we have problems in the future. I have not written too many reviews but this is one that really counts and will help others who read. I have owned a Thermador Oven since 2005. From the first 6 months that this expensive oven was installed there have been issues. The first dinner party with 20 people, the oven would not keep the temperature and our meal had to be finished at our neighbors home. 6 mos later another dinner party and the oven again did not work and thankful for such amazing neighbors to let us take over their kitchen once again. The years were followed by calling Thermador and various technicians were sent out to fix the same problem and some could not ever find an issue where some fixed for a short time and then it would go out again. Since this oven is computer generated, everything had been replaced over the years. Another huge issue with the Thermador technicians was the wait sometimes up to 3 mos to get someone out, so needless to say, the oven was not used as much since it could not hold the temperature. Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2021 and again the oven started 2 hours into Thanksgiving dinner. I could not get anyone to come out until December. The last guy that Thermador sent was here for 30 minutes and the end result was that the part was obsolete and to buy a new oven! A friend recommended someone that he felt was really good and needless to say I was skeptical. Gabriel from Teckrom came and looked at the oven and said he could repair the oven but he would have to come back a second time because he did not have the parts. I was really worried and thought I might get ripped off but this is where the story has a great ending. Gabriel had the part that Thermador said was obsolete and replaced it. I waited 3 months to write this as I was still not a believer and was waiting for the issue to arise again and it has not. The oven actually works better than it ever has. I don't know why Thermador does not use this company or at least consults with them. From now on any appliance issue will be resolved in this house with Teckrom! After reading all the stellar reviews, I sent the owner, Christian, a message about scheduling service for our dishwasher. One of Christian's employees, Gabriel, came and evaluated the work needed. He was very personable, honest, and trustworthy. You could tell Gabriel really enjoyed his job. I've never met someone so excited about appliance repair. The washer needed a new motor, which wasn't cheap, but better then buying a new one, which needed to be ordered. Upon Gabriel's return, he was accompanied by another employee in training. Once again, we were not disappointed. Their excellent service only continued. When it rains it pours!!!The night before, our refrigerator stopped producing ice. Gabriel was kind enough to inspect and determine the electronics just needed to be reset. In addition, our washing machine has been rattling during the spin cycle. Gabriel and his coworker evaluated the washer and determined the bearings seal failed. He suggested not repairing it , but purchasing a new one when it finally fails. He didn't think it was worth the repair. I am sure Techron makes money on their service, but that's what a business is supposed to do. I received a quick respond to my request for a quote and appointment. I made the request last night and they came out in the 4 hour window given. My technician was polite and efficient. The heRing element in my dryer needed to replaced. He ordered it today(Saturday). The part will be in on Tuesday and he will repair/replace it then. I am completing this review the following g week.. This business has my appreciation and loyalty now. They came back when they said and did the repairs efficiently and for less than the estimate. The following weekend our washer started leaking only when operating. They came out opened it up and found it was the drainpipe it drained into (a plumbing issue). The owner who came to do the repairs this time. He didn't charge me, even though he was due a service fee for showing up and diagnosing the problem. My experience has been very favorable. read more

I have called Christian about a leak we had in the back of the fridge . He initially asked me for the basic questions (mode of the fridge etc.) which I provided him with. once I have him additional details about the leak .he said he needs to order the part and won't be able to come the same day. Sure enough a few minutes later , he called me and said that he has the part in the office but he still needs time to go get it across town but he promised to come to stop the leak first ASAP. He also suggested a couple things for me to do to stop it myself. Long story short, his advice guided me to fix the leak. His honesty and ability to put himself in the customer's shoes are refreshing. He was concerned about the cost I would Incur and encouraged me to temporarily fix it myself. I ended up not using his services since I am now satisfied with the temp solution. however, I would definitely recommend him and his company as I rarely see this kind of genuine care from folks in his trade. read more

My 15 year old washer wasn't working correctly and I called in the early afternoon hoping to get repairs done the same day. Within an hour Gabriel called me back and told me he could be at my house in 45 minutes. He showed up on time and immediately proceeded to diagnose and repair the problem. Within 20 minutes he had everything working like new again. He was polite, clean, and really knew his job. Hoping I never need him again just the same I got his card and have it just in case. Very grateful to have Christian come out to diagnose a problem with the rattling sound my washer was making. I don't know how many other people would be able to figure out that the problem resulted from improper installation by Home Depot when the W/D were first delivered. The long term resolution will require structural changes but Christian made adjustments to keep the machines working in the short term and prevent them from damaging each other. AND he was willing to take a rapid COVID test and wear a mask, which were critical in my situation. Grateful to know him. read more
