Happy hour is worth coming to. I went and had a pretty good time. The food is surprisingly tasty and the drinks were great. So, why one star? While I was there I witnessed what could only be a manager yelling at and demeaning one of the servers. On the floor. For EVERYONE to hear. I don't know what kind of problems are going on behind the scenes at this place, and I don't care. But the customers DO NOT NEED to see or hear it. If and when I do decide to go back, I will turn around and leave if I see this manager. She should know better than to yell and humiliate servers in front of guests. read more

we were going to see a show nearby, and thought this would be a good place for everyone to meet up for dinner before. this is definitely more of a bar than a restaurant, and they play music videos on all the tvs, kind of a neat 90s touch but the music choices are pretty bad. the service was nothing special, and the real deal breaker is how bad the food is. tourist trap mexican bar food. you can do much better by stopping at any taco stand nearby. wouldnt recommend. read more

Te'Kila offers the best food and drinks (mini tacos and quesadilla) along with a young and pretty crowd. You have to try the churro's in chocolate with strawberry's and Pina Tequila-Coloda it tastes great. The tequila bar, which is the focal point is amazing. read more

We were truly surprised and pleased about our experience here. First time visiting the Hollywood Walk and we first wanted to get some food since we were starving. My husband googled restaurants and came upon this place and we decided to try it. The restaurant was completely empty except for one person eating by themselves. Normally that's a bad sign...We tried it anyway. The waitress immediately greeted us and told us to sit wherever we would like. She was very friendly and attentive and helped us choose their popular dish, the chicken fajita plate. Another waiter brought out the plate which was sizzling with chicken, onions, and bell peppers and was also served with beans, rice, pico, guac, and tortillas. It was absolutely delicious! My husband and I shared and were both stuffed! Fair pricing for a restaurant and since we shared was cheaper than expected. I would definitely eat here again if we return to the area. read more

This place is complete crap. I came here for New Year's Eve and the POS waitress who was so stoned out of her mind did don't remember I paid the bill. After my meal I decided to have a drink down the street. The cracked out waitress with her idiotic bouncer came and found me at the bar and accused me of walking out on my meal. I used to go in here all of the time because I live right behind the place. Recently I've been walking in and walking right back out (I literally did this today) because they seem to favor one bartender who probably shouldn't even have a job anymore. Sometimes I'd sit at the bar, sometimes at a table, but if this guy was working, drinks took consistently longer to come out, not to mention I'm pretty sure he's been drunk and/or on drugs more than once when I've been in there. Now, it's Hollywood and you're probably hard pressed to find a bartender who's not strung out on something or other, but I've never crossed paths of a more dysfunctional junkie drink slinger. The last time I was in there I watched him get so drunk that he poured a pitcher of water on one of their waitresses and then started crying, which no one would've noticed if his voice wasn't louder and more offensive than their obnoxious late-night acid trip soundtrack. Entertaining? Absolutely. Embarrassingly uncomfortable? Yep. Enough to make me feel like I'D had enough to drink and it was time for me to leave before somehow I turned in to THAT GUY? Definitely. Apparently his shift had ended before this happened even though he didn't bother telling anyone. I can't say I minded, however, because he was replaced by a hot bartender, who, despite being blonde, seemed to be far more intelligent and highly functioning than her predecessor. I'd go back to making this place a regular stop if 9 times out of 10 I didn't see this guy standing behind the bar. I have no idea what his name is, but I don't think I've ever seen him in anything that's not blue, so beware the blue bartender. If you see him, run away. You don't really have to run and you don't really have to go far, there's plenty of high-functioning druggies pouring shots just next door. read more

Love this place! Very good happy hour deals every day 4-8 and all day Sunday plus daily specials! I've been here many times and the food never disappoints. The only thing I don't recommend is the churro, it was covered in grease and the chocolate dipping sauce tasted cheap. Overall very inexpensive and the fajitas are bomb! read more

I use to enjoy this place but I'm extremely offended that they only offer meat tacos on their taco Tuesday. This is a place in the middle of Hollywood where vegetarians are everywhere. I was told by the waiter that I would have to pay $8 not $1 for my garden tacos. It's absolutely ridiculous. They don't even have options for people that only eat fish. It's ignorant and unfair. Food was good. Service was horrible. We were ignored the entire time and had to flag a new person down for every request. Waited 45-60 minutes for the check (while one of the waiters spent the at least an hour flirting with one of the patrons in front of us) and another 45 minutes for change until we decided to forget it and leave. I've been coming to this place religiously for over a year. If you want a good waitress, ask for Jessica or Marysia, these are not only the best waitresses, but the only ones who will smile and actually care about their table. The happy hour is great! Great quesadillas, GREAT margaritas. However, the only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because, I don't know if they're under new management or something, but they started charging for the chips and salsa... This is a Mexican restaurant! Why would you charge for the chips and salsa, and not even make them unlimited once you pay for them?! Some of the waitresses are pretty bitchy, except for Jessica and Marysia, and the hostess is a sweetheart. Food's pretty great! I love their guacamole. Their fish filet is a hidden gem. Ask for extra sauce for the fish. Order it with fries, rice and a side of guac. Put a bit of the salsa that they give you with the chips on the rice. Game changer. read more

Came here with dinner with some friends. The waiter was rude when we were waiting to get a table. Completely ignored my friend since she got there first so she was trying to get a spot for us. She didn't even acknowledge her or anything. We had a 45 minute wait at around 7:30pm which we did end up waiting for. The chicken nachos were good, although they were a lot smaller than we thought. My tacos were alright. I liked that they didn't skimp on my asada which is a plus for them. The baja taco wasn't good though. The batter wasn't that great and the cheese on the taco was weird. Not to mention there wasn't any sauce for the fish taco? All the places I've had fish tacos usually have some sauce on it but this place didn't. They also forgot my friend's quesadilla. We had to keep asking about it since it never came out. After a very long wait, she finally got her quesadilla. The frozen margaritas that we ordered were very strong. I guess that could be a good thing but the whole time we pretty much just tasted tequila. I couldn't finish mine since it was too much for me. One thing that was really good is our waiter was really nice. She did check in with us periodically and asked if we would like to order any thing else and also kept adding water for us too. It was also really nice of her to give us a churros since my friend had to wait a long time for her quesadillas. The churros weren't the best though. This place is amazing ! It was my first time here and the owners were so kind ! I went to other places before I came here the the customer services was nothing compared to what I received here ! I came in wanting a new radio for my car and they were able to work out a deal with me . Also the services was really quick , I was expecting to wait about an hour only took him 25 mins . I was afraid this place would be touristy and over the top "trendsville" for happy hour on a Monday. Thank GOD I was wrong! We were greeted by a hostess that could have passed for Selma Hayek's younger sister. She was sophisticated and warm. Somehow we were lucky enough to have her for our server! She explained all the menu items and made several suggestions. Her check backs were on point (-being a server with 20 yrs. experience, I pay attention to such things!) and she graciously took our requests. The food and drinks were DELISH. The food was great. The drinks were great. The place was clean and comfortable. Why 2 stars? We were there celebrating our friends birthday. We each had dinner and about 2 drinks each. We brought our own cupcakes for dessert. But when the waitress brought us homemade churros, with whipped cream, a birthday candle, and sang for us, we couldn't resist. They were delicious!!! The unexpected part was that at the end she added them to our bill. Mind you, we didn't order them, as we had our own dessert. Just didn't seem right for her to charge us for something without even asking us first if that was something we wanted for our friend. read more

Great place for late night eats, but be warned!!! They charge for everything extra without warning, including chips and salsa. Waitress also added an automatic 18% gratituity to our bill without telling us and covered up the tip with sharpie in the hopes we wouldn't see it and double tip her. Food was great and service was quick, just beware of extra charges and overbilling. Would have been a 4 star experience for sure if it weren't for the attempted scamming by our waitress. read more

This place was a go when the bouncer lured as in. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to eat after our galavanting in Hollywood. Our waitress Joy was very nice, sweet, and catered to our needs. My boyfriend always need to have a TV around, so she was nice enough to switch our tables. We decided to order steak and shrimp fajitas, and thanks to Joy's suggestion, we made it "drunken." Basically, our fajitas had a shot of Margherita in it and it was the best decision ever. Everything was delicious. The steak and shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the caramelized onions and peppers made it extra yummy. The pico de gallo, rice and beans went well with the fajitas ... so, I'm pretty sure you can only imagine how awesome our dinner was. While we were waiting for it, the chips and salsa were delicious and Joy hooked us up with avocado dip. Such a great experience first time coming in and I have a feeling it won't be the last. What better place to go on Margarita Monday than a restaurant/bar called Tekila?! My friend and I stumbled upon this place during a quick day trip to LA and we quickly fell in love. The first thing that invites you in is the open setting, which makes for great people watching, especially since it's located right on Hollywood boulevard. The bartender and hostess were super friendly and were so quick to take care of us. The margaritas were amazing! I had about four in one sitting: cucumber, jalapeño, strawberry, and strawberry cucumber all with fresh muddled ingredients...my mouth is watering while typing this! They don't used generic sweet and sour either, they make their own agave/orange juice mixture fresh every day! Their tequila selection is unmatched and with their tequila flights you can try them all without breaking the bank. The food was pretty epic too. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were to die for! They were cheesy, saucy, and the meat was tender and cooked perfectly. Definitely come here if you're looking for good food, nice company, and the best margaritas you've had in a while. read more

late saturday night, place half empty, after 5 minutes the waitress took our drink order 15 minutes later it arrived, before I managed to open my mouth trying to ask for the menus she was gone. we just sat there for 20 minutes and after serious waving gymnastics one of them finally noticed that we are in a desperate need of food (keep in mind the patio was nearly empty). we were almost done with our food and drinks so decided to take a smoke break and when we got back our table was empty!
