    Lemon custard shake
    Meg E.

I came here for the first time years ago for a Yelp event and loved the giant gingerbread milkshake I had around Christmas time. The cup had sweets adorned around the cup, such as sprinkles, with whipped cream and a gingerbread cookie on top. It had great flavor, the woman who assisted me was wonderful, and I looked forward to returning. I don't live nearby but have come by a handful of times since. Flavors are posted on social media daily, as well as on a hand written paper by the drive thru. Some flavors are made with local Sundae's (located in Geist) ice cream. Outside of my first visit for the event, customer service has been terrible. A young man always opens the window and just stares at you. No greeting or smile or anything to make you feel welcome. If you ask him any questions, he acts very put out, sighs, and comes back with an answer a little later. The shakes no longer have edible decor on the cups and are no longer topped with anything but prices are high for one shake ($8+). I tried to come here with a friend (their first time) over the weekend and customer service was again...not great. I asked what was in the blueberry cobbler shake and upon the young man's return, he told me it was blue raspberry ice cream to make it with. Uhmmm... I asked if they had blueberry ice cream and he just stared at us. I said, "I apologize if that's a weird question." Again, he just stared at us. I asked what the Twinkie milkshake and he sarcastically said, "It's just Twinkie." Maybe a dumb question on my end but I don't care for plain vanilla ice cream so I was curious how it was made. Cake ice cream, icing swirl...? I felt downright unwelcome at this point so I said, "Maybe another time but not today, thank you." and he just closed the window. I never need to come back and my friend said, "I am so glad we didn't spend any money here!" So disappointed because support local, especially mom & pops, is important! But for service like that, I'll go to Steak n Shake for a shake that's a fraction of the price.

Five Stars!! We loved this place and we will be back. Ice Cream was amazing. Very delicious. The staff were incredibly sweet to my kids and nice to us adults. Even when I asked for a custom ice cream.

Let's get into this review! This place is such a gem! I ordered mint chocolate mini cup it was delicious! But there are so many items to choose from that ate fun to eat and look at it! The inside was nice and was giving ice cream vibes! The service, the service, the service wonderful! Very friendly and kind and willing to assist! Wonderful ice cream shop! They also have spoons that are temperature changing, it's the little things that count!

We all scream for TeeJay's!! Plenty of choices to choose from! Friendly service! And uniquely delicious ways to enjoy your ice cream! Went here for birthday desert and was not disappointed! I cannot believe how fresh and tasty the ice cream was! The mouth feel and the flavors are just to scream for! Please do your tastebuds a favor and swing by you won't let them down! The interior is simple and the vibes it gives off are just right!

Sweet owners + sweet treats = 5 star experience. Why are owners Taylor and Jerome so cool?! They not only own this ice cream shop, but they also own a dentistry practice and are both dental hygienists. They joke that their two businesses keep the other one going. Honestly, so clever. They're also getting married next year! You could say they're busy. This shop is currently closed on the inside and only open via the drive-thru to keep everyone socially distanced. I honestly prefer that, as it makes getting ice cream in the winter even better... you don't have to get out of your car! Pull up to the window, order and pay, then drive around to the front and wait for them to bring your treat to your car. I ordered an Oreo milkshake and it was truly one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. I'm borderline allergic to dairy, yet still still took the dive because it was that good. It was topped with whipped cream and an Oreo, and had an Oreo crumble rim (which did crumble into my car cup holder, but delicious). They're known for their unique, evolving concoctions such as donut ice cream sandwiches, cotton candy ice cream burritos, rotating flavors, and so much more. You can't go wrong!

Tons of great reviews may be a bit misleading. Walked in on a Saturday night and the place was welcoming enough. Sprinkles wallpaper and people sitting inside playing checkers. Workers were relatively attentive (as much as high schoolers are) and the price isn't too bad either. The whole ambiance seemed thrown together, and the smell of the place did not go unnoticed (it wasn't pleasant). Got two scoops and a brownie sundae. Nothing to write home about but not too shabby either. Bit on the pricey side for what it was., but their specialties seemed more worth it.

I can't get enough of this place! Hubby ordered a strawberry shortcake milkshake that cane with pieces of those nostalgic strawberry shortcake rolls you'd find at the grocery store mixed in! I went for a donut sandwich with lemon pound cake ice cream! Soooooo good! Kids loved it too! There will be a wait and it's drive through only. But that gives you plenty of time to look at pictures from their Instagram and Facebook page, or Yelp!

    Great drive thru setup!

Hallelujah! We finally made it to TeeJay's after driving by way too many times in a hurry and knowing how busy they are. Thanks to their current drive-thru setup, the whole ordering and flow process was a cinch. We were craving an afternoon treat after visiting Holliday Park for a hike and I quickly remembered this spot that I've had bookmarked for years. For starters, if the drool-worthy pics of donut ice cream sandwiches and beautifully topped milkshakes don't draw you in, maybe the ice cream sandwich made with fruity pebble rice crispy bars will? There's truly a little something for everyone on the menu and especially for the kid at heart. I couldn't believe I found myself ordering a Fruity Pebble milkshake but I'd be lying to you if I didn't admit that I love a good box of Lucky Charms or Fruity Pebbles and yes, I know it's chock full of sugar. The fruity pebble milkshake is INCREDIBLE- it's super fluffy (aka doesn't get stuck in the straw) *and* features crispy chunks of pebbles with every slurp. The combination of fluff and crisp was dynamite. I know that I should try something new on my next visit but this was so good that'd it be hard not to order it again. Last but not least, the service was friendly and efficient. Five stars all aroun

I've been wanting to come here forever and finally made it! At a little after 6PM on an on and off rainy Tuesday, we were the first in line! A few arrived shortly after us, but the line stayed quite reasonable while we were there. It was so hard to decide because there were so many amazing choices! I went with a fruity pebble sandwich with strawberry ice cream to just go for total fruity goodness. The fruity pebble treats were fresh and delicious with soft marshmallow and crispy fruity pebbles....mmmm...these were definitely made today. The strawberry ice cream went perfectly with the fruity pebbles and had excellent flavor with good chunks of strawberries. The size of the treats is perfect in my opinion. Two good sized scoops of ice cream on the two fruity pebble treats made for a hearty dessert without crossing that "I'm starting to feel sick, but it's so good I'm going to keep eating" threshold. You could definitely come here AFTER dinner rather than just do an ice cream dinner! I definitely want to try the donut sandwiches and other flavors of ice cream. I actually live dangerously close...and now that I know how nicely the treats are packaged, I know I could come here even if I don't have a buddy in the car with me to hold the ice cream while I drive. They have the drive through system down perfectly. After ordering at the window, you drive back around the front where your order is brought out with each item in it's own labelled container. They are still just offering drive through service but there is a lot of room in the parking lot to hang out and enjoy your ice cream if you're not sure if it will melt before getting home. I will definitely be back soon!

First time have ice cream here and it was amazing. The flavors are endless. And the ice cream itself is not overly sweet. That way you can enjoy it more. The staff gives off a very friendly family like vibes. One of the few ice cream places besides Dairy Queen that have a drive thru. Big Plus!!

Definitely our favorite dessert place! My husband and I love ordering fruity pebble and have tried it with a variety of flavors--all amazing! Some of our favorites are graham central and key lime. We've brought friends before as well and they enjoyed their milkshakes. Also have had three donut sandwich and it's just a bit too rich for me personally, but I bet it's perfect for someone with a major sweet tooth! The drive-thru is convenient and they usually get through the line quickly, but I'm looking forward to be able to visit the dining room in the future.

We've been focused on supporting more local and minority-owned businesses near our home. TeeJays checks all the boxes plus more. This cute little ice cream shop is delicious! Currently only drive thru but moves pretty fast! Great service and ice cream options! Next time we look forward to trying one of their more adventurous options!

Dear TeeJay, I have just visited your place and it seems we both share a fond liking for unique sweet treats. My forte is normally a cake but from today on...when I want ice cream, I will put you in my top spot! First things first, I've never been to your establishment and I mistakenly got into the pick up line and not the drive thru line. For a newbie, maybe I should've read the Yelp reviews for instruction (but I didn't want to be swayed both others opinions) so I blindly got in "line". Could the front door have a neon sign tell us new folks the process please?? Secondly, upon driving up, our kind attendant was lovely. He told us the process and more than made up for our failed blunder! He let us know the flavors and even gave us a few recommendations. We drove around to our spot for pick up thinking about how nice he was! Our choices: fruity pebbles ice cream sandwich with strawberry cheesecake ice cream and brownie milkshake with brownie pieces. HELLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO. HOW YOU DOIN? This was like I got slapped in the face with goodness. My item was the fruity pebbles ice cream sandwich. Why God why haven't I made rice crispy treats with fruity pebbles?? TeeJay, you are a genius. The strawberry cheesecake ice cream had chunks of cheesecake and strawberries. (Eh hem..not little baby pieces but recognizable yummy bits). I tried to take a bite while driving home and decided to pull over and finish my delightful sandwich. The sweetness fruit flavor of the fruity pebbles and the fruity ice cream complimented one another perfectly. I would definitely order that again. The brownie milkshake was my daughter's. It was chocolatey and had nice (again) CHUNKS of brownies in it. We talked about how they probably bake brownies and chop them up to add. While I am not sure this actually happens, they were fresh and awesome. She chose to have the brownie pieces mixed and topped. The straw they provide is a great tube to ensure each sip is rewarded. So in closing, TeeJay, I am thankful for your sweet tooth. We will be back to explore your other treats! Thank you!

The bitter taste of espresso paired with the sweet mascarpone cream filling reminded me of the holidays when I would watch my mom make tiramisu for our family. While a lot of people prefer a sweeter espresso, I thought this was perfect and very true to a traditional tiramisu taste The Pear Kouglof reminded me of a fresh yeast donut that's been tossed in sugar This was a very kid-friendly pastry in taste and while I wasn't too blown away by it, it did make me wonder if I would have preferred it with a stronger, more potent, fruit. The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up

Granted, I had a lot of items with my baby and her and we were seated at a table for two with her in my lap but it was close quarters and the waitresses were squeezing between the chairs to walk around. They have about 6 tables inside with a small event private room in back. Our waitress was kind but, the manager or owner was off-putting. She went to every single table seated except ours to ask how their meal was and experience and, when time to pay, she wanted to personally ring me up to ensure we left in a hurry. I get it, some places are not meant for babies, but, since it's billed specifically to kids, I thought this was. Nope, I was wrong. (She's 19 months - so, too young for this bougie of an establishment clearly) I would not come back at all unless it was for my, older daughter to have a birthday cake experience and get a couple cute pics. As far as instagram-worthy goes, they know what they're doing. As far as quality of food. It's like a 2.5 stars. I wish we'd waited and walked into the larger one in Carmel and just shopped and got some cookies to go!
