    Latte with extra shot
    Dan H.

My absolute favorite coffee place. There is always a line out the door but it goes quickly and efficiently. The barista greets you with a smile and they are consistently the best at making your drink. I had a breve latte with and extra shot and it was rich, creamy, beautiful and perfect. I also tried the coffee cake. It was not too sweet, flaky on the outside and tender in the middle. Simply delicious. There is always plenty of seating inside and out. Sometimes parking can fill up but usually if there isn't any in front, there will be some in the back. Love, love, love this place.

I've been here several times but never took the time to review it. It's likely one of the most unique coffee shops in the Sacramento valley. The quality doesn't compare to your major coffee chains. Despite there being a long line, we didn't have to wait long to get our beverages. This joint is super hipster and gives off mega chill vibes. It was a bit loud but that might be the caffeine and excitement of the attendees. Overall a great place to grab a cup of Joe.

Super cute shop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, and nailed all of our orders with modifications. I was a little skeptical, seeing how many locations there are for Temple, but the long line was a promising sign that did not disappoint. POUR OVER: 5/5. One of the better pour overs we've had, high praise from my partner who used to roast his own beans and has historically disappointed with a great many pour overs, even from highly rated places all over the West Coast. MATCHA LATTE: 5/5. As an OC girly with no shortage of incredible matcha spots at my disposal, I was pleasantly surprised. Matcha forward, not too sweet, with a velvety mouthfeel. VANILLA LATTE: 5/5. Reminds me of Blue Bottle lattes on a good day. Perfectly balanced. PRETZEL BACON PASTRY: 4/5. 3 for me, but 5 for my partner who is still talking about it even a week later. Those were just the things I tried first hand, but everyone was raving about their drinks and pastries too.

My best friend first introduced me to Temple when she moved up to Sac. Since then, when I visit her we occasionally visit Temple. After a busy day and before our evening event, we were in need of caffeine. Cue reliable Temple for the fix! This location of Temple is spacious and minimalistic. Decor and merch display the space, plenty of tables to sit and work at, and a nice flow of customers. Temple is a watering hole for a reason. The staff were friendly and the drinks are consistent. Definitely a good spot for friends or to work at. I got the Chai Crème which they used a dairy-free substitute (coconut). It was phenomenal. Super creamy, hint of coconut, and a nice spiced sweetness. My only thing is it came in such a small cup! I wish I got more because I could keep drinking it. My best friend enjoyed her drink as well. Temple is a Sac staple and a cafe we can always rely on for a caffeinated drink anytime of the day. This location is off Fair Oaks Blvd. with free parking in the parking lot.

Looks like very popular coffee place. It was a rainy day but still line was super long. Cafe has great vibe and I loved to see different generations enjoying their coffees doing their work. This cafe runs on farm to table concept. They purchase coffee beans directly from farm and encourage sustainability. I had Dharma blend Gibraltar, I loved it. It's strong coffee and lil milk. It's light and airy drink. We also had orange spiced latte and Americano. Both coffees were good. Raspberry donut, almond croissant, butter croissant were awesome. I wanted bit savory option so I tried veg scone which went perfect with my coffee. If you're in this area definitely try this place.

Ginger Snap Latte with less milk (seasonal drink)

My absolute favorite coffee shop! Temple Coffee is always one of my first stops when I'm in Sacramento. Their drinks are consistently delicious and crafted with care! The Ginger Snap Latte is one of my favorite seasonal drinks and an annual reminder of the changing seasons. I'd recommend Temple Coffee to anyone looking for a place to meet friends or a pick me up at any point in the day (they're open till 10pm)! This location in particular is also a great place to get work done! There is ample space and outlets spread throughout the tables. I've been coming here for years because of the incredible service! I'd highly recommend getting to know your local baristas.

Met up with some friends at this coffee shop, I'd never been before, mostly because I'm not a coffee drinker. But I have discovered a soft spot for a good chai latte lately, so I figured, why not? First off, the place was packed. Line out the door, and the parking situation was a nightmare. We stuck it out since some of the group was already there, and luckily found a parking spot a bit down the street. Inside was bigger than I expected and had a nice vibe. We grabbed seats out on the patio, which was super cute and comfortable. I ordered a chai latte with vanilla and cinnamon on top, it was delicious and totally hit the spot. All in all, the spot was great, and the drink was a win. But real talk? I probably won't be back. The line and parking just aren't worth it for me. I'm a vibes and convenience kinda gal.

These folks make the best espresso. Pastries are good, too. Service is super friendly. Tables clean, supplies stocked.

Great service today, cold brew w whole milk for that 2nd Monday kick. I was greeted by a familiar face, always a plus. This is a college town vibe, very nostalgic for me. Excellent meeting place w the bro. Right off the freeway- plenty to eat around too!

Had a good stop at temple with a friend. We came in to grab a little drinky and read for our book club. I love the ambiance of Temple. I think it's warm and inviting. The service is always excellent with the baristas giving wonderful recommendations and creating delicious drinks.

I've been a fan of temple coffee since they first opened. I just learned that there's a location in the Carmichael area. They consistently have great coffee beverages. I enjoyed my Iced Matcha quite a bit although it was a tad on the sweet side. As it was the end of the day there weren't many bakery items remaining, but of course, my granddaughter managed to find something she wanted. Clean interior with some nice merchandise.

I had the cold brew with their sweet cream on the top. The cold brew was strong and the cream had a premium stiffness to it that standard coffee places don't do. It was not very sweet and for those who enjoy their coffee with less sugar, this is great. I found the coffee enjoyable throughout my time with it as I sat in the cafe hanging out with my friend. Also, not as strong caffeine wise. The service itself was fine. I do agree with the other reviews about the staffs attitude.
