Absolutely AMAZING service!! My family and I had a major meltdown with one of our refrigerator valves to where the water wouldn't shut off no matter what we did! Ted's level of service is great! I had a 1950s bathroom sink vanity that was a monster of a job. Probably more than Ted initially anticipated, but he was happy to demo, customization of my new vanity and ensured plumbing updated appropriately. What I appreciated most he was so conscientious to clean as he worked, always made sure I was informed and comfortable with whatever changes he was making. We make an appointment, 10 minutes before he's due he calls and says he'll be a bit late...ok. 5 hours go by and we get a text. Can he come tomorrow morning?! Really? He waits 5 hours before before contacting us?! Meanwhile the entire day is shot waiting for him! Unreliable, narcissistic, horrible customer service, undependable...oh the list goes on and on! Hello ... it was a late afternoon in Mid-May 2021 when my Mom's water heater in Hollister CA stopped working. I stumbled upon Ted's Plumbing after calling a few other plumbers in town. Ted picked up on the first call ... and Hallelujah Ted said he was in Hollister and if we wanted he could swing by Home Depot get a new water heater and then come by and install the water heater. It was about 4 or 5pm when I called him ... by 7pm Ted was at my Mom's house and went about installing the new water. Around 9pm or so Ted had it all done and hot water was flowing again. 7-18-18 Had a broken pop up drain pipe and P-Trap clog issues under the master bathroom sink. Ted came carefully assessed the breakage and was able to keep the original pop up assembly and drain gold trim pieces intact. The home depot products were not a perfect match so he just used a few critical pipe pieces and completely replaced the P-Trap. End result, our sink drains freely and no leaks from the new hardware. Took some effort but he was able to clear the pipes. The best part is that he was careful with our flooring and completely cleaned up the area after. Rip off. Came to find a leak that ended up being right under the furnace, and instead of opening the furnace to check they cut an unnecessary hole in the drywall. Terrible service. Did not bring his own bucket, trash bags, paper towels, etc. Also dirtied the bathroom,dripping waste water from the snake all over the floor. Was incredibly incompetent. I called this company on Friday Evening 4/1/16 at 5 P.M. Looking for assistance in replacing a broken water heater. I had waited all day for another company that arrived at 4 and said they could not get parts until Tuesday and if I wanted it replaced it would be over $2300 and they could do it next week. Teds plumbing was very understanding and said they would be out to replace it that night if I wanted it. They also said they would do it without charging me overtime. As it was already after 5 and Ted was on the road from Sacramento and would not arrive util around 6:00 so I requested they come on Saturday. Ted picked up a new heater from Home Depot on Friday evening and showed up at 8:30 on Saturday 4/2/16. By 11:30 I had a new heater installed and they were cleaning up. If I ever need another plumber and someone asks my for a good plumber I would only refer Teds Plumbing. Ted's Plumbing is OUTSTANDING!
