Glad I found this place! It's local, they had/have all of the supplies I needed (all grit sandpaper, wax and grease remover, masking supplies, clear coat/blending spray, etc). The staff was also very helpful on providing means and methods of how to do the work; which was very helpful to me personally since it's my first time restoring-preparing/painting a 2006 Fleetwood motor home. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my 50 years of life. I walked in, no one acknowledged me, no one offered me help, and was totally ignored. I walked around the store for 7 minutes and not one word to me. I understand your employees can be busy but at least acknowledge my existence on a Wednesday afternoon. I've only been a few times and I love it. They have very informative and knowledgeable staff. They can mix whatever they don't have already canned. They have plenty of prep supplies and many tapes n abrasives. Prices are better that RPC, and they have stuff on sale. read more

As some of you know, I rarely give out five star reviews. Not everyone is "amazing," contrary to public opinion. Chuck at TVP is, though. I arrived there a few minutes before 8:00 am, when they actually open and he greeted me with a smile, car compliments, and "how can I help you." We spent the rest of the day matching paint to the vehicle and he devoted himself exclusively to my car for the next six hours. It doesn't get any better than that! I did some bodywork on the rear quarters of my 1974 VW Beetle convertible. I only needed to repaint this section so decided to try using their color-match service and 2k rattle-can spray bombs. The price for the color match and cans was very reasonable, and the color was an EXACT MATCH! It came out fantastic! I ended up having to repaint the entire interior as well, so had to do another color match and got a few more cans. Again, perfect match and it came out great. Super high-quality and durable paint. I painted in the car outdoors in the driveway, so I wasn't expecting perfection, but I am super happy with the results. read more

I am a freelance painter and I am in constant need of resupplies. I came here the other day to buy 3m tape and I waited almost 10 minutes because the man behind the counter (long hair pony tail Caucasian) decided to have a lengthy conversation with a customer about the old days, nothing to do with busienss there was nobody there except the cashier and the other customer. I sat there patiently for 10mins until he stopped the conversation with the other guy and attended me. It was annoying but I dealt with it seeing it as a small inconvenience although I was pressed with time. The next day I go to order 3m fine line tape and the same guy (Caucasian pony tail) attends me, and asks me what I need. I am precise with my need, half inch 3m fine line tape, and he isn't sure what I'm talking about. Not very professional, perhaps he miss heard me so I repeated myself when he asked me again. He then came out with what I needed. They only had 1 in stock. He then proceeded to charge me $20 for it when literally the other day my coworker got it for $14. He charged me a surplus amount for no reason. I'm not sure if this guy has a problem with me but he always seems to be in a bad mood. The other day I decided to give it another shot. I was actually worried of going there because I really didn't want to deal with this guy again. He was there but a lady was there as well and she attended me and even recommended me a better affordable product. I was really pleased with the way she handled the transaction. She went out of her way to give me a better product that was more affordable. I doubt I am coming here again because I don't want to have to deal with this employee again. Looks like I'll just have to order things online or go to another paint shop. If it was not for the lady that attended me and provides good customer service I would have given this review a 1 star. Edit December 2016: I have came here a couple of more time and I have not seen the guy that used to attend me, the employees there definitely assist me when they can and I feel much more comfortable making purchases here. Restoring classic cars is a hobby of mine to escape from my regular job. I started restoring cars back in the 80's while in high school and went so far as to work for a body shop through high school just to learn how to refinish my projects. 3-years ago I experienced the excellent service at Temecula Valley Paint for the first time and decided to make the switch from Dupont to PPG, which I've learned is a far superior product in both application and durability. Over the past 3-years I've become acquaintances with the owner's (Chuck & Lea) and can say as a business owner myself, they maintain a proven formula for success that isn't experienced enough today. Their formula includes selling a superior product while providing OUTSTANDING service to their customer's. Anytime I have a project that requires a visit to their store, I'm always greeted warmly and receive an endless amount of time from both of them answering my project questions. That might be expected from a body shop buying gallon's a week, but I'm just a hobbyist buying from them a few times a year. I can't tell you how many times Chuck has provided personal training sessions for me just to ensure I'm successful applying their newest products. What can I say about Temecula Valley Paint. I'm painting my first car and started with the hood. Wanted to be sure that I could do it before tackling the rest of the car. I've sprayed cabinets for years and this wasn't much different. What I needed help with was prep, sanding, and finishing. Theses guys are great. Every time I go in to ask questions they take their time helping me. I never feel rushed or like they just want me to buy something. This last time, I needed help determining whether to sand more after clear coat or just keep buffing. Shawn (not sure of spelling) actually got out some sandpaper and a buffer and worked a spot for me. I went away feeling a lot better about what needed to happen. I have been to Temecula Valley Paint on different occasions. They are able to color-match automobile paints. I have ordered different factory matches for vehicles that need some work. One vehicle had factory paint that was discontinued, and they had a match. The matches are impressive. A client thanked me for a good match. The paints are also of good quality. They will give you a recommendation for clear-coating the surface, if you are not in need of a lot of clear-coat. The store is a great local resource. read more

i purchased custom mixed paint for my classic show car to repaint certain parts of the car.they copy ed the paint from a fender on the car when i was there and said it would match but it didn`t . it cost me $ 800.00 to paint the parts on the car and to my surprise it was different shade . it looks like ASS now i`m screwed ! no more cars shows its to obvious. read more
