Went here early on a weeknight so there was parking nearby and it wasn't as crowded. But as we were leaving, this place got crowded by the hipsters. We got seated and received service right away. My friend and I decided to share so we can try more dishes. We shared the Mexican tatertots and peanut butter and jelly burger. The tatertots were like nachos, it got soggy coz of all the sauces but it was good and filling. Their peanut butter burger was actually really good. I was actually looking for more peanut butter but it was a good balance. The burger has a kick to it so if you don't like spicy, heads up. But I think the kick gives it a good balance to the peanut butter jelly taste. I'd definitely come back for that. We got beer also with HH price. This is a review for their Wednesday wings special! I have known about this place for a long time but have not had the chance to stop by because I live in San Jose. Fortunately, my current rotation is at SFGH which is a few blocks from here. It was packed when we got there at 7pm but luckily it was only my friend and me. We found a spot on the fake grass outside and semi-picnic'd it. We ordered some wings and they came out really fast! I was expecting a long wait since there were so many people and it must have been hard to find us but nope, wings came out fast and hot and delicious. We ordered the Mango Habanero and the dry wings and the sauce had a great, spicy but sweet flavor. My friend said she ordered Death before and it was so spicy, she was only able to handle one bite. After hearing about the .25 cent wings on Wednesdays, I had to come check it out. This place does get full so come early. We ordered 10 of each wing (habanero, original, bbq and buffalo), the wings are larger than your usual wing chain spot. Like everyone else the habanero were the most memorable. Also, ordered the tot-chos and reuben rolls both were tasty. One tip, they don't let you take any wings home which is weird. Came here after work with some coworkers on a Wednesday and this place was packed. It took us forever to find a table, but we eventually did outside in the patio. We got every flavor of the wings except the spiciest one, Mac and cheese, and tator tots. Everything was good, but the tator tots definitely hit the spot. I'm not sure how the crowd is usually, but I wouldn't recommend coming here when there's a game (the giants were playing when we went). Be prepared to push and shove as there's barely any room to stand in the line with the servers and customers constantly walking around you. Also have someone from your group stand in line to order everything while the others hunt for seats. Great place in the Mission to hang out with friends for drinks or some small foods - the tots are particularly good. It's like a hybrid of tater tots and nachos. When the weather is nice-ish, the outdoor patio area is great. There's even a TV if you want to watch a big game or something. I still to this day have no clue how this restaurant / bar earned its name. But Dr. Teeth is probably one of my favorite places to get drinks or some greasy american fare. Their wings are large and meaty with a variety of sauces mix it up with, grilled cheese will put you in a nap coma but well worth the sleep, a bomb peppery bloody (a bit pricey at $11), good choices of drafts and cans, decent eggs benny, a gigantic heart clogging breakfast burrito, and the tots oh man TOTS in truffle oil. My deep fried savory tooth is satisfied there. I cannot offer higher than 4 stars, the service is typically pretty slow (consider it euro hipster chic) and its the loudest place in the world on the weekend (clearly I'm just getting old). Average food that probably tastes good doused with a drink. A group of friends and I went to Teeth SF (aka Dr. Teeth) for a noon 'brunch'. Bottomless mimosas are available for $15. Brunch options are your greasy American favorites (tater tots, burgers, wings, omelettes) with Mexican influence (think dishes with guac, salsa, green chilis, and tapatio at the table). I ordered the totchos (tot nachos). The tots were your standard fried bunch but could have been crispier. All the cheese sauce, sour cream, guac, and salsa sort of overwhelmed the dish over time and made some of the tots soggy, leading to mushy mashed potato mess. The mimosas taste a bit watered down but they keep your glasses full (so I suppose drink more?). The home of the best totts in the Bay Area. I didn't end up ordering any drinks from this place so I can not vouch for their drinks but my boyfriend and I did try their food. First off, I am a new found vegetarian (occasionally I eat seafood) and it is hard to find acceptable meals for my vegetarian lifestyle late at night on a Friday, in San Francisco. I ordered the nacho tatter totts and was pretty surprised. The flavors were all there!! I just wish they put more cheese and other topping on top and this is why I gave this review 4/5stars. Toppings to totts ratio definitely wasn't equal. My boyfriend ordered the mango habanero wings. I think he got 6 wings for $10 bucks. He said they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The two times I've been here now have both been on game day Sundays, but for some reason it doesn't get close to packed here at all as other bars/gastropubs would in the city while the 49ers play. I'm convinced now after scoping the crowd both times that it's because most of the people here are SF implants which is more frequent in the Mission nowadays...or just aren't die hard 9er fans, which are both fine. But for those looking for that type of environment with people decked out in Niners gear, high fiving each other after each play, this is not where it's at. Anyway, it's nice for a change up to still be able to grab a table in the middle of the game and get to the bar with no hassle. I've always sat in the outside back patio area where it's also dog friendly, the only downside is that the TV back there is a little small. Both visits here were mainly to grab drinks after coming from eating somewhere else, so I've only had room to try the wings. I always get the sweet chili while my bf likes the buffalo wings, so we get the 12 pieces for $11. The weird thing about the service is that the waiters that serve the outdoor area in the back don't have access to adding items if you have a tab open in the bar. So I still had to get up and put my order in the bar and take a number with me, no biggie but I also don't see why the server can't add it into the already existing tab? I'd love to come back for the 25 cent wing Wednesdays and actually come hungry enough to try other items on the menu. Originally I did not want to try the Jelly Donut and Fried Chicken Sandwich. However my friend convinced me to just give it a try. When my meal came out the chicken looked and tasted amazing. The chicken wasn't dry and had a good amount of flavor to it. The plate was drenched in syrup and the donut had a jam spread with five pieces of fried chicken on top. The combination was delicious. I usually find these types of meals very rich and overpowering but this one was just right. The saltiness of the chicken complimented the sweetness of the donut and jam. My friend ordered the crab cakes Benedict which was very well made. Their pouched egg it perfect and oozed onto the crab cakes. They also added Holliday sauce on top and spinach at the bottom along with tater tots and some ranch. When I tried a bite of the meal the crab cakes were delicious but had a pretty salty seafood taste to it. Don't get me wrong I loved that kind of seafood flavor but I just found it a bit too salty for my liking. I think by eating the spinach along with it neutralizes the saltiness as well as a bite of a tater tot (I don't know why). Overall the meal was delicious and I would definitely love to come back! This review is for brunch only. It was dissatisfying, mostly because the service was so terrible. We got here around 10:30 AM on a Saturday, and the inside was already packed, but the outside patio area still had seats, and it was quite nice. Seems like if you come any later, though, it's pretty difficult to find a seat. It's first come first serve, so the servers don't do much to help you find a table either. You have to order at the bar because the servers are too busy to handle it. You get a number and they're supposed to deliver your food and drinks to the table, except they never delivered our drinks, so we had to go to the bar and get them ourselves. We ordered bottomless mimosas and mendotas (beer + grapefruit juice). They were okay, but they never really came around to refill our cups. I got one of the scrambles, and it didn't really taste like anything super amazing like I'd never tasted before. The tater tots were pretty good, but not good enough to negate the relatively meh experience otherwise. Seems like it's a much more fun place as a bar - I'll probably come back to check it out at night. read more

We witnessed the staff being disrespectful to this girl here because she just wanted to take her wings on the go and threatened her even though she paid for it. We also know that the bussers charge people under the table to take wings on the go in their to-go box. I was here two months ago and witnessed it. A shorter Latin man asked people for cash for their to-go boxes. So, stealing from the business is ok, but a girl taking her PAID wings home herself is stealing from them? HA! Maybe we should record next time they do something like this especially when the bussers are just taking work money. There is also nothing on the sign that says you can't take them home yourself. He forcefully grabbed the girl's bag out from between her legs to check for the "stolen wings" in her bag. She opened up the bag and there was nothing- she left it and gave it to others to eat. Why was it necessary to threaten this girl to "drag her m****er f****king ass out" and it didn't matter how young or old they are?! His nasty attitude was uncalled for. We saw him snap a photo without her consent, then wanted to get up into her face about being "86'ed". The waitress who came up to our table had a nasty attitude as well. The girl being harassed by staff members told the waitress that we were still eating and finishing up our drinks, then proceeded to forcefully slam the bucket we had been using and stomped off. 25 cent wings ain't worth it for this shit show of a bar. I use to be a regular at their weekend brunch. It was a great place to eat a lot of food and get bottomless mimosas for under $20. It's always been pretty divey and the people who go here for brunch GO HARD, but recently they reduced their brunch menu to very few items, which is really disappointing since they got rid of alot of favorites (RIP the wake and bake grilled cheese and Giants Platter). They also have switched to the "oder at the bar only" style of serving, which creates long lines and even longer waiting times for food. Great place for happy hour! From 5 pm to 10 pm, they have deals on deck. I was able to get $3 beers and $4 well drinks as well as great food and an amazing environment. I ordered an Anchor Steam Summer Lager and an Atom Splitter for a total of $6. For food, they have all of the bar foods you want from tater tots (crispy and hot!) to grilled cheeses to wings! Most of all, there's a ton of seating both inside with tables for larger groups as well as lots of space outside with the patio (and there's corn hole outside too!!!!!) Overall, it's a GREAT choice if you are in the Mission. The only downside is the lack of parking, but 'tis the life of living in San Francisco. We ordered the totchos and a sampler with grilled cheese, corn dogs, and chicken wings for the five of us to split. The totchos were excellent; tater tots topped with an abundance of nacho toppings. The grilled cheese comes served with hot, delicious tomato soup that's perfect for dipping. Their take on corn dogs was well done; wild boar sausage battered and fried to perfection. I am definitely a repeat customer here! First impression was that it was a little chaotic. I learned that its always like that on Wing Wednesday. It starts at 9pm and goes on till 11pm. Wings are 25 cents each after two drinks. My favorite is Au Natural and sweet chili lime! Load up on the wings and grab their tater tot nachos and you are all set for the night! Bringing it back to impressions, it can get chaotic during certain nights. The place is always packed by a younger crowd between 21-35 years old. It is a cool date spot if you don't mind getting your hands dirty. Definitely not a romantic scene, but its fun. It is great for a smaller group of friends. Any bigger than 4, and you might have a hard time securing a table. They have tables in the back passed the bathrooms which can be nice when the weather is nice. Parking normally isn't hard to find if you go a little early. They don't have a parking lot, so it is all street parking. Otherwise, I've always had a great experience. read more

I stumbled into this bar while waiting for my table across the street at Mission Chinese. The place was pretty cool. Definitely attracted a young, hipster crowd (so I was def the oldest, un-coolest person there). But the place had a fun neighborhood vibe to it. The cocktail menu was surprisingly diverse. I wound up ordering the The Mayhem (Fernet Branca, Calvados, Templeton Rye, orange bitters, peychaud's bitters). It seemed like an interesting/potent medley of ingredients. The drink was actually just ok. Even though I like all the ingredients that went into my beverage, they just didn't all work together (at least for my palette). That being said, I did appreciate the effort/creativity that went into making of the drink. And for $11, I didn't feel like I really lost too much on this experiment. The cocktail still had a strong kick to it, so I could at least get a nice pre-dinner buzz going. But what I really enjoyed most about Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem (beside its name) was the people watching. If I lived in the Mission, I would def make this my neighborhood watering hole. Waited 30-40 min for a waiter to help us get a fork. They helped everyone around us...then when I raised my hand she said "I'll be right with you" proceeded to help someone else and never came back.
